You Don't Hate the Media Enough: The Same Media That Claimed Biden Was Sharp as a Tack Now Claims That Trump's Aides Hide How Badly the War is Going From Him

bideneasterbunnyflashback.jpg
Flashback: Biden meets with his Secretary of Covert Egg Deployment

NBC "News," which totally has tip-top sources close to Donald Trump, claims that aides have to hide the actual state of the war from Trump and only show him a highlight reel of successful bombings/missile strikes to make him happy, because he's retarded at an atomic level. And he just doesn't understand why people don't understand how well the war is going -- because his aides hide the awful truth from this senile moron.

The public does not in fact know how well the war is going, because the media only reports false claims from Iran PR officers, because they know their audience consists entirely of Retarded At An Atomic Level shitlibs who would freak if they knew the war was going well.

Sooooo... I guess half-credit to NBC for getting the gist of the disconnect right?

Ed Morrissey:

Somehow, the president who did all of this in less than a month is being isolated and misled by his aides, according to NBC News:

Each day since the start of the war in Iran, U.S. military officials compile a video update for President Donald Trump that shows video of the biggest, most successful strikes on Iranian targets over the previous 48 hours, three current U.S. officials and a former U.S. official said.

The daily montage typically runs for about two minutes, sometimes longer, the officials said. One described each daily video as a series of clips of "stuff blowing up."

The highlight reel of U.S. Central Command bombing Iranian equipment and military sites isn't the only briefing Trump gets about the war. He's also updated through conversations with top military and intelligence advisers, foreign leaders and news reports, the officials said.

But the video briefing is fueling concerns among some of Trump's allies that he may not be receiving -- or absorbing -- the complete picture of the war, now in its fourth week, two of the current officials and the former official said.

Note that the media just accepted the claims of Iran's PR ministers that they are not begging for a cease-fire and Trump is a big fat liar -- only to have to admit 48 hours later that they had been water-carriers for Iran yet again, and that Trump was telling the truth.

...

Trump made the Protection Racket Media look like a bunch of saps. Even worse, it exposed the US media industry as being invested in America's failure if it also carries an opportunity to damage Trump. Having been exposed as water-carriers for the IRGC, now NBC wants to deflect from that revelation by painting Trump as somehow disengaged, isolated, and uninformed, which might just be the biggest case of projection since Thomas Edison invented the motion-picture industry.

The most stunning part of this new narrative is its transplantation, root and branch, from the actual reality of Joe Biden's presidency and the media's role in covering it up.

Iran's totally winning you guys. That's why the family members of the Regime are fleeing to Russia and Afghanistan -- they're so beautiful this time of year -- and Basij "Morality" Police are refusing to man their checkpoints.

Meanwhile, NPR is shocked to discover that Iranians support the American/Israeli airstrikes and know far, far more people killed by Regime thugs than by the airstrikes.

Lebanon, a country which has been forced into endless war it does not want due to Syria's and Iran's sponsoring of terrorist armies in the Shi'a south, finally says: "Enough."

Iran isn't powerful enough to bully them any longer.

It's a strange thing - The MSM informs us that Iran had a brilliant pre-conflict contingency plan for 16(?) commanders to act independently in case the US took out their national leadership and the communication nets.

Now we are being told to believe that there is a central authority speaking for the entire country. This is based on pre-recorded video posted on the internet.

Including cardboard-cutouts with photographs taped to the cardboard.

I wonder how many of those possibly "independent" commanders are ready to deal? Give them a deadline?

2. The establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure that the war is not reimposed on the Islamic Republic.

3. Guaranteed and clearly defined payment of war damages and reparations.

The "closure" is a side-sanction on the West-allied Gulf states as long as it lasts.
This calculus could change as long as IRGC personnel keep, uh, getting killed before they can enjoy their new wealth. And if Iran loses more materiel to allied strikes.

83 69 NBC isn't wrong. Iran is totally winning this war.

We righties are just too stupid to understand the way to win a war is to have all your leaders vaporized, your military decimated, foreign intelligence so deep inside your regime its crawling up your colon, and your one-legged, ball-less HGFIC in a coma or probably dead.

See, you stupid righty dum-dums? Iran is totally winning.

Posted by: Elric The Blade at March 25, 2026 02:51 PM (iFTx/)

Well, duh.

