Tucker Carlson: Lord Haw Haw With A Bow Tie

Listening to Tucker Carlson's increasingly unhinged blather about America's absolutely justified war against the Islamic Republic occupying Iran is reminiscent of Tokyo Rose or Lord Haw Haw during the Second World War.

Tucker is spouting unbelievable nonsense that directly contradicts empirical evidence, yet he continues to be platformed by social media and the compliant dinosaur media because his message is in part rabid criticism of Donald Trump and American Hegemony.

And what's the other part? Well, foaming-at-the-mouth Jew-hate, in the guise of blaming the Israeli government for manipulating Donald Trump into going to war against Iran, suggesting disloyalty on the part of American Jewry, and further claiming that there is no Iranian intransigence...that it is entirely caused by American and Israeli aggression.

The supposed plot to kill President Trump and other officials? DISINFORMATION!

Tucker Carlson sarcastically floats nuking Iran if they actually try killing Trump in fiery clash with Ted Cruz over Israel conflict

Except...

Pakistani man found guilty in Iran-backed plot to kill US politicians

A Pakistani man with ties to Iran has been found guilty of plotting to assassinate US politicians and officials.

Asif Merchant, 47, hired a hitman in New York to kill prominent American officials and targeted US President Donald Trump in 2024.

And here's the NYT link.

Oops!

Tucker Carlson is nothing more than a paid propagandist, trying to undermine his own country at the behest of his masters in Tehran and Qatar. Although he seems to be working for the Mullahs for free, because they are otherwise engaged and probably don't have the cash to pay him anyway. I guess it's just a labor of love for him.

At least Lord Haw Haw had the decency to leave Great Britain and go to Germany during World War II. Tucker insists upon enjoying the advantages of being an American citizen in America while simultaneously working to injure the country and strengthen its existential enemies in Iran and elsewhere. He is also viciously critical of "Christian Zionists," whom he claims are deluded, and have misinterpreted the Gospels. And we all know what an amazing scholar of the Bible Tucker is, so I guess we should take him seriously.

Curiously unmentioned in his rants are the facts of 47 years of Iranian warfare against America and the West. Also unmentioned are the many thousands of innocents murdered by Iranian proxies in the Middle East and in other parts of the world, and that is right out of the Goebbels Handbook!

Optimistically, Tucker Carlson's influence is going to wane, as his obvious partisanship and even more obvious stupidity begins to eclipse his measured and calm demeanor.

My personal theory: Tucker Carlson is dumber than a rock, but for many years at media outlets with writers and editors and producers and executives controlling his stupidity and hatred, his idiocy was hidden.

Now, without that advantage, the true Tucker Carlson emerges, and wow...he is a f*cking idiot!

I still do not understand why he was allowed to speak at the TPUSA event last year.

That seemed to be all about money instead of principles to allow him to speak, knowing he had influence and people would buy tickets to see him speak.

His influence cannot wane fast enough.

17 My theory is Carlson, a rich kid, has always been a tad off (bow tie) but was close to normal, traditional conservative in his views…. But then he got fired by Fox a few years ago and that sent him off the rails. He’s now in the middle of a complete midlife crisis meltdown and it’s hard to know if he’ll ever recover his equilibrium.

Everyone should probably start to ignore the guy… including JD Vance. If I had a friend who had this kind of meltdown I’d probably have a few serious conversations with him to push him back to sanity and decency. But if he wouldn’t listen to me, I’d distance myself…..

24 The idea that Donald Trump of all people is secretly being controlled by anyone let alone Israel is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. There are videos and articles, even old tweets from Trump going back decades laying out what he thought about Iran and the terrorist regime and it had nothing to do with Israel other than they were a strong and important ally.

Trump has his faults but being anyones puppet is not one of them. And if supporting Israel over the rest of the countries in the Middle East makes me a zionist then so be it.

And in Gaza. And Norway. And Germany. And even Sweden... In Malmo, the largest ‘Muslim city’ in Sweden and Europe, where a quarter of the population is Muslim, the study found that 71% of the convicted rapists were immigrants.
(Swedish authorities tried to prosecute the female lead researcher for releasing those numbers.)

A previous survey by Sweden’s SVT television after the migrant crisis found that 58% of convicted rapists were immigrants and that 80% of the rapists who attacked women whom they did not know were immigrants.

While the canadian is arguing with the two foreigner/policewomen you can see a black guy in the back doing drugs. He points this out and they tell him this is about him and they don't care if other people are doing other things.

Alex Phillips @ThatAlexWoman

I have just seen the unedited footage of the October 7th attacks. Please read:

What I saw was young men chopping off heads, shooting everything in sight, slaughtering little crying kids calling for their mummy, throwing grenades inside houses and cars and shelters, maiming bodies, playing with them, setting humans on fire, looking like it's the happiest day of their life.

They call their relatives to celebrate how many they have killed. The parents back in Gaza are thrilled. They cheer and ask for more.

