A good Good Friday morning kids. Let's dive right in.

So, President Trump has sacked Pam Bondi from her position as Attorney General. Her tenure these past several months has been checkered to say the least. And many of our fellow Floridians were not exactly thrilled when Trump tapped her to lead the DOJ in the first place.

She probably wasn’t as bad as her detractors think she was (her job is harder than most realize), but she wrongfooted herself so badly there was no recovery. . . I must admit that I had a problem with Bondi from the get-go because of her involvement in the 2012 George Zimmerman case. Zimmerman was acquitted because he acted in self-defense, something that was always obvious if one paid attention to the facts without being blinded by racial politics. Bondi was the Florida AG at the time, and she supported Angela Corey, the special prosecutor who indicted Zimmerman. . . Since Bondi took over, there have been two complaints: First, she’s failed to bring any indictments against the Democrats who have played fast and loose with the law since Trump’s first day in office. Second, she’s failed to bring any indictments in connection with the Epstein matter or even to name names. . . Whether a victim of circumstances, misspeaking, or genuine boneheadedness, Bondi wasn’t working, so today, Trump made a very kind announcement that she’s out:
Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900. We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General. . .

Given the vicissitudes of politics, it is reasonable to ask did Bondi screw the pooch or was she handed a pre-screwed pooch to begin with when she got pinned with the badge as America's top cop? And depending upon what happens in Iran as well as the midterms, when It comes time for this President to depart the Oval Office come late January of 2029, we may very well be asking the very same question. As the saying goes "Personnel is Policy," and especially in his first term, President Trump made some horrible choices for his cabinet and other key advisors. To his credit, Hegseth, Rubio and Zeldin have been outstanding, and I envision the first two as potential if not likely presidential candidates, if not in 2028 then certainly 2030 and beyond.

Moving on to the immigration situation, as CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast linked here as well as in the sidebar and on the popular platforms listed at the bottom of the post,

we were talking about the complete bastardization of the 14th amendment vis a vis birthright citizenship for the spawn of illegal aliens and other non-citizens who intentionally or otherwise give birth on our territory and then voila, instant American!

In that vein, we have a story that might otherwise fly under the radar but for its implications in the broader immigration debate as it pertains to our national security and identity, both of which are interrelated because when you lack the latter you lose the former and vice versa.

“There’s a high bar to denaturalization.”
There isn’t really. We mostly choose not to pursue denaturalization. Yes, past Supreme Court decisions have made denaturalization more difficult than it was ever meant to be, but mostly we don’t even try.
Here’s what happens when we do try.
. . . “Gaining citizenship after committing serious crimes against the American people is an unacceptable abuse of our immigration system,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “These latest denaturalizations illustrate this Department of Justice’s focus on ensuring that citizenship remains a privilege to obtain, not a right to abuse.”
That’s the important precedent being set here.
The actions of the two spies were not even extraordinary. Sadly a huge chunk of Chinese Communist ‘students’ and ‘researchers’ operating in the United States are doing the exact same things.

For decades, the Chi-Coms in particular have been actively promoting so-called "birth tourism" sending pregnant Chinese women to America for the specific purpose of giving birth here so that their little bastards can become automatic citizens and then ultimately Red Chinese agents, actively working to undermine us from within via espionage/sabotage as and when directed or merely to vote en masse as a bloc to influence our elections by putting in office leftist traitors.

And so with the above, it perhaps puts the tenure of Pam Bondi as AG in a bit more flattering light. And if we are willing to denaturalize those who abrogated their oath of citizenship by betraying us then perhaps we can do this en masse to however many thousands of Somalis, Afghanis, and other third-world turncoats who never had any intention of assimilating but of at a minimum being leeches and at worst, fifth columnists.

So, fare thee well Pam Bondi and thank you for this and laying the groundwork for more of this. Hopefully your successor will do exactly this.

Swalwell and his wife, Brittany, made an average income of more than $444,000 from 2021 to 2024, which included cash-raising moves such as drawing down retirement accounts, delaying federal tax payments, and spending on child care with campaign funds, according to tax returns and campaign finance filings, the Sacramento Bee reported.
The Swalwells' income puts them in the top 5% of households in Washington, D.C., where the couple owns a $1.2 million home, in addition to the congressman renting a room in Livermore, Calif., owned by another family.

Lest we forget his consorting and cavorting with a known Red Chinese Spy Fang-Fang which earned him the nickname Yum Yum during a Congressional hearing last year but considering who she is and works for, makes it not a matter for levity.

Denaturalizing immigrant fraudsters like the aforementioned and please God BRO-FO OMAR and her ilk is one thing.

Treason trials for Swalwell and everyone like him should also be a priority, if not a pipedream.

To actively manage a department, you have to a) have reliable undersecretaries in place, b) familiarity with the department without being captured by the swamp c) a willingness to be the president's enforcer on lower level employees and force them out if they are not doing what they should be doing.

