Video of Bill and Hillary Clinton Depositions Released

It's pretty meh.

They lie and lie and lie, but the lies are not proven to be lies in the deposition videos themselves.

The deposition also included "Pizzagate." Asked whether she had ever seen Epstein-related files referencing coded language tied to the claim, Clinton dismissed it outright. "Pizzagate was totally made up," she said, noting it led to a 2016 shooting at a Washington, D.C., restaurant.

Hillary Clinton repeatedly denied ever knowing Epstein personally.

Bill Clinton, meanwhile, faced extended questioning about his interactions with Epstein, including multiple flights aboard Epstein's private jet.

Asked directly whether he had ever discussed young women or girls with Epstein, the former president responded, "No."

He told lawmakers he had no knowledge of Epstein's criminal conduct at the time and insisted nothing in his past correspondence reflected awareness of illegal behavior. Clinton acknowledged traveling with Epstein in the early 2000s in connection with foundation-related work, including trips to Africa, Asia, and Europe. He said he believed he first met Epstein in 2002.

He confirmed Epstein had visited the Clinton Foundation office in Harlem and that he had made a brief visit to Epstein's Manhattan residence.

Lawmakers also pressed him about a photograph showing him in a hot tub with an unidentified woman at a hotel in Brunei. Clinton said the stay occurred at the invitation of the sultan and that members of his team, along with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, were present. He said he did not recognize the woman and denied any sexual relationship.

"I had forgotten that there was anybody in the hot tub," he said.

He also read aloud a note he had written for Epstein's 50th birthday, describing Epstein's "childlike curiosity" and wide circle of friends. After reading it, Clinton remarked, "Not a bad letter," while maintaining it did not reference or imply knowledge of criminal conduct. "I thought Epstein was interesting and curious," he said.

As reported, Hillary Clinton did in fact "scream" when asked by Nancy Mace about current Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. Lutnick "maintained a relationship" with Epstein despite lying about having broken off relations. Google AI:

Correction: Whoops, I assumed Lutnick was a Clinton Commerce Secretary. Nope, Trump's.

Bill Clinton started off strong, immediately lying about having lied under oath. He was disbarred for perjury.

Hear me out: Freedom & Affordability Czar. An interdepartmental portfolio focused on deregulation, both identifying prime candidates for regulatory recission across the Federal gov't, and applying legal levers to incentivize the same at the state and local level. Picture a meme where bureaucrats "getting DeSantis'd" means getting nationally highlighted for their scummy work driving up living costs for working stiffs in their city or state, and it becomes something everyone wants to avoid, since recall elections and pink slips tend to follow.

I have given this some thought, and there isn't really any one single department head position that can make use of all the administrative talents that DeSantis has shown. If not that, then something like it.

You can tell by the way they answer questions they believe they are untouchable and that we're all too stupid to realize we're being lied to.

I have always thought Hillary was the worse of the two. For a time I mulled over the admittedly somewhat remote possibility that she was the anti-Christ. Now I see at best she's one of the lesser demons.

Unseasonably warm here in So. California this winter. Hope Hillary eventually goes to a nice warm place too.

Watching President Clinton speak in the video is interesting in the sense that he sounds old and feeble, but that’s probably an act.
I don’t know what these hearings have done, but if it satisfies the MAGA base, I guess it served its purpose. Since Secretary Clinton’s Benghazi “what difference at this point does it make?”, I refuse to watch or listen to anything that she has to say. No reason.

Not exactly. It was a job application to the Medici rulers of Florence, after they'd deposed the Florentine Republic (Nicky was Secretary of State). The Medici kicked him out of office, like all the other republican officials, and sent him into internal exile.

About 2 months later, they went to his country estate and arrested him, suspecting that he was part of a planned counter-coup against the Medici. They tortured him with the strappado (same torture the North Vietnamese used to permanently damage John McCain's arms). Found that he wasn't part of the plot under interrogation and released him.

About a year or two later, he'd completed The Prince and forwarded it to Lorenzo de Medici, basically begging for a job (see the cover letter in the text). They didn't trust him so the begging didn't work. Ironically, years later they changed their minds and used him as a special envoy for various negotiations, but never gave him a regular position.

My personal guess is that they are going to overrule Trump's executive order but toss the hot potato over to Congress saying that Congress does have the power to legislate. There are more than a half-dozen Republican candidates. God only knows how many the Bushie and Cornyn forces got to run to reduce Paxton's primary count. There are enough candidates to push Paxton's name to the second page of candidates in my Harris County ballot. I was initially surprised at not seeing his name.
