BBC Altered Pete Hegseth's Speech About Iran, Claiming That the US Seeks to "Bring Death" to the Iranian "People"

The Telegraph, itself a simp dhimmi outlet, claims this was just a "mistake" rather than what it actually was, deliberate pro-terrorism propaganda.The BBC mistakenly altered a speech by Pete Hegseth on the war in Iran, making him appear to say the United States was targeting the Iranian "people". BBC Persian, which broadcasts to audiences inside Iran, mistranslated remarks by the US secretary of defence, telling viewers Washington was bringing death to the Iranian "people". In fact, Mr Hegseth had said the Iranian "regime" was being targeted. The mistake was seized upon by pro-Israel media campaigners, who claimed that it cast doubt on the BBC's impartiality. It also triggered a backlash on social media.Ah. There was some "seizing" on the "mistake" by "pro-Israel media campaigners."
Speaking of pro-terrorist propaganda: Tucker Carlson said that Trump's call for "unconditional surrender" is really just a call for foreign troops to "rape Iranian women and girls," so Trump should not call for unconditional surrender and his brave friends in Iran should never agree to such a campaign of foreign despoilation of their daughters.
The row risks putting the BBC on another collision course with Donald Trump, who launched a $10bn (£7.5bn) lawsuit against the corporation last year after The Telegraph revealed it had altered a speech in a way that made him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot. Saw one case where a no-name, tiny Instagram account which normally had 300 views per post suddenly went into the millions with one post: a picture where he said something like, "I go to Jewish delis because they're poisoning the goyem not themselves." I can't even figure what the hell it was meant to say, but the vaguely anti-Semetic nature of it seemed to be the reason that one post out of his exploded.
And his channel didn't grow.

I did do a whole wheat flower. It was...not a success.
Maybe if I had just used part instead of 100%. That was a mistake.
Right now, I'm just trying to get my mojo back because there were 2-3 loafs in a row that didn't rise very much. It seems to have been the flour I was using to feed the started. Weak, and didn't give much rise.
Last 2 have been solid. I have high hopes for this one. 3 minutes, and I can take the lid off the Dutch oven!

Making your starter strong like ox with a few regular feeds and then using it at its peak of the final feed of your leaven is the key.
Also I keep mine on the counter but it's a little more work.
Also I recommend "backing up" your well fed starter. Flatten some on parchment, let it dry for four or five hours , then crumble it into something airtight. Stick in freezer and it will last longer than the freezer and longer than you. If you ever kill your starter (been known to happen 👀

I grew up naive, a quarter of my elementary school was Jewish and it was literally a seen as a Catholic / Methodist / Congregationalist distinction.
I also watched Kirk Douglas, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra and even the Duke pound out pro Israeli movies in that era; I'm genuinely surprised to see the level of anti-semitism around today.

Lol. It is odd. I never heard anything really about Jews growing up. Even Mammaw and Pappaw who would drop the occasional N bomb never said anything like that. On mom's side, I got the feeling Grandma grew up with Jewish friends (OG NYC catholic) because she used a remarkable amount of what I later found out were Jewish words/slang.
Its (antisemitism) just a world I was never exposed to and like so many other things, I assumed it was the same for everyone so it is baffling to me now.

The disciplines changed a bit after V-II. There used to be Ember Days and Rogation Days, and those required various acts of mortification. The old calendar actually made more sense to me than the current one, and you are certainly free to observe the various old fasts, but they are no longer required.

I managed to maintain the Western Empire (Normal/Normal difficulty), but it was tough. Until Attila dies, the armies just keep spawning. Also, beware the climate change events. The weather gets gradually worse and worse and your farms less productive. You really need to pay attention to what type of farm produces what at the different fertility levels.

And a fair chunk of people are always looking for a group to blame for their own problems. Go to tech circles, it is more hatred of dot Indians right now for example. For those in urban areas, it is often about teh blacks.
People have tribalism built into their bones and it makes it easy to blame whatever outside group--Californian expats for example, for what we see around us like rising house prices and taxes.

It's pretty easy to fast as a Catholic. No meat, and one small meal plus two small snacks that together might make one small meal. If you are over 60 or pregnant (I assume both of those can't be true at the same time!) you are excused from that requirement.
It used to be just one meal, but it changed after V-II.
Jewish fasting is much more severe, as I understand it.

People forget how unbelievably funny that dude was. He was a hypocrite (he was always lecturing young black comedians about their language and topics), he was a scumbag to women, but he was really, really funny and talented. And his show in the 80s did gigantic good in healing racial tensions in America.

Best info I have gotten on this is from Dr Jay Smith in youtube videos, there are some books by him and some other guys too.
Basically, they did research on the best and most available historical information and paperwork on Islam, kind of like what has been done on Christianity for millennia.

I remember one of my middle-school teachers playing his records for us, probably on Friday afternoon. I remember his Noah skit ("Riiiight.
