Surprise! Even as Fani Willis and Her Monster Box Pursued Trump on Specious RICO Charges, Biden Encouraged Her to Apply for Free Federal Graft-Money

Weird how the Biden Administration targeted its political enemies and also paid off its Soviet Secret Police using taxpayer funds.

As Georgia prosecutor pursued Trump, Biden DOJ 'invited' her to get lucrative grant, memos show

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' records, turned over to Just the News after an open records lawsuit, show her office received millions of dollars from the Biden Justice Department as she built her case against then-former President Donald Trump.

The Biden Justice Department "invited" Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to apply for a lucrative sole-source grant in 2022 at the same time that she was pursuing an election interference investigation against Donald Trump, the eventual GOP competitor to President Joe Biden, internal correspondence obtained by Just the News reveals.

"I want to document your recognition of our progress and services provided with dynamic partners, as we complete sole source steps for our new grant award, a grant in which you invited us to apply," Willis wrote to Justice Department Senior Policy Advisor Scott Pestridge in the Office of Justice Programs in December 2022.

The district attorney was highlighting the Justice Department's 2022 Office of Justice Programs Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative grant, from which her office ultimately received $2,000,000 to implement its programs, agency records show.

That award, which was opened in April 2022 as a competitive grant, appears to have been provided to Fulton County as the "sole source," according to the district attorney. The Justice Department defines a sole source procurement as "noncompetitive," meaning no other entity competed against Fulton for the award.

...

Both [Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum, Esq.] and Willis [and her roomy, spacious 8x12 box] faced scrutiny in 2023 after their romantic relationship was exposed in court by a lawyer for one of the Trump allies charged in the Georgia case. Financial records showed that Willis hired her romantic partner to prosecute Trump and paid him more than $600,000 in legal fees while they were in a relationship.

When the left claimed the 2000 election was stolen in Florida, the FL state government gave them full access to the ballots in question and after a public and detailed examination leftwing/FNM sources had to admit that by their count Bush gained a handful of votes.

In reaction to the 2020 election though the left has sought to fine, imprison, or cancel anyone that calls into question the results and hide or restrict access to the ballots.

There is no serious argument that can be made but that the difference between the two cases is the Republicans in 2000 knew there was no fraud to be found, and the Democrats in 2020 KNOW they stole the election even the ones not directly involved in the steal itself

I guess that is willowed from the thread about the Wrong Way Truck. But I've actually been there, done that.

Mom was driving - trip from DFW to Colorado Springs, pre-college, in a Dodge Omni* - and fighting the wind something fierce in Oklahoma (IIRC). Semi passed us, so now she's fighting the wind AND the turbulence from the truck. And BANG! I (from the passenger seat) see something flash behind the car and go off the road. Mom is fighting to get the car pulled over.

I watched the lock ring go up and over the railroad embankment alongside the highway, jump the pasture fence on the other side, and it was still going literally out of sight. And that pasture was FLAT.

The rear driver side fender was bent and the wheel was actually broken. The tire was also shredded at that point.

224 I've gone out to get help. After about 15 years of 24 - 7 caregiving, I know my brain shouldn't be this hyper vigilant. But when you're taking care of others, there's always a part listening.

My family doctor, last seen in 2019, prescribed me anxiety medication. I'm really not a pill guy but I want something aside from booze to get me back to normal. And there are case workers coming in now too. I've decided that I've completed a hero's journey and I'll ask and get help...

But as I have my last 7 big 6.1% beers before pills tomorrow, there's been a horrible truth I've discovered. A deep shame. But you're the horde. I can come out to you.

Here it is...

I REALLY like Star Trek: Voyager....

They wanted to make the crew feel like a family and they did that nicely. Mom, Dad and I were good. No regrets. Doesn't mean it wasn't tough.I was loved and appreciated. But now that I'm alone, I appreciate the idea of family more. Voyager captures it nicely....

Somehow I've been blessed with friends across the street. Their cats sleep here a lot. I have a 14+ dog I'm taking care of. I do carry him up some steps...

That's it...

OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.177 governs the servicing of multi-piece and single-piece rim wheels, mandating strict safety procedures to prevent accidents from high-pressure tire explosions. Key requirements include mandatory training, the use of restraining devices (cages) during inflation, proper inspection for damage, and the use of clip-on chucks with in-line gauges.

Mom never did get the company to admit fault, despite us giving them the truck number. Since her company did business with them, however, the boss told her to pad a few invoices. That trucking company later went bankrupt. (Wasn't us. Mom didn't charge that much - just a new fender and a new wheel and tire.)

As to the Dodge Omni....
Some chucklehead at the factory had put the wrong make and model emblems on - one each, wrong front and back. So, I always called it a Plymouth Omni/ Dodge Horizon. (Dad did get a small discount at the dealer for that one.)