It was their plan all along to have the top 5 levels of command of the military, theocratic, and civic leadership murdered by drones and missiles in a couple of weeks.

That's why they splintered and individual pockets of resistance are still firing missiles: because it was planned this way!

That couldn't have happened without a plan!

88 Right. I can imagine Sec Hegseth making up videos in his spare time, cutting/pasting, lying.

I doubt this side of of the story, NBC, you pathetic buffoons.

I've noticed since the 2024 victory, reddit and others (who have no imagaination whatsoever) are using the true stuff about Biden: his dementia, his health, etc to throw at Trump. Right, right, right. Sure.

If I did not despise reddit and MSM so much I'd almost feel sorry for their lack of original ideas.

They don't know any more than I do what is going on with the Iranian war. I simply pray to God that it will be over when it's over (and impossible for them to build up nuke stuff again).Prayers for our military.

I think President Trump is playing diplomacy with the inbreds. They then conclave to see who is in charge, go jihad with each other, and get bombed, but send out their insane 5 Point Surrender Monkey statement before becoming red mist. Rinse. Repeat.

Meanwhile, the USA and Israel are working as planned to eradicate these barbarians.

65 One problem with the Hormuz "closure" is that tankers are paying tolls to the IRGC to get through without getting droned. That profits the IRGC and also Russia.
The "closure" is a side-sanction on the West-allied Gulf states as long as it lasts.
This calculus could change as long as IRGC personnel keep, uh, getting killed before they can enjoy their new wealth. And if Iran loses more materiel to allied strikes.

I think it's even smarter than it appears on first blush. The UK has had an inordinate amount of control over worldwide shipping because of the dominant position Lloyd's has held in maritime insurance for many decades. All they had to do in this case was threaten to cancel insurance of tankers transiting the Strait and ground things to a halt.

Lossing that monoply long term would be a huge blow to the UK's global power.

CNN - war coverage, not too bad. When they get the talking heads going though they wonder about end game, why the strait wasn't protected, gas prices, etc

MS Now - they actually surprised me a few times. But talking heads have referred to President Trump as an idiot, selfish, unprepared, etc.

232 Compared to the "cannon fodder"-style of war -- think the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and even the Vietnam War -- in which waves and waves of young Americans were mowed down -- this kind of antiseptic war with near-zero or minimal US casualties is like a miracle. People forget what a REAL war is like, with hundreds of thousands or millions dead. All this war is costing us is $$$, of which we have more than enough.

Even if nothing more happens, this war is already a resounding (and necessary) success. Yes, we're hoping for the cherry on top -- regime toppled -- but "regime crippled" is also an acceptable result.

The Iranians are reduced to attacking civilian areas because their accuracy is not good enough anymore to go after military targets. So they simply spray missiles and drones everywhere including their putative allies like Oman.

Not a winning strategy as Ace noted above, even Lebanon got a missile/drone hit in a residential area. I think all command and control links are severed and whoever is left in these autonomous IRGC districts is simply shooting what they have wherever they can or they risk losing it.

I image the elimination of high value targets has gone done because the survivors have gotten very good at hiding out; I've heard that a couple of them are now staying full time deep inside a couple of Tehran's largest hospitals, confident that those are at least one thing we won't bomb.

And don't worry about backing off the plan to blow up power plants - that was a good threat, but a terrible idea to actually implement. Would have hurt the opposition more than it would hurt the regime, which wants everyone to suffer at American hands.

My guess is a military dictatorship of some kind with a fake civilian government. Basically the same setup as today but without the IRGC in the driver seat but possibly the Regular Army.

High risk though for a civil war as the public in Iran probably wants payback for the thousands of lives lost to the IRGC and their mullah supporters. That makes the command level of IRGC as dead enders. Dunno about the lower ranks but like TSA screeners, I suspect they will start to melt away with no pay.

There is a lot that could still create a bad day for somebody. And it’s not just civilians. They have been walking in their strikes on certain targets and refining the overall targeting processes. Some Marxist who takes control of Iran, who watched the US and Israel completely destroy the military, civic, and religious infrastructure of a giant nation in the matter of weeks will fear us.

Especially when they realize that Israel is the real hegemon of the region and has agreements with most of the countries around them.

Here's what I don't understand:

The Muslim fundamentalists on their own didn't have the oomph to overthrow SAVAK and the Shah in the late '70s, so they agreed to a coalition with the Iranian communists, and combined, their tow forces/ideologies -- communism, and fundamentalist Shia Islam -- scceeded in overthowing the monarchy, and were supposed to "share" power afterward.

