Leftwing Media 2-in-1 Post: CNN's Low-IQ DEI Propagandist Abby Philip Defends AOC's Performance By Saying "Buh Trump;"
Steven Colbert Caught in Lie About CBS Censoring Him

aochotdogs2.jpg

That's from my first but not last experiment with Grok's AI image creator.

Stephen Colbert and Fake Christian James Talarico are engaged in a joint psyop to convince Democrats that Talarico's the candidate who can actually defeat beat the Republican candidate. (I erroneously said he was running against Ted Cruz yesterday; the candidate will be Cornyn or Ken Paxton or Wesley Hunt.)

The Democrat partisan Colbert has decided that Jasmine Ratchet is a sure loser who will drag the entire Democrat Party down -- no lies detected there -- so he's vigorously promoting Talarico and pushing a conspiracy theory that CBS and the FCC are trying to keep him off the air because he's such a threat to The Man.

Theo Wold
@RealTheoWold

20h

A neat little trick here from Talarico and Colbert

Federal law since 1932 has required broadcast media to give equal time to competing political candidates, but Colbert wanted to platform only Talarico and not his other opponents.

So, he interviews Talarico but releases the video only online. Everyone who sees it thinks it aired on the show, Colbert doesn't have to give equal time, and since he has virtually no TV viewers anyway, he still reaches his maximum audience.

Meanwhile, Talarico falsely claims that he's being censored and gets free publicity two weeks out from his primary election by claiming that almost a century of federal law is somehow President Trump's fault.

An ingenious way of getting around the law indeed...

Because Colbert is attacking the network, CBS was forced to defend itself from Colbert's self-serving, partisan-motivated lies:

Brian Stelter
@brianstelter

This just in from CBS: "THE LATE SHOW was not prohibited by CBS from broadcasting the interview with Rep. James Talarico. The show was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled. THE LATE SHOW decided to present the interview through its YouTube channel with on-air promotion on the broadcast rather than potentially providing the equal-time options."

Nick Sortor
@nicksortor

🚨 BREAKING: CBS just called out their OWN HOST, Stephen Colbert, and Dem. Senate candidate James Talarico for LYING by claiming Trump's FCC BLOCKED their interview from airing on TV

In a statement, CBS said Colbert "was NOT prohibited from broadcasting the interview with Rep. James Talarico. The show was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled."

So Colbert didn't want to have Jasmine Crockett on, so he made up an excuse saying the FCC barred his interview.

What a loser 🤣

You know who confirms this version of events? Jasmine Ratchet herself, who was told by CBS they had instructed Colbert he should have her on in the interests of equal time, but Colbert never called her to arrange it:

For the first time in my adult life, I believe Jasmine Ratchet.

Colbert's show was cancelled due to losing the network $100 million per year, but was allowed to continue through May so as not to incur the wrath of the left.

Guess what? The scorpion left pierced the frog carrying it across the river:

Colbert continues to attack them even as his ratings fall to the lowest levels ever:

The Stephen Colbert ratings freefall has reached an undeniable breaking point. As The Late Show with Stephen Colbert approaches its already-announced cancellation, the program is now posting record-low January numbers, marking one of the steepest late-night declines in recent television history.

According to Nielsen data reported this week, Colbert's show is averaging roughly 285,000 viewers in the crucial 25--54 demographic, putting it on track for its worst January performance ever in the category that advertisers actually care about. With just months left before the curtain closes for good, the ratings trajectory suggests viewers have been checking out long before CBS formally pulled the plug.

(Thanks to Beege Wellborn.)

How much more of this does CBS put up with, as Colbert attacks them to drive up interest in his coming "Colbert Unchained" (or whatever) podcast? At what point do they pull him off the air?

Happy Wednesday!

21 There seem to be a lot of AI video encroaching on YouTube. I used to get these videos of odd events, like lightning, or crashes, falls, whatever. Now I see many that seem impossible ... big gorilla lifting weights, or holding puppies, and in a normal environment like a home or gym, not an enclosure or in the wild.

There are other such videos that just seem impossible, but are rendered very well, and look mostly real. It is annoying.

154 No douchebag has been around forever.

Wow, you are correct. The intertubes is a wonderful thing.

