The Morning Report — 3/27/26

PoohPoohChina.jpg

Good morning kids. Well, there are foreign invaders of the illegal alien variety and then there are foreign invaders!

Was there just an attempt to carry out a mass casualty attack at CENTCOM headquarters?

MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida is where the headquarters of CENTCOM, the United States Central Command are located. CENTCOM oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, Central Asia, and some areas of South Asia, and that means that it is involved in U.S. actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Recently, an improvised explosive device was discovered outside a gate at MacDill; it didn’t go off, but if it had, the damage could have been extensive. Was someone targeting CENTCOM? And if so, who?The more one examines this story, the more questions multiply. . . It all started on March 10, when “a 911 call warned of a bomb near the base’s visitor center. At the time, no device had been located.” Who made the call? No one knew at the time, but it turned out to be Alen Zheng, using a burner phone he bought at Best Buy. He apparently made the call in the hope of terrorizingthe people at MacDill. At the time of the call itself, however, no one at MacDill appeared to be particularly concerned about it, as nothing was found, and the people on the base went about their business. . .Were the Zhengs acting alone, out of some personal animus, or were they agents of the Chinese Communist government? Was this an attempt to disrupt CENTCOM’s operations, or just a couple of leftist nuts acting upon their hatred of the United States? If the People’s Republic was behind it, there are all sorts of reasons to downplay the incident at this time, but will any response be made? Could we at least get that program to bring over 500,000 Chinese nationals canceled?

Heaven forfend, lest we be accused of resurrecting the "Yellow Peril" tropes of the 19th century.

Too late, Tom Cotton went there!

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) compared President Ronald Reagan’s characterization of the Soviet Union to the reality of modern-day China, telling Breitbart News that the country is an “evil empire” and calling President Xi Jinping a “Marxist.” . . . China’s infamous Belt and Road Initiative “is just an example of how they’re trying to extend Communist Chinese influence around the world,” Cotton added.

NB there are several other stories in the links about Chi-Com subversion obviously all interrelated to this one.

Modern China, which aside from the trappings of 21st century technology like Islam has always had a toxic mix of imperialism and xenophbia that drives its ambitions not only to control those within its sphere of influence by keeping foreign ideas and cultures at bay by every means at their disposal, from massive walls to genocide and wars of conquest fought with both armies and by subversion.

If only Truman nuked Beijing the moment the PLA crossed the Yalu River way back when, or let MacArthur Go all the way instead of sacking him. Oh well, here we are 70 odd years later.

The Chinese Communist Party have in many ways far exceeded their Russian Soviet mentors and role models in this regard. Both combined have over the past century degraded our own society to the point where we are forced to endure this kind of insanity:

Over the last few years, we have seen how American universities have been shifting into a rhetoric that not only accepts “Death to America,” but is openly chanting the same slogans of the oppressive regime . . . When professors, like Samer Alatout, and academic figures use their authority to defend or legitimize the Islamic Republic of Iran, they are reinforcing the narrative of a regime defined by repression, executions, support for militant groups, and decades of promoting “Death to America.” . . . The question facing universities is not whether professors are allowed to express political views. Academic freedom protects that right. The deeper concern is what happens after students leave the classroom. When narratives promoted by professors begin to mirror the messaging of an authoritarian regime that openly calls for America’s destruction, those ideas do not remain confined to campus debates.

Let's be clear. Academia, the so-called cultural elite, the Left and the Democrat Party are not merely against our attacking Iran. They have been collectively and continually shrieking "Death to America" in both word and deed for nearly 200 years. They hate America, its history, heritage, culture and people as much if not more than the Mullahs.

And speaking of which and shifting gears, as CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast, linked here and in the sidebar as well as the popular outlets listed below, things are getting muddled in Iran vis a vis what our final objective is or should be.

And as we both have stated and written many many times, US boots on the ground is to say the very least not a good idea, and yet the 82nd Airborne and possibly many more are on their way to the Middle East. Could be kharg Island or perhaps somewhere else as this latest development suggests:

Yemen’s Houthi rebels said Thursday that they are ready to stand with Iran against the US and Israel, threatening to open a new front along the Red Sea that serves as a key global trade route. The Iran-backed terror group said that it would be ready to enter the fight at a moment’s notice following Tehran’s warning that the war could spread to the Bab al-Mandab Strait if the US launches a ground invasion. “We stand fully militarily ready with all options,” a Houthi leader told Reuters, suggesting the rebel group was in direct coordination with Iran.