"Bring back some heads for the people to play with" - asks a commander. The savages wilfully oblige, using flick knives to remove the skulls from slaughtered bodies like butchers carving up a carcass.

"Bring some home for the people so we can crucify them in the square" the Hamas leaders order.

I saw a video talking about the recent Middle Eastern conflicts we've had. The guy argued the difference between the 1st and 2nd Iraq war was they Iraqis "learned" how to fight us.

But that's not really accurate. In the 1st war we just bombed the shit out of our enemies. There was no building democracy, no paying jihadis's families if we killed them, no JAGs deciding killing enemies was a war crime.

The lesson here is just keep inflicting pain on the Irani leadership. Kill them, destroy their things, make their lives miserable. And keep doing that until they are all dead or they come to the table on our terms. And if the next Irani leader is an asshole, but an asshole who won't mess with the US, that's a win.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It's where they cry uncle or when they can't fight any longer — there's nobody around to cry uncle. That could happen, too, because, you know we've wiped their leadership numerous times already."

"So it's if they surrender or, if there is nobody around to surrender, but they're rendered useless in terms of military."

67 His podcast rants about Israel manipulating the United States into going to war with Iran so the Dome of the Rock mosque can be destroyed so a a third temple can be erected in Jerusalem is bonkers. This interpretation of events is so obviously off the rails that it could easily be mistaken for 1970s Bible belt preachers ranting on the radio on Saturday afternoons about damnation and revelations. The upshot of it all is Tucker Carlson has over the last couple of years become a stark raving nut with a microphone. it's only a matter of time before he ends up hosting biblical end time symposians to tens of people in rural granges while living in cheap motel where he spends his evenings drinking mai tais and working on biblical numerology. It's sort of cruel to find all this amusing. but what the hell, he started it so I might as well have some fun while this evolves.

99 Yesterday, I suggested that the inability of the Iranians to decide whether they should shoot missiles at other ME countries was a result of a power struggle in Iran, and that it could degenerate into a civil war.

I think that's becoming a reality. The link describes the conflict between the IRGC and the mullahs. The mullahs have had power since the revolution, but now the IRGC wants that power so they can establish a purely military dictatorship.

Their main enemy would be the regular Iranian army, which likes neither the mullahs nor the IRGC, the latter of which appears to function as the SS did to the Wehrmacht.

The Fake MAGA crowd, like the Rinos before them, are trying to cause Trump to lose the midterms because they want to crash the whole system.

And the aim is at young males to cause them to hate pretty much everyone. James Lindsay attributes that to Alexander Dugin's philosophy being adopted--I am agnostic to that, but I think it is a power play by Tucker and other influencer/pseudo pundits to replace Israel and Jews on the right with Muslims in the MAGA coalition.

The key is the blame on Israel (see Me Again) and AIPAC for the war rather than making a reasoned approach to opposing the war.

Gas prices were $5/gallon June of 2022.

And no one on the left said a word when Obama stated that "electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket" during his 2008 Presidential campaign. His energy secretary also stated that gas prices here needed to be more like the sky-high prices in Europe.

Obama 2008: "Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I'm capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was — they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers."

"Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe" — was made by Steven Chu, Obama's nominee (and later Secretary) of Energy, in a September 2008 Wall Street Journal interview.

Unfortunately, I think the Iranian army, by and large, is disarmed and is mainly a conscript force in being so that if an external war started then it could be used. The IRGC is an entirely separate parallel force structure with its own army, navy, special forces, and air force while the nominal military arms are essentially ill armed, ill trained, and more like a reserve component than Iran's real military.

112 Whig - here's a Grok comparison of the army (Artesh) vs IRGC:

Iran maintains two parallel military structures under the Supreme Leader: the regular armed forces (Artesh, or Islamic Republic of Iran Army) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, or Sepah/Pasdaran). This dual system dates back to the 1979 Islamic Revolution, when the IRGC was created as an ideologically loyal force to protect the new regime and counterbalance the pre-revolutionary Artesh (which had ties to the Shah).
Manpower Comparison

Artesh (regular army): Approximately 350,000–420,000 personnel (including ground forces ~350,000, air force ~37,000, navy ~18,000, and air defense ~15,000). It relies heavily on conscripts.
IRGC: Approximately 190,000 personnel (including ground forces, navy, aerospace force, Quds Force for external operations, and control over the Basij paramilitary/mobilization force, which can add hundreds of thousands more in reserves/militia roles).
Total active Iranian forces: Around 610,000, with Artesh holding the larger share of conventional manpower.

1 of 2

Posted by: Archimedes at March 08, 2026 12:07 PM (Riz8t)

113 In conventional/territorial defense: The Artesh is stronger/larger, handling border defense, conventional operations, and much of the air/naval "blue-water" presence.
In strategic deterrence, regime security, asymmetric warfare, missiles/drones, and regional influence (proxies): The IRGC is significantly stronger and more influential. It has become the dominant force in Iran's military posture, especially post-sanctions and in conflicts like those involving Israel or proxies.
Many analysts describe the IRGC as the more powerful branch overall in practice—despite the Artesh's size advantage—due to its control of key strategic assets, higher funding priority, and direct regime loyalty.