Can I remind people that the Republican party won in 2024 despite the SAVE act not being law? And now we have the DOJ suing blue states to clean up voter rolls, which didn't happen in 2024?

And yes, those numbers do include all related PACs. Yes, there are going to be Super PACs, but the bulk of fundraising happens with the party organs themselves.

Worst case scenario for 2026 is a slim Democrat majority in the House and the GOP losing 1 seat in the Senate.

Oh no...impeachment theater while ICE remains fully funded and appropriated through 2028 (because of the OBBB) and the DOJ keeps suing for voter rolls cleanup. What will Trump do?

This is *may* have been fraud, but that would be arguable. It is certainly corrupt AF, without question.

How much of government spending is stuff like this? Certainly billions at least, but how high could the total go? I doubt it exceeds half or three quarters of a trillion, but I have no idea.

There's a reason Trump said at his SOTU - and I don't disbelieve him - that there'd be a balanced budget if not for fraud (which, if he's using Musk's interpretation of that word, includes corruption).

99 Noted this morning by someone, the "all of government" conspiracy grand jury investigation in Judge Cannon's court has expanded.

The J6 Committee was coordinating with the Biden WH, the FBI, Jack Smith and Fanni Willis to get Trump in any way possible.

The J6 Committee was issuing subpoenas at their request to obtain evidence the rest couldn't legally request.
Then illegally and secretly sharing that with the rest of them.

And that still wasn't enough--the FBI still had to lie to get warrants to spy on Kash Patel and Susan Wiles.

An ongoing conspiracy that did not end when Biden--and the pardon he gave to the J6 Committee--left office.

166 Husband says things were better when the Mob ran things.

In some ways, yeah. The neighborhoods where they lived and had their social clubs were always safe and well maintained. They by accident killed people not part of their world, rarely anyone else. But they would charge businesses a tax just to exist, when we already have cops to protect them.

It was one thing back in the early 1900s when Italian communities were basically ignored by the police and had to fend for themselves. Having Don Galucci send his boys by for a collection to protect you was just like paying taxes for cops. Having him extort you for "protection" when you have cops is just doubling down for no better service.

And they highjacked everything that moved, driving prices up. They heavily encouraged gambling, which was very bad for communities. And when there was a mob war, they weren't very careful about who got in the crossfire. Technically they weren't supposed to use bombs, but outside NYC they still did. Technically they weren't supposed to sell drugs, but some of the bosses would shrug at it, as long as they got their 25%.

It was a trade off, and I dunno as it was better.

No, just the monetary penalty was voided, but the court that did that UPHELD the finding of fraud and non-monetary sanctions. She's seeking review.

217 It was one thing back in the early 1900s when Italian communities were basically ignored by the police and had to fend for themselves. Having Don Galucci send his boys by for a collection to protect you was just like paying taxes for cops. Having him extort you for "protection" when you have cops is just doubling down for no better service.

In Seattle in the 70's, per rumors and a couple of books, the cops were the ones coming by to gather the cut

Don't even need AI to do it, though it would possibly make for better versions of motion smoothing. Computationally-intensive.

The bigger problem is loss of resolution. When the camera shakes, the stuff in the frame moves but the frame is always fixed. to "de-shake" it, you have to either invent stuff to go in the gaps, or you have to trim the frame. Traditional systems do a bit of both (interpolation and slight shrinking, with resulting loss of quality due to both).

The poll I saw yesterday had crockett beating him by 12 points. For a primary in an off year that is huge. Even with all of the money being showered on talarico's campaign by people from outside the state I don't see how he can win.

If she wins the primary she will lose the general by at least 8 points.

Well, it's all tea leaves based on voting behaviors of racial cohorts, surmised from polls that may be trustworthy while looking at precinct level turnout.

If Jasmine is winning 90% of the black vote and even on the white vote while just losing the Latino vote by 20 points or so.

It's Joever.

And if Kamala is sticking her neck out to endorse, that means it's a sure thing. She can't have a primary endorsement lose and expect to build her brand more leading up to 2028.

Zaslav retired a huge amount of it. The WBD balance sheet has about $30 billion in debt. Still a lot, but nothing like it was post-merger.

That said, I suspect Paramount/Skydance just bought a turkey. It will take a few years to play out, but it won't shock me if it ends up destroying the company. WBD is a big bite for PSKY to digest, there is a lot of debt involved and while there are huge "synergies" (read: redundancies that can be eliminated) and it will give PSKY the opportunity to dominate the traditional box office and post-theatrical licensing market, the costs are gigantic.

The Ellisons aren't stupid, but this is a big play in an area where big plays have a habit of ending in disaster...
