Economic literacy would be a huge benefit to journalists, especially to an editorialist. Trump is not at fault for consumer rejection of EV's. Consumers got there all on their own, and only bought EV's when someone (Uncle Sam in this instance) paid them to buy the product. Rejecting any further participation in that corruption makes Trump a hero, and not a bad guy.
