I let a friend, who has a mini-lap pool, watch my Lab once.

She would swim for like 30 minutes every morning and she said as soon as she got out of the pool, my Lab would jump in and swim for an hour. Apparently, she'd even bark non-stop if my friend tried to turn off the jets to get her out.

Neurosurgeon followup Doc appt at end of March. But, the neuropathy of tingling, burning, etc. in arms and hands has gone away. That leaves whether or not I can regain lost strength from the nerve compression. Only time will tell that one.

Depending on how bad it is, you should be able to get a lot of the range of movement back. But it takes a long time if you have been suffering it for long.

It took 3-4 years of cycling to get about 95% of my drop-foot healed after my surgery. My brain is still convinced I have a larger range of motion than I do, but I'm not tripping every 3rd step.

It is a bit strange, you get used to constant nerve pain where the absence of it takes getting used to again.

But, as I was warned, now as the spine readjusts, I do have some neuro-muscular pain below the operation site. Sometimes that increased pressure causes the need for additional surgery down the spine which is why I put it off until losing strength and dexterity.

The German defense minister said earlier today that Germany couldn't send ships to the Strait if they wanted to. I think a lot of people would be shocked at just how feeble our NATO partner's militaries have become. That's been our responsibility including paying for most of it.

Yes, for the Robo-Ump. I cant recall every detail, but the strike zone will be a plane at the front-to-back center of home plate, 17 inches wide (width of home plate), between X and Y percent of each individual player's height. I can't recall the exact X and Y values. I guess they are about whatever the current definition of the strike zone is, between the middle of the chest and top of the knees. However, each players height entered into the program will be his standing-straight height without cleats. Each player on all the 40-man rosters are being measured now, during spring training. This system has been used for several years in the minor leagues. The MLB players are not all-in for this; the owners are and that's what counts. You can get all the details if you google robo-ump.

We did see a sea lion while we were kayaking at Mission Beach a couple days ago and a "pup" jumped onto one of our companions kayaks. That's a good question. I can't recall reading about any ships in WWII that ran-out of anti-aircraft ammo or anti-ship ammo (the main and secondary batteries). I'll bet it happened. Mostly on ships that were sunk after long engagements. Which is why its not in recorded history.

Mostly I side with evangelicals ... BUT, I just don't believe "Israel" was ever God's one and only "chosen people", despite the OT language. There were many times the faithful (the remnant) had to hide in caves from the corrupt ("Jewish") leaders. So even in OT times, birthright was not sufficient.

There are "end times" and some "Jerusalem" I guess, I'm not well versed on Revelation stuff, but Hebrews says "there is no more Jew nor Gentile" ... and I just can't believe it is all about bloodline, even in OT times. (JC mentions the Good Samaritan as opposed to the "Israelite" being a "friend")

But I'll keep working on the details ... there is always the Resurrection of the Just for good people, as opposed to the Resurrection of the unjust for judgment and a second death. I know where to put the rapists and murderers of good people as far as that goes.

I am looking at things with a fresh perspective and really relearning through a Church that I truly feel an amazing connection. We have been doing an entire series on Moses and I am honestly loving it, it ends next week, but I do feel this covenant exits- god doesn’t go back on his promises. But again, I am learning and relearning so much right now, I am not the expert on this at all. Our pastor breaks it down in such meaningful and understandable ways. I wish I could share the joy and the peace I am getting after each sermon with everyone, it’s been an incredible experience.

I didn't see that. I am neither Catholic nor Protestant, but I think the "anti-establishment" views on religion relate to the "anti-globalist" and "anti-DeepState" views common to this site are interrelated.

Luther made some good points against the established church, but the Lutheran church of my youth has fully succumbed. Establishments in general SUCK. Constant "revolution" seems like the Mencken Theme of this site, to me.
