Dems had an offer on the table to carve out ICE's removal operations, and fund everything else within DHS, and they are saying no. They are demanding ICE reforms for an agency they aren't going to fund. GOP saying no. And the shutdown continues - now on day 40.

TSA line wait times at Houston Hobby Airport (mostly a Southwest hub these days) have been less than 10 minutes all day long, so far this week. That's good because I'm flying out of Hobby tomorrow.
At the much larger Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport, wait times on Monday were four hours most of the day. Today that's been cut in half. Why? I don't know. Why longer wait lines than at Hobby Airport? I don't know.

Utah is having the same problem everyone else is having with politicians from both parties in every state.

I just wrapped up two weeks of driving all over the lower 48 from coast to coast.
There is no way in hell we're avoiding a civil war or balkanization. None. Nada. No fucking way.
In half the stops for gas/food we were the only english speakers present. We saw a ton of african and muslim refugees in the most ridiculous small town places. The sheer volume of foreigners and the resulting third-world enshittification is just mind boggling; Biden's invasion might actually be understated by quite a bit.
Also spotted: a very noticeable uptick in the number of freaks basically everywhere.
As I keep saying, when the damn breaks it's going to be the sort of thing people flip past in history books two thousand years from now and wince.

In theory, the tax exemption of churches was to help keep them independent from government pressure, and because churches do a lot of the stuff that government would or could do, saving money from the government.
I'm not saying I agree, since the tax exemption depends on government approval, so its being manipulated anyway, but that was the theory.

I omitted the above list. However, take note that TB is a serious disease that is transmitted through the air from person to person. Physical containment and treatment is highly specialized, as is the protection and training of all medical personnel who treat and monitor TB cases.

Illegal aliens are "responsible" for following the law. Government Representatives are "responsible" for representing the legal residents of their constituency. Those ignoring their "responsibilities" are, ultimately "responsible" for what happens next to both factions.
