Revealed: Joe Kent Kicked Off the Entire Candace Owens Project to Attack Erika Kirk and Claim the Jews Killed Charlie Kirk

So here's the story as alleged: A TPUSA employee named Andrew Kolvet says he wanted to leave no stone unturned in the search for Charlie Kirk's killer. This was in the early hours after the murder, before police discovered the rifle with Tyler Robinson's fingerprints on it, and his texts telling his gay furry lover he was going to do something wonderful. Kolvet knew Joe Kent. He passed to Kent some private DMs of Charlie Kirk -- if I have this right -- complaining that one Jewish donor had stopped funding TPUSA because he didn't like the organization platforming confirmed antisemitic monsters Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. Kovet's idea -- stupid from the start -- was apparently that maybe this Jewish donor might have killed Charlie Kirk. Kolvet claims he never believed this, but that he wanted to make sure every possible avenue of investigation was open. It's silly, but I'm sure he wasn't thinking quite straight in the hours after his friend was murdered. He trusted that Joe Kent would act like a responsible government official in handling the texts in a responsible, official way. Instead, antisemtic Nazi conspiracy theorist Joe Kent began demanding that Kolvet make the chats public. Kent wasn't investigating the texts; he was trying to create a podcaster "investigation" and public witch-hunt. Even after the assassin's identity was known to everyone who isn't a Jew-hating psychotic. Kolvett refused to make the chats public, because he says he didn't want innocent parties baselessly accused. Especially given that the killer was now known and was not a disappointed Jewish donor but a radical left-wing gay furry sodomite. And then just a week or two later, Candace Owens starts talking about the chats and Tucker Carlson can't stop talking about them, either. Later, Owens actually publishes them. Kovett's conclusion is -- and it seems hard to doubt -- that Joe Kent was a determined conspiracy theorist who could not let go of the idea that Jews Killed Charlie Kirk, even after the proof emerged that the killer was a non-Jewish furry-fucker. And after Kolvett repeatedly refused to make the chats public, Kent gave them to Candace Owens (and probably Tucker Carlson too, although Owens could have given them to Carlson). Note that Joe Kent was a government official and ostensibly a high-ranking counter-terrorism official, but decided to leak private DMs he had been given in his capacity as government official to an extremely unreliable and toxic internet personality. That might be a crime. I don't know. The texts weren't classified but they were sensitive personal information given to a public official for purposes of an official government investigation -- not to leak to a hair-on-fire lunatic podcaster. It is definitely a fireable offense, whether or not a criminal one. And I wonder if it might be the subject of a lawsuit by TPUSA and Erika Kirk, who have been absolutely brutalized due to Joe Kent's leaking to the maniacal conspiracy theorist and defamer Candace Owens. And now Joe Kent announces that he will testify on behalf of Charlie Kirk's actual murderer Tyler Robinson and tell the jury that no, the Jews did it, let this innocent patsy-of-the-Jews free.

Any time a fact is brought up that contradicts their theory, they conspiracy nut will find a way to fit the fact into their worldview, rather than adjusting their worldview to align with objective reality.
Grifters, who make their living peddling conspiracy theories, are even less receptive to objective reality interfering with their grift.

There are several other podcasters with large followings, such as Shawn Ryan, who were immediately suspicious of the Kirk shooting details. They have large audiences and are not necessarily associated with Owens or Carlson.
Some medium-sized podcasters are also not entirely on board with the official findings. Robert O'Neill comes to mind.
I'm pointing out that there are others, not related in any way to Carlson or Owens, who have legitimate questions.
My take? I'm just terribly sad we lost a really impressive representative for America and Christianity.

One, Joe Kent is not an FBI official or a police detective or any kind of investigator of crimes. Why Kolvet gave him this info, who knows. Second, investigators often release bits of info or evidence to the public if they believe they have a reason to do so. There isn't some sacred of duty of confidentiality on the part of the government if you give information to an official investigating a crime.
Also just because the killer has been conclusively identified doesn't mean the investigation should stop, because he might have been part of a conspiracy.
But more to the point, there is a fight among his supporters and backers to determine where Charlie Kirk stood regarding support for Israel at the time he was killed. Both sides are publicly arguing for their position and there is nothing wrong with that.
Anyway, one of the biggest issues that has gotten swept under the rug is the incredible amount of brain-damaging drugs the gay furry and the shooter and their circle of friends were into. Turkey Tom on YouTube did an eye-opening expose on this back in October using discord chats but it fell into a black hole.

Some conspiracy theories are easily proven false: like the flat Earth hypothesis. Look to Aristotle’s observation that the Earth’s shadow on the Moon during a lunar eclipse was always a circle. There is only one three dimensional shape that always casts a circular shadow and that’s a sphere. Known two and a half millennia ago. Next step up is grocentrism, or the Ptolemaic system vs. Copernican heliocentrism. In the form Copernicus presented it his heliocentric system was less accurate than the Ptolemaic system (mostly because he used circular orbits). But it was much simpler than the Ptolemaic system: because of retrograde motion of planets like Mars, the Ptolemaic system had orbits that resembled the kind of figures you get using a Spirograph kit. The simplicity was so appealing that people like Kepler kept working with heliocentrism until they got it to work better than geocentrism: Kepler’s three laws turn out to be predictable by Newtonian gravity and Newtonian mechanics. Even Newtonian physics was imperfect: the drift in the perihelion of Mercury (some 42 arc seconds per Earth century) could only be explained by special and general relativity.

Always be trying to refine your understanding with the simplest possible explanation that is compatible with the known facts. Some people in my church want to use a geocentric explanation of solar system celestial mechanics because it makes their interpretation of certain passages in the Bible simpler. You can go geocentric if you want to under general relativity, but you give up the simpler orbits of the heliocentric model for the horrendously complicated orbits of the Ptolemaic system. I agree with Augustine of Hippo: you shouldn’t insist on an interpretation of the Bible that makes a pagan laugh at your understanding of nature when there is an interpretation that is in accord with both Scripture (special revelation) and what we observe and measure in nature (general revelation).