But we all know what happened: The fundamentalists stabbed the communists in the back (literally), massacred untold tens of thousands of them, tortured and imprisoned the rest, and the survivors all had to flee to France and the US. Then the fundamentalist set up of the mullahcracy with zero communist representation.

With all this being true and undisputed, WHY OH WHY does toe modern western Left SUPPORT THE MULLAHCRACY??? If anything, the left should regard the mullahs as their eternal enemies who will never be forgiven. The Left should be dancing in the streets and thanking Trump for finally undoing the betrayal and treachery that happened after the Shah was toppled. But no. Why?

You’re not seeing everything. There are over 300 wounded personnel. That being said the potential still exists for a more targeted strike. The Russians have insured that potential exists. The fact that we have reduced their number of assets reduces the potential for a hit. But if the can light off a bunch and overwhelm defenses it becomes a math game.

Because the wealthy sob donor class benefits from Iran being a bad boy. These pieces of human excrement make their money from getting a percentage of transactions--same reason for cartels not being dealt with, same reason for Venezuela not being addressed, same reason that the Muzzies and others are invading the West.

Our wealthy WEF types make bank from the inflows and outflows of money and spend a part of it to create their own patronage and political influence networks to keep the inflows and outflows going.

Think of these nasty critters as a global tax on transactions and the more illegal it is, the more that these parasites can make bank by taking higher percentages for the 'risk' of handling money laundering transactions.

Words *should* mean things. If we exterminate the old regime (which looks probable given their proposed terms for peace), the regime will necessarily get changed.

What people should have soured on is specifically the idea of us occupying a country indefinitely, with our soldiers' hands tied behind their backs in the interest of 'winning hearts and minds', while we cobble together a new government. We probably should get a phrase for that other than 'regime change' as it's too broad.

But again, I'd argue their labelling us and Israel as oppressors isn't really the issue. They want to weaken us, as in normal Americans, and Israel and therefore they label us oppressors. The desire to weaken and take from us is the goal, is the ideology, and everything else is built off of that.

As an example - look at Greenland. A European colony in the new world. Apply their model. The Danes are the oppressors and must be removed by any means necessary except...that's not how they approached it is it?

Because enough of those 125k of IRGC and their irregular Basiji are still around in metro areas to kill a lot of civilians.

BTW, Centcom has it at 230 injured, most lightly. The worst injured were primarily from the Kuwaiti logistics center where 6 US Reservists were killed.

The other 7 dead came from the collision of tankers.

Simply put, Iranians don't 'need' targeting info beyond coordinates from Google Earth for bases. Where Chinese or Russian information might be useful would be targeting tankers more than anything.

At the same time, Russia is particularly vulnerable to payback on tankers and oil export facilities as we have more or less controlled range, etc. for US missiles and targeting information given to Ukraine. That too can be turned up. For teh Chinese, hitting tankers simply ups the premium for oil that they pay which is a disincentive to do so.

Both China and Russia giving targeting information is also subject to the degradation of command and control.

413 BenHad, the battlefield isn’t forgiving and opportunities lost can and will cost you victory. Especially when politics are involved. I’m hopeful we can get to a point where the current leadership is so greatly diminished that anti regime forces come in and take over. But the ground game is a lot different than the game from the air. I also don’t think these thugs will make it easy. People are going to need to go in grab them by the belt buckle and stab them in the heart. I know some of these militias and the only ones who have really seen action are the Kurdish aligned ones. Good people, seasoned hard fighters and fearless. But I’m not confident things are right for them and others to launch any type of ground assault. The IGRC still has a lot of assets, especially for infantry type operations. You can only provide so much air cover for the OPFOR. We can only hope we run out of targets and leadership first- to the point they surrender. But it doesn’t seem whoever is calling the shots is at that point. Probably because their foreign benefactors are telling them to wait us out. I hope I’m wrong BTW. I hope to come back here and be mocked and laughed at.

Drones make that a lot easier today than before if you can man your forces with their own drones. You can see that in Ukraine, it is hard to move large forces about without drawing drones, or called in airstrike or artillery.

But yes unless the collapse is total there will likely need some ground forces, either rebuilt Iranian or allied Gulf State needed to take out any holdouts.