State officials made into secretaries of departments are outsiders but then often have to fight a hostile bureaucracy and sometimes their own underlings. Many, like Trump's first EPA director in term 1, get destroyed early on by a Democrat bureaucracy. Others just go native to keep their permanent DC ties and opportunities like Mark Esper.

DoJ is particularly dysfunctional for the GOP as lawyers nowadays are predominately of the left from law school, undergraduate, social networks, and temperament. So every GOP DoJ appointee, unless acceptable aka moderate left to the lawyer bureaucrats, is far right wing. Hard to get GOP conservative change agents as DAs in place.

The center to DC corruption is the Senate. That is why the base voters of the GOP cannot have good things. And they protect themselves purposefully by putting in their cronies in as District Attorneys in the State and District Court judges. One way to do that is to let the Dems do a number on any GOP nominee that threatens the grift, the second is to simply use procedural matters like the idiotic and anti constitutional blue slip policy to deny the President the ability to appoint the district attorneys that they want. Blue slip was adopted by the Dems back in Woodrow Wilson's term to screen out any politician that wanted desegregate the South and yet Grassley views it as sacrosanct despite the wavering rule.

Then you have the evil hold system where one Senator can put a 'hold' on any or all nominees to prevent voting.

Well, the first season (and a lot of the second) was kind of more Roddenberry's Dream for how the show should be. The thing is, it sucked (not as bad as modern iterations.) He always decried how the network and others messed with his vision- but they reigned in and made stuff great from his concept in spite of him.

The tapes were insurance.

An odd thing about TWWW: I believe every episode was named "The Night of the (fill in the blank)." And by my recollection, a lot of the scenes were at night or in relatively dark underground (studio sets) fortresses, dungeons, caverns, tunnels, or labs of the villain of the week. Outdoors/daytime scenes were filmed on studio lots and in studio Western towns, or were canned shots of the train, etc., used over and over again. Cost-efficient!

I loved watching TWWW during its prime time-run. But I find watching reruns nowadays a bore.

Problem is most 'crimes' are not on videotape like Jan6 nor are in the rotten borough of DC which is refusing to allow Democrats to be convicted.

It is far more difficult to bring federal cases than most people think based on Jan 6 because you have to have federal grand juries willing to indict.

Most of the charges in DC also were a result of defendants initially being arrested by information (aka not a grand jury) for offenses with less than a year and then getting upgraded by grand jury superceding indictments in a lot of cases. And that allowed Garland's henchmen to stack the DC and federal prisons with poor Jan 6ers waiting for a trial. Many then had to plead out as the courts deliberately delayed and stalled trial dates, etc.

DC has become a rotten jurisdiction that protects Democrats and persecutes GOP and other enemies of the permanent state. Spreading to MD and VA too now

You can read the documents yourself but never figure you get from the media what is in them. And while I think Epstein certainly had intel and law enforcement connections, I think he was more an informant like Whitey Bulger than an agent for anyone. There is a huge floating group of people that intel can tap for specific information that are not agents nor even handlers. If you read the JFK or RFK files, you will see how it works. First of all, the AG doesn't arrest people, the FBI or local law enforcement do. The FBI, which still hasn't been completely purged of traitors, or local law enforcement, which won't work with the Trump Administration.

In order to arrest someone, you need a warrant. Either a warrant signed by a judge, no problem there, the federal judiciary is falling all over themselves to accommodate the Trump Administration, or one issued by a Grand Jury. A Grand Jury convened and addressed by holdover career lawyers who were in place during the Biden Administration because the Senate won't confirm Trump's appointees.

Garland was dealing with 'crimes' committed in DC. With DC judges and DC juries. That's why he could do what he did with the J6 people. We do not have the luxury.

Billionaires have the money to hire what they want without dealing with Epstein and worrying about him dangling it over them. For Epstein then, it makes sense for him to use them as alluded to in Leon Black emails, as a subtle reminder not to mess with him (insurance from being prosecuted). Wexner, for example, severed relations with him after catching Epstein stealing from him (his wife took over some of the finances and discovered it).

I think Epstein gathered info for financial dealings as much as anything and the informant issue was to ensure being protected. For example, his friendship with Plaskett or Richardson can be explained by where his operations were located. With Clinton, for prestige. But Matt Groening on Air Epstein? has to be for name dropping and perhaps a financial client--certainly not actionable intelligence.

427 I've been willing to cut Bondi some slack in her lack of prosecutions because she isn't a Democrat. We've seen time and time again how folks sporting a "D" after their name can get into any court they choose to, get heard on any topic they care to raise, and secure injunctions for the asking. Meanwhile, with an "R" it is nearly impossible to get into court (lack of standing) before an impartial judge to get your testimony heard.

She has to know, as do we all, that no matter what the GOP brings, assuming it can even get it into a court, it will be knee-jerk ruled against, and must ALWAYS be ready to taken to appeal. Multiple times.

So, yeah, I cut her some slack in having so few prosecutions in this first Year of Trump. She has other problems, for which she should be dismissed, but could any Trump nominee have done better in securing prosecutions?