The term douchenozzle (often written as "douche nozzle" or "douche-nozzle") is a relatively modern slang insult, essentially a playful or exaggerated variation on the older term "douchebag" (meaning a contemptible, arrogant, or obnoxious person, with "douchebag" dating back to at least the 1940s–1950s in pejorative use).
It combines "douche" (from the pejorative slang) with "nozzle" (referring to the actual inserted part of a douche device), implying something like "the pointy/annoying part that delivers the douche." It's not a literal term for the device in most slang contexts—it's purely derogatory.
The earliest widely documented appearance of "douchenozzle" as an insult comes from around 2003, when it first showed up on Urban Dictionary. That's the point where it entered broader internet slang and meme culture. Some sources trace the "-nozzle" twist as part of a wave of creative "douche-" compounds (like douchecanoe, doucheface, etc.) that gained traction in the early-to-mid 2000s online

Half-tard and douchenozzle.

I used to post Carolla's opinion on Crocs, which I like to think was the root of their inclusion into AoS Lore. It probably goes back further, but let me have my illusions.

I've seen it asserted from leftists on X that "it's time to stop letting the black caucus choose our candidates."

The white progressive activist base NEEDS Talarico to win to tell them that they have influence in the party at any level. Blacks are only 13% of the TX population. They shouldn't be able to spoil their great chance at winning the TX Senate race! (Talarico has no chance.)

It'll feed the energy of the 2028 Democrat primary in ways that will be...fascinating to watch.

Imagine the white progressives having seen not taking Crockett seriously bite them and facing a Kamala nomination...

3 largest black counties made up 40.1% of the total Dem primary vote yesterday.

In 2008 with record black turnout in Texas for Barack Obama these 3 counties were 31.2% of the vote.

-------

Let's be honest here: 18 years of Democrats telling white people that they suck and aren't welcome in the party is just making the black vote more powerful in intraparty Democrat politics.

266 Occupy Democrats's Post
1h
(In part) BREAKING: Stephen Colbert destroys CBS's damage control lies about the cancellation of his James Talarico interview and says that he's "so surprised that this giant global corporation would not stand up to these bullies."
He wasn't about to let them slither off the hook...
"They know damn well that every word of my script last night was approved by CBS lawyers, who, for the record, approve every script that goes on the air,” Colbert said on his show last night.
“In fact, between the monologue I did last night, and before I did the second act talking about this issue, I had to go backstage,” he went on. “I got called backstage to get more notes from these lawyers. Something that had never, ever happened before.”
On Monday night, the late night host revealed that the network's attorneys had informed him "in no uncertain terms" that he "could not have [Talarico] on the broadcast." Talarico is a charismatic Texas State Representative running for a Senate seat and Republicans are terrified that he might flip the state. To avoid angering Trump and his ludicrously corrupt FCC lapdog Brendan Carr — a man who has displayed a terrifying willingness

Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at February 18, 2026 01:17 PM (NFX2v)

267 to go after free speech to entrench the MAGA agenda — CBS blocked the interview.
“Not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on,” Colbert said at the time. “And because my network clearly does not want us to talk about this, let’s talk about this.”
The issue at hand is the FCC's “equal time” rule which requires broadcast stations to give equal airtime to opposing political candidates. There has always been an exception to the rule for talk shows, but Carr has indicated that he may gut that exception. CBS chose to proactively cave to avoid a showdown with him.
“We looked, and we can’t find one example of this rule being enforced for any talk show interview — not only for my entire late-night career, but for anyone’s late-night career, going back to the 1960s,” Colbert said last night.
The backlash to the interview blockade was widespread and swift. Americans were horrified by the blatant attack on the First Amendment. CBS, which is owned by Paramount, rushed to save face by insisting that they had not spiked the segment, but of course they have an incentive to lie to protect their corporate profits.

Much more follows.

The betting markets are not nearly big enough to be awed as "the wisdom of crowds". They are predominantly white progressives who buy any white progressive aligned narrative that pops up.

There are other such videos that just seem impossible, but are rendered very well, and look mostly real. It is annoying.

I especially hate the ones that you want to be real, because those are the most effective lies, because you do half the work yourself (subconsciously) by lying to yourself. So, those are the lies you have to work the hardest (consciously) to guard against.

Like, Pallas's cats. They cannot be domesticated, let alone housebroken; they're not just "feral" like a housecat that was born outside and has never known a human touch, but like a wild animal with no tamed ancestors, since that's what they are. But they look so cute! It's a nice fantasy, but only a fantasy, that you could find an abandoned kit and raise it without realizing. I blocked the channel, but wished I could nuke it.
