Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | “WE GOT HIM!” – Shot Down Airman Rescued by US Forces in IranFrom President Trump at Truth Social: WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow Warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!No American casualties. Prayers answered. Looks like the IRCG, bitter enders all, want to wait us out. They are depending on Leftists in the US, muslim immigrants to the US, and the slavishly anti-American media. Sadly, we now have to hit Iran much harder. We torched 2 C-130s as the price of getting the WSO out. Very expensive. Aircrew must have soaring morale, to see the efforts we took to rescue one of their own. Well done to all involved. The US worked for years, training, equipping, and testing doctrine to pull this off. Extremely impressive. And the injured colonel was fit, if reports are to be believed. ——- During World War Two, it was customary in news reports to give the hometown. Sometimes their street address. This is not done any longer. Remember the OPM hack? Well - it wasn’t a hack. They outsourced database file management to a Chinese cutout firm. With access to Root. If you don’t know what that means, you probably don’t want to know, from a counterintelligence perspective. Anyway everyone and anyone who worked or works for the government had their personal and personnel information leaked to the bad guys. This includes next of kin information, addresses, that kind of thing. It’s comforting to think that while someone is held as a POW, our enemies at home or abroad could be harassing relatives at home, or worse. Nice, huh? 84 When afloat, you might have a USMC Captain. O-3. The Captain of the ship could be any rank, but is addressed as Captain. Also aboard is a Navy Captain, O-6, addressed as Captain. And then you throw in the Navy First Lieutenant, not a rank but a job description.

There was pay phone in one of the barracks I lived in base. If it rang it was usually someone looking to get a hold of a troopie not necessarily for official biz.
Anyway I was walking by one day and it rang. I liked to answer it “Supreme Allied Headquarters. How may i help you?” Long pause. “Who is this!?” the caller demanded. He sounded pissed off. And probably a lot higher in rank than me. Wheels turn. “Well you don’t know, do ya?” Etc. Much hilarity ensued. Posted by: Common Tater at April 05, 2026 08:49 AM (dMvru) 131

3 Additional C-130's were dispatched to evacuate all involved, including the WSO. But... an "austere" airbase was setup inside Iran for this entire effort. And we pulled it off. Posted by: Martini Farmer at April 05, 2026 09:04 AM (AkEZC) 160

We'll be soft targets and unlike our vacation years ago, that included a stop in Egypt during the Arab Spring, we won't have an armed escort. I already experienced a missile out of gaza that traveled over our hotel in 2023, hoping my good luck continues.
