Iran Rejects Latest Cease-Fire Proposal, Wants Permanent End to War

Iran has rejected a new cease-fire proposal from the United States, insisting instead on a permanent end to the conflict along with firm guarantees against future attacks, according to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
The decision, announced on April 6, comes just hours before U.S. President Donald Trump’s deadline for Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face potential strikes on key infrastructure, including power plants and bridges.
Iran communicated its response through Pakistan, signaling that it is unwilling to accept a temporary pause in hostilities.
“We won’t merely accept a ceasefire,” Mojtaba Ferdousi Pour, head of Iran’s diplomatic mission in Cairo, said in remarks to The Associated Press.
“We only accept an end to the war with guarantees that we won’t be attacked again.”

The two MH-6 Little Bird helos that were destroyed in-place were flown-in on one or more C-130s. Not joking. It's SOP for SpecOps. Some of the main rotor blades are removed, the remainder folded-back along the tail boom, and in they go. Trump said it only took 10 minutes to reassemble them after they were pushed out of the C-130s. Those tiny helos do not have aerial refueling capability, so were no doubt left behind when they were running out of time to get out of Dodge. Didn't have time to refuel them or disassemble and get them into C-130s.

I think they have gotten it up to 1 million lines of code for two weeks.

Until it can isolate likely reasons for an issue, from its innate knowledge of the design, it won't replace programmers. It takes time to reach that level of familiarity, then to find out how to verify it.

I've reached that level with multiple codebases, for different employers. It isn't easy, but it makes the difference in how long a system is down.
