It was clearly illegal. They enumerated their illegal acts on camera as evidence. Sounds like a typical setup for a legal challenge, which I guess they think they'll win and set some kind of precedence.

I think the idea is, they do this, the current admin takes us to court, the commies win everything in '28, then the commie court settles and they set precedence.

I disagree on 'pointless'. He has alpha physiognomy. Always target your enemies' alpha males first. Take out the natural leaders, and the ones that are forced to step up will be more likely to crack under pressure, in a failure cascade.

No helmets or pads and sometimes no shoes. Then someone always had to go first. That sometimes ended up with a nasty injury. We’d all haul ass and deny we knew anything. Our bikes were a bit different and not quite as forgiving. Fun times indeed.

But deflection helps! But also, deflecting is often very very painful when you body and bones and squishy parts do the deflectin'. So you would really want something else to handle the majority of the deflecting. And even then it only helps linearly. Kind of hard to offset the **2 for velocity.

As I recall, it was the first of the JB novels I ever read straight through when I was about eleven. Earlier I'd mostly read the action scenes, like Bond's crawling trip through the tunnel of dangers in Doctor No. But I sat myself down that summer and read GF straight through. I didn't know what a lesbian was, but otherwise I understood and enjoyed it.

And...the fascinating thing about this line of thought is that it ignores college facilities/labor costs money. There isn't a bill for college because someone is doing something bad to you, there is a bill for college because you are using goods and services from others, and you shouldn't be able to force others to do labor on your behalf.

If we were to come up with a better analogy, making a new college student pay for college after you paid for your own is liking making that new college student cook his dinner instead of being forced to cook both his and your own.

Not that college prices shouldn't come down - prices could easily be halved across the board with no loss in the already questionable quality with a few common sense reforms

I had to replace the battery in my wife's 2020 Explorer ST. Two years ago, during winter, it would lose the ability to start the SUV. No grinding, it just would not start and the vehicle would flash all sorts of lights on the dash.

It's an AGM type... "absorbent glass-mat." Prone to this sort of thing when the weather's cold and the battery is "old."

Pricey.

There are some nifty devices called “conductance testers” that do a pretty good job at sniffing out bad batts. A lot of places use them for warranty return testing.

A classic load test, something the drones no longer can do, is still the true test really. I’m always amazed at how much things change they stay the same. Auto shop manuals from the 1920s have all the exact same stuff in them. Modern cars just have a big layer of electronics and sensors and gew-gaws in the mix.

In the old days the gauge would measure the battery at start and during use. If one watched the gauge at every start a difference in time to reach charge or put under different loads, subtleties/changes in behavior could be noticed.
Today, the gauge may as well not be there.

There are digital voltage gauges that plug into the “cigar lighter” or charging port. These should work pretty well for monitoring system voltage in real time.

I grew up in MD in the County of Prince George. Three hours west we would be camping in the mountains. Two hours east we were on the ocean. Up to Bal'mer for great food (crabs). How I hate those Dem's that destroyed that state. Hate them.