Yikes.

Have a great weekend!

17 The cases are strikingly similar: a promising young woman with her whole life ahead of her is dead, the suspect is an illegal immigrant, and Democrats will point the finger at everyone but themselves.

Democrats believe that their philosophy is perfect and beautiful. Every time proof is offered at the damage being done from it only gets them to double down. Unfortunately, we have to live with the end results.

20 Has AoSHQ moved to the center?

Also, in addition to the CENTCOM attempted bombing - the B-52 air base in Louisiana was swarmed by drones that are beyond the technological capability of Iran to deploy. Yet nobody is talking about it. The operations at the base had to be suspended.

The tools are readily available for drone defense - I don't know why more emphasis hasn't been put on it. There's a mobile deployable system that uses airburst Bushmaster cannon rounds to neutralize drone swarms thats already proven - why they're not ubiquitously installed is beyond me.

I know a woman who took her teenage son to a therapist because the boy was having a rough time. He made a joking remark about being as emotional as a girl about certain things.

I again advocate for CENTCOM planners to look at 6 bomb lines on the Houthi capital.

Use B-52 and inexpensive (and indiscriminate) gravity bombs, make each bomb line part of a triangle. Use two triangles, with points opposed. Put the Star of David in bomb damage lines on the capital.

Is it time to ban ALL military flight exercises from incroaching on civilian airports?

A better ban would be to limit to non-civilian flight hours (aka 12am-5am)...b/c some of those routes might be needed in an emergency.

Of course I'm not a lawyer they always make things complicated

72 Personally, I'm not all that surprised that there are purported "terrorist" attack attempts here. During *biden's reign thousands of Middle Eastern and Chinese single men were observed crossing, illegally, the wide open southern border.

AFAIK not one was vetted. Not one was tracked. Not one's whereabouts are currently known.

People will downplay this as a low level, low possibility threat. Until it's not.

79 On the Senate bill, Dems gave in...
NBC4.com

"Senators worked through the night on the deal that would fund much of the rest of the department, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Coast Guard and TSA, but without funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Customs was funded, but Border Protection was not.

The package puts no new limits on immigration enforcement, which has remained largely uninterrupted by the shutdown. The GOP’s big tax cuts bill that Trump signed into law last year funneled billions in extra funds to DHS, including $75 billion for ICE operations, ensuring the immigration officers are still being paid despite the lapse."

Why should I pay for your security at the airport even though I'm not flying?

And why is a federal agency required? Is there magic detection ability in their brass badge?

Airline can run KYC through the federal database pre-purchase, the ticket QR code can embed link to that biometrics that pulls up when scanned. Facial and pattern recognition AI to track you through the airport from check in.
Zero lines. Zero security needed.

After we parked the car, the ever-cautious Mrs. F. asked one of the elderly Italo-American gentlemen seated nearby on their lawn chairs, "is it safe to park here?"

He considered briefly, then wagged his finger at her, "Lady, no one bothers the cars in this neighborhood."

161 Democrats folded because Trump’s move fully funded TSA and gave Democrats zero.

They ended up getting a separate budget conversation on funding ICE and CBP, which they want to shut down because it is deporting their voters. BTW Republicans agreed to do that some time ago. But Democrats kept pressing for more.

ICE and CBP will continue to operate for years because they are fully funded.

Under Biden Democrats helped millions of illegal aliens invaded our country, steal taxpayer money and defraud the government. Did you really think they would let the invaders and criminal get deported without a fight?

Now Democrats get to stand up and defend illegal aliens for the midterms.

Most people I know have no idea what's going on outside what they hear from mainstream sources. They think this talk of Color Revolutions is a crazy conspiracy theory and USAID was used to feed orphans in Africa.

USAID was a laundromat used to siphon our tax dollars into organizations both foreign and domestic to work hand in hand with the deep state and uniparty politicians to carry out missions that supported their preferred policies and attacked anyone like Trump who opposed them. Gutting that corrupt organization was a huge blow to them but they are far from dead. All these anti-ICE protests are professionally funded and organized just like BLM and antifa.