Unverified reports of desertions are mainly of Army and regulars and it is the officers leaving off base and the conscripts to fend for themselves.

My guess is the Army is more like a sinecure rather than a cohesive fighting unit as its last war ended in 1980's with Iraq. Something similar existed in Saddam's Iraq, especially during the Second Gulf War as the Republican Guard was a cohesive fighting unit but the regular Army, not so much.

The news media loves to run these sort of stories. Woulda coulda shoulda. Lazy really. And I think Trump right now has to keep options on the table as it freezes the regime and prevents them from making plans.

Like most of Trump's statements, look at his actions rather than what he says. There are not masses of troops in theater unlike the Gulf Wars and it takes a helluva obvious movements to get them there.

But, for obvious reasons, we have special forces there to get downed pilots, probably do crucial networking on the ground with all the assorted minorities, Azeris, Baluchis, Kurds, etc., and other purposes.

You have a homogeneous nation that was so liberated that rape-rape is virtually unheard of because it is always 2:00am somewhere, and 'those known to each other' is written off as misunderstandings... having a bunch of swarthy goat-fuckers show up kind of upsets the norms.

I look at it this way: if in about six months to a year the Iranians have even a fledgling government interested in not being in the running for world's biggest assholes that is looking to restart oil production with a vengeance again in order to fund reconstruction after decades of neglect, the oil price will crash and it will reflect at the pump soon enough.

It will be worth it if we get a better deal here and if the Iranian people get a better deal from its government.

"In contemporary American usage, the term can refer to journalists or others who "dig deep for the facts" or, when used pejoratively, those who seek to cause scandal. 211 Swanson was sold to Campbell in 1955. That’s a long time. Fortunes can easily vanish in 3 generations once all the cousins start pissing it away.

And it’s not like the family got shares in Google. Its shares in Campbell soup. Not exactly a high growth stock. I doubt there’s much of the “family fortune” left, if any.

Very possible. Tucker's father was in the CIA and Tucker has talked openly about his attempts to get in. Given the CIA's history via Project Mockingbird and other such media ops, it is reasonable to assume at the very least, he has contacts in the agency and its vast flotilla of 'former' CIA operatives.

The congruence between Fuentes, Owens, Me-Again Kelly, and Tucker and the whole Bannon mob is pretty high on opposing and counter messaging Trump's administration.

Not above an intel agency dabbling in politics now with a lot of its operatives now officeholders and candidates for teh Dems, to try to split the Trump administration's political base to make the beating of the Deep State to stop.

214 Carlson's idiocy was always obvious to anyone who watched Crossfire. Between him, Robert Novak, Paul Begala, and James Carville, there was no debate, just shouting over each other and the guest. Jon Stewart was 100% correct in his assessment of the show 3 months before it was cancelled.

Is it a coincidence that a secular Jew denounced Carlson's first Bow Tie Sinecure just before it was cancelled and Carlson has gone the full Jew Hater? I am just asking a question!

When Carlson's show began on Fox and started getting praise, I commented that he played the same talk over guest games he did on Crossfire. I was told to shut up, that Carlson is da man! Of course, if Carlson liked someone, he gave them the same fawning admiration and softballs he gives favored guests now. Ultimately, he is what he has always been.

As for financing, given the geopolitical stage and the comments that Trump has been isolating China, perhaps someone should check if Carlson has a relationship with Xi. Again, I am just asking a question.

215 CBD is a jew, who is pushing israeli propaganda in violation of FARA.

The good news is, the ethnic changes the jews have been pushing are having a side effect that the new populations don't give a shit about what jews want

217 Wait, New Jersey is a foreign country? Because that's the only way he's eligible for FARA.

218 I had previously subscribed to Tucker's network after he left Fox. (Yes, I know, silly me.) Since he went off the deep end I tried to cancel my subscription to TCN. They did let me cancel, but refused to refund the remainder of my subscription amount. So I'm stuck being a subscriber until my subscription ends. Thus, his subscriber base won't show the effects of his views until much later.

219 I don't think the guy is stupid, but I do think he's like a lot of these media types: He goes where the money is. Right now, he is either getting paid for this or he thinks he'll attract more revenue than as a standard conservative, or both.

When I first saw O'Reilly on Fox probably 25 years ago I figured him to either be a lefty or apolitical. But he saw where the bucks were, and cultivated the right schtick to do well on Fox. Don't misunderestimate the profit motive.

220 Nailed it, CBD. I also have been calling him Lord Haw Haw. Qatarlson comes off as deeply mentally unhinged. The latest photos of him show a scowling, angry visage. He is twisted much like his comrades-in-arms Candace, Me-Again, and Little Adolph (Fuentes).
