The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

"This is about national security; this is about what's possible in the Middle East; this is about being a good partner to the Gulf States...I am a Democrat. I've been a huge Democrat, and I am incredibly disappointed with my party; I do not see myself in them in this moment,” Moj Madhara, co-founder of the Iranian Diaspora Collective and a Democrat

Quote II

"When a family is boating to a restaurant or simply enjoying the waters in our area, they should not have to worry about being stopped, boarded, and delayed for no real reason beyond a random inspection," State Sen. Chris Elliott (R-Josephine, AL)

Quote III

"When you tax something at a high rate, customers are less likely to purchase that product and are more likely to identify alternatives," Tiffany Ingram, the executive director of the Cannabis Business Association of Illinois

Quote IV

The party's only agenda is 'we hate Trump,' and anything he says, we're going to do the opposite of it. And it makes me very sad for the party." Robert F. Kennedy,Jr.

No Middle East/Iran/Israel news here on The ONT tonight. My .02? Iran has FA for 47 years. I don't have the supporting documentation, but I would suspect at least 90% of all worldwide terrorism involving the Religion of PiecesTM has been funded directly by Iran.

After kicking the Iran can down the road, this was bound to happen sooner or later. The fact that President Trump has engaged with all of the major Islamic countries at the start of his second term was mocked by the "elites". But his engagement with them has led them to keep their noses out of the affair (Monday 3/2/26 8:16AM)

Unlike the Bush's, Trump's philosophy appears to be go in, do what has to be done and get our troops home. We don't need to be building any nations whose populations have no concept or don't care to grasp the concept of Western Civilization. If they want to live like 7th century BC shithole warriors, let them.

Hopefully the Persians can go back to be a western leaning population rather than the cheerleaders for the destruction of the Great Satan.

Those of us who are Constitutionalists believe in the American justice system. However, those who believe the Constitution is no more than a roll of paper towel have developed the art of lawfare. Well what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I hope that Cities Church sues these criminals into bankruptcy.

A total of 39 people now face charges in the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement invasion of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, last month, according to a superseding indictment that the federal district court unsealed Friday.

“YOU CANNOT ATTACK A HOUSE OF WORSHIP,” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on X after the court unsealed the indictment. “If you do so, you cannot hide from us—we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you.”

Bondi announced that federal agents had already arrested 25 of the 30 new defendants included in the new indictment.

Had Matthew been Moe of the Religion of Pieces he would not have been arrested, charged and convicted. Instead the victims would be sent to re-education camps via Low-T patient Keir Starmer's edict.

A sexual predator who repeatedly flashed lone women travelling on the Tube has been jailed for eight months.

Matheus Prestes, 30, targeted his victims on the Bakerloo line in a spree lasting four months from June to October last year.

He admitted eight counts of exposure at Inner London Crown Court earlier this month.

The British Transport Police (BTP) praised the bravery of the women in coming forward to report the pervert.

Different strokes for different folks.

From fantasy photoshoots in the Maldives, to kelp forest "strolls" along California's Catalina Island and Taiwan's luxe hotel swims, swimming in a tail is different wherever you do it.

I am struggling to maintain my dignity – and my buoyancy – in Nagoya, Japan. My legs are encased in a violet-hued mermaid tail, and what I thought would be a graceful glide feels more like a splash.

If he learns his lesson he will never be a Genius Award Winner again.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -- A rancher in North Carolina had a nightmare experience in a car wash recently, when wire fencing sitting in the bed of his pickup truck got entangled in the rotating brushes.

Kyle Corbett shared video of the aftermath on TikTok, writing, "Lesson today is don't go in the car wash with high tensile wire in the bed of your truck."

Earlier tonight we spoke about lawfare. Greenpeace found out the hard way. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

In a financial filing made late last year, Greenpeace USA said it does not have the money to pay the $404m ordered by the jury [reduced by the judge to $345M] “or to continue normal operations if the judgment is enforced”. The group said it had cash and cash equivalents of $1.4m and total assets of $23m as of 31 December 2024.

Maybe little Greta The RetardTM can help out.

70 Okay, this really is a must-watch.

The Triggernometry men just had a sit-down with former MI6 spy Aimen Dean and NYT bestselling national security journalist Richard Miniter, for a deep dive into the geostrategic and ideological ramifications of the Iran war -- and the ramifications of NOT doing it.

The Best Iran War Breakdown on the Internet:

https://tinyurl.com/uj2j97df

They go into, among other things, the global ramifications WRT China and Russia; the nature of the IRGC's form of Islam (scarier than you might think); what the Gulf region Muslim states really think about Iran; the conflict between the CIA's wishes (they have actually given Israel a no-kill list for the regime heads, allegedly) and those of Israel, and more.

Bottom line, this is a big gamble, but not excising the Twelver cancer is a far bigger gamble. The whole conversation is fascinating, particularly Aiman's comments, as he's a native with a very different POV.

The people that tell us asking an illegal if they are an illegal is a crime against humanity are also saying that if you don't force people to pay the state to inspect their vehicles that everyone will die in the greatest massacre mankind has seen since net neutrality.