The most disturbing part is their partnership with scumbags like Neville Singham who is a marxist in league with the CCP. And it's all real.

The best I ever saw was about 16 or so on the highway. Auto transmission, though. At .55/gal. in those days, that wasn't too bad.

It had power steering, but not power brakes. It didn't matter much, as the ca. 100-hp car was not going to need heavy braking, and it didn't. The radio was only AM; I bought a Pioneer Supertuner with cassette player and had it put in *under* the dash, like that big circular plotter Sulu had at the helm of the Enterprise.

I’m watching Democrats try to spin this as a win. It’s hilarious. For weeks they put people through immense stress and pain in TSA lines. They said that was necessary to win on this issue.

The issue? Protecting illegal aliens from deportation. Yeah thats a winner.

Then when Trump finally had enough, they folded like a cheap suit. Their entire list of demands went out the window.

Fully staffed and all checks openn.
Posted by: GigantorX at March 27, 2026 08:25 AM (x8k2o)

Have flown twice in the past month. Once to DC, once to Orlando - both from my little regional airport in Portland ME.

In my airport, there were absolutely no lines for Precheck.
DC there was 3 people in front of me in the Precheck line.
Orlando last week there was that sh*t show of a storm that blew through the east coast and canceled everything the day I was supposed to fly, so Wednesday morning at 430AM (I had to stay in the airport two days) I was in a 10 minute line at Precheck. The normal line at B terminal was a mile long at least.

I simply don't understand why people don't get Precheck. Its ridiculously easy hoop to jump through, you don't have to do all of the bullsh*t with the body scanners (can't remember the last time I had to do that) can leave your shoes on, your laptops in their bags and just walk through the metal detector. Thats in addition to the shorter lines.

I barely speak about politics with anyone because 99+% have no idea what they are talking about.

The best way I can explain it, and I'm not trying to be an asshole, is the feeling you get when you know a group of people are talking about football or something and it's obvious that someone is kind of playing along. It's ok not to know but pretending is just embarrassing for everyone. The key difference is that in politics people never see it. They seem to think an opinion is all that matters regardless of actual knowledge.

240 One of the first and most important steps in regime change or control without military is control of the narratives. That's why the deep state started years ago partnering and leaking to the media. That's how you get garbage media like The Economist claiming that despite the US and Israel laying waste to Iran and no dictating terms of surrender really means Trump is losing. And no matter how absurd it is a very large number of people will go along with it.

242 The Maverick was intended to be Ford's replacement for the outgoing Falcon, and in fact the chassis was probably the same. It was also intended to be a fairly simple car that owners could work on themselves. I changed the oil multiple times (the old 3K mile change then), changed the coolant and once an upper radiator hose, the fuel filter (which screwed into the carburetor), the air filter, all those things.

The four-door to me looked like a four-door Mustang -- which was also probably Ford's intention.

286 I had a friend who had an early Maverick. He got a load of bad gas, which caused the engine to excite a resonance in the car's suspension, and caused the car to hop down the road like a bucking bronco. I've never seen anything like it since.

302 227 I thought that was very interesting. ... "No Kings" ..

A big part of No Kings is Anti ICE, maybe all of it.
..

ALL of it is cointelpro Palantir id'ing the non-paid fools, agitators and joiners so that they can be rolled up like a line of ants with a piece of scotch tape.

LIB's proudly do unto their own people precisely what they forbid us to do to our adversaries... NO MORE.

All these NO KINGs people, Iranian street celebrators, do you really think they know what-it-takes to run a country, let alone the world?

It should be intuitively obvious China can't invade Taiwan without Iran/Oil but definitely WILL mine the strait immediately after Trump takes Kharg Island (the neutron-bomb nuclear way or not) if-and-only-if Hegseth fully deploys fully effect ASW (anti-submarine warfare) to destroy the remaining Iranian 30 mini-subs, and mine deploying trawlers (an extra 6 neutron bombs would take care of them too), but effective ASW will forever close the window on China's annexing of Tawain

intuitively obvious that once this happens Zelensky is toast, because Russia will do the same thing, and NoodleHeadedMacron won't prevail against Russia any more than Napoleon

forWAR'd!

The majority of people are incapable of comprehending that everthing is not "just a matter of opinion". This include most judges, especially those who not biologists.