One item raised on Twitter earlier today: many of the tankers stopped in the Strait of Hormuz have had their insurance cancelled. Not even jacked-up rates, just cancelled.

The account in question argued this could be a huge deal. Most global insurance is still run out of London, one way or another, and Lloyd's probably gets a lot of its info from MI6, which in turn gets it from us.

If the Trump admin has been pissed off enough by Starmer to stop sharing info, that could have huge ramifications for the insurance business worldwide.

The EnviroMENTAL level of misappropriation is a bit different as I understand it. They exist on federal grants mostly. You might recall the EPA putting a hold on $10 Billion designated to various environMENTAL destinations by the EPA. It ended up sitting in Citibank (not sure if it was ever resolved).

The usual process is that the zealots at the EPA designate massive payouts to entities like Greenpeace and a portion of that money finances lawsuits to institute more regulations on industry, or challenge those being removed. Then the lawyers for the EPA roll over on the case. The enviro's get to keep a portion of those grants as pure "income/donations". USAID wasn't needed.

Well, let's see, lawyers write the law, ergo lawyers will get paid. AI says A secured creditor gets paid first in bankruptcy because their claims are backed by collateral. A lawsuit winner with a judgment against the bankrupt party typically falls into the category of general unsecured claims, which are paid last.

So, if the lawyer sets up a collateralized payment set up, I, with the authorutay of a Boasberg, do hereby decree the Lawyer get paid first.

Has anyone done any supplemental testosterone and had it make a big difference in their daily life?

I have a central tremor, and having my hands shake pretty badly some days is really pissing me off. At the same time, my shaky muscles also feel very weak. For example, I have trouble opening jars that should open relatively easily.

I wonder if my lack of strength and tremors may at least be ameliorated with a little higher T level.

(I hate to say this in a Moron thread, but problems of a sexual nature seem to be one of the main symptoms/complaints for low T. So purely for medical purposes, I will add that Mr. Peeps still works just fine.)

Any good stories/advice or bad stories regarding this topic?

There are other sleep studies that look into things like REM duration and repetition, and other brainwave stuff, but most sleep studies just check to see if you are breathing while sleeping, and how often you wake up because you are suffocating.

The take-home variety is usually of the second type.

Why any insurance would deny a sleep study is a mystery to me, since the solution is pretty cheap, compared to not treating sleep apnea. But insurance companies defy all logic anyway.

But no, it's just middle-aged women wearing gaudy mermaid outfits that would make a drag queen blush.

So, is having glamour shots taken in a mermaid tail considered furry-adjacent? Or is it more in the minotaur-milking camp?

If you think about it, in many of the neurological diseases, ALS, MS, Parkinson's, etc., there really hasn't been great progress in treating such diseases. A few drugs that slow the process maybe a little, but no cures or great breakthroughs. Kind of sad. If all you can do is throw some Lyrica or Neurontin at a problem, it's rather depressing.

Many years later, I fell asleep on a massage table and was told by my massage therapist that I not only snored but also stopped breathing for a bit. That led to a second sleep study, this time with the take-home monitor. This second time I was prescribed the CPAP, which has helped me enormously. 205 117 Question for the male Morons, (even though this is a high testosterone crowd):

I went on testosterone gel for a few months. It does work, gives more energy and passion.

Losing 50 pounds also helped with my erections.

Not, with my marriage, it means a damn thing.

But supplemental testosterone is absolutely worth trying.

209 @179...I don't think I could make it through a sleep study as I'd be wide awake not trusting anyone.

I had surgery twenty years ago and had a good excuse not to sleep over the one night. A nurse that took care of me, and I knew her when I was an instructor and she was a student nurse, told me, "You'd think you had your tonsils out (vs the surgery)." My uvula had apparently gotten stuck on the ET tube and I whined about it the most. Muh throat! An anesthesia person came and looked and said I did not need a steroid. Ok. I looked and think I could have tied a knot with it as it was stretched and dragging down my throat.

My son and I compared throats in the mirror of the loo and he said his airway was worse than mine due to his tonsils.

This was after I refused a sleeping pill because "my airway might close."

My surgeon cracked up hearing this the next day and said if I had a daughter vs a son she would have been called to come in and deal with me.I guess meaning this son could talk sense into me.

I consented to a half of a sleeping pill and as I was sort of dosing off I heard him in the bathroom calling his Dad that the lunatic was finally under control. I am a great patient!

I’d say, my rule is if you’re gonna invest money in it, a good sandwich always beats sex. And if you get the right woman you get a lifetime supply of sandwiches and sex for the low cost of all your money. Well,… it looks good on paper,… Think of the P/E ratio!

The technician woke me up part way through the night because my oxygen level had dropped to 80%, or around the point where you start turning blue. She put on a CPAP mask, and configured it well. The rest of the night was the most refreshing I'd had in decades.

When I was growing up in Florida in the 60's and early 70's we had vehicle inspections. They were a steady source of revenue for the brake, muffler and headlight aim guys.

Lack of consequences for the EPA offenders should set a precedent for future victims - I mean defendants...
