Palestinian Activist in NYC Calls for Dogs to be Banned as "Indoor Pets" -- No Longer Permitted Inside People's Private Apartments -- Because They are "Unislamic" and "Dirty"

You have no idea how long it took me to find this article, because Google is deliberately suppressing it. Google only returns hits about Florida Congressman Randy Fine facing a "backlash" for saying about Muslims, if you make us choose between dogs and Muslims, the choice is easy, we'll choose dogs.

Google will absolutely not let you find the story that prompted his comment. It's pretty hard to find it on X, requiring you to write out the exact headline.

But it's true, the never-ending cultural imperialism of the Umma now wants you to give up your dogs.

A Palestinian activist has called for dogs to be banned as pets in New York City claiming they aren't Islamic.

Nerdeen Kiswani said dogs have a 'place in society' but 'not as indoor pets.'

'Like we've said all along, they are unclean,' she wrote on X.

After receiving fierce backlash she later claimed that her post was a 'joke'.

'[Laughing] at the Zionists frothing at the mouth at this, thinking they're doing something,' she wrote.

'It's obviously a joke I don't care if you have a dog, I do care if your dog is s***ting everywhere and you're not cleaning it.

'Also clearly trying to weigh in on an issue unaware of the current NYC discourse where we're collectively (jokingly) hating on dogs given all the visible dog s**t in the unmelted snow.'

Muslims typically do not keep dogs as pets as many believers feel they are meant to be used for work such as herding or hunting.



This is not a new story: Muslims have been demanding a ban on dogs in the Western countries they colonize for years.

I did not start this conversation. I stepped into one that NYC politicians, media, and thousands of residents were already having.

So is it a joke, or a serious policy initiative?


In the below post, she says she was serious, but only because she doesn't want these magnificent creatures locked up in tiny apartments, but roaming free on the city streets as they do in shithole Muslim countries.

People replying with dog pics like it’s supposed to upset me. Meanwhile those pics are fitting my spirits bc I think they’re adorable. All I was saying is they deserve better than a life confined to a tiny apartment w/ scheduled bathroom breaks on sidewalks.

If anything, sounds like I care more about their quality of life than the people using them as a gotcha.

2/16/26 - On Dogs And Those Who Hate Them

Some of us have lived in Muslim countries and understand how they treat dogs, @jaketapper. During one of my deployments, we had to inform the locals, in no uncertain terms, that no, they would not conduct their annual dog cull. In other words, they were not going to go out and kill every stray dog they could find. And they wisely complied.

Your fake fussy outrage doesn't overcome what we saw.

I expect there are some Muslims who don't consider dogs haram and who are willing to treat dogs in the manner of civilized people. That doesn't mean that's not a tenet of faith for a significant portion of Muslims. A significant number of Muslims hate dogs. And, in fact, some Muslims who have come to the West have demanded that we accommodate their bigotry against these wonderful creatures.

So, no. I'm not going to accommodate anyone who dislikes dogs for any reason. My dogs are more important than people who hate or dislike dogs. If you think that makes me a bad person or a bigot, I am completely indifferent to your opinion.

This is not open to debate. We're going to keep our dogs as we always have. If you come to our civilization, you're going to respect our pets, or there's going to be trouble. John Wick is the moderate position on this issue.

Fellow vets, feel free to share your dog stories from the Muslim world for the benefit of @jaketapper and others who want to shame you into submission.

Chows are for instance very happy in the city. They are pretty non-athletic and very clean. Two walks a day and to do their business and they're good. They don't jump and aren't huge on running. (they can still tear the face of a slapping Muslim)

When I was living in town a guy in our building had Irish Wolfhounds! They were just couch potatoes! excellent city dogs, believe it or not. We met up on the Parkway and the dogs would say hi and quickly pee and all of us would just go back up the elevator lol.

you just have to get the right dogs for the apartment situation. and it can be (certain) a big dog.

Diwali is a fun holiday, originally Hindu but now celebrated by many other religions/cultures (kinda like the way the Japanese celebrate Christmas, even though few of them are Christians).

With respect to the Indian subcontinent, Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists, Jains, and likely the various tribal religions all seem to be able to live here without murdering people or otherwise causing trouble. Only one religion common to the area causes problems.

When I was stationed in Egypt in 1990, all of our observation posts had a pet dog, a rescue from the packs of ferals roaming around the desert. It was such an institution that the Army adjusted the MTOE for the support company to add an Army veterinarian for the dog's health.

We had an incident where a pack of ferals got under the wire of a remote outpost and tried to attack the post dog. The soldiers fought off the pack with buttstocks and bayonets until the squad leader said "screw this" and popped a couple of dogs with some 5.56 justice. He got Article 15'd and demoted from E6 to E5, but decided that it was worth it.

Actually, that's a mistranslation that started in the 19th century and has frustratingly never gone away.

When German/Austrian early psychologists first starting coining words with the Greek suffix "...phobia." their original intended meaning was "loathing" or "disgust' or "revulsion." When their works were first translated into English, however, the new German words were translated inaccuarely to mean "fear of." That mistranslation stuck, and to this day almost everyone thinks that "-phobia" as a suffix means "fear of," when in fact it was supposed to mean "revulsion at."

No, The Inquisition was a court established to secure the Reconquista. A dog is much better protection than a door or window camera where I live (fairly looking area in the daytime) any day of the week. Had people try to pry a rear window up one evening when I was inside by myself. The last dog (passed last June) detected it well before I did and ran them off.

Once owned a little terrier that someone had tied onto a pole along a highway. She became a great guard dog as she sounded huge & potentially violent when anyone knocked or loitered outside.

It's the USA and dogs & cats stay.

In Japan, there is one official transliteration into Japanese. So only one way to spell foreign words, established by the government for official documents. It makes life much simpler. Diwali is a fun holiday, originally Hindu but now celebrated by many other religions/cultures (kinda like the way the Japanese celebrate Christmas, even though few of them are Christians).

With respect to the Indian subcontinent, Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists, Jains, and likely the various tribal religions all seem to be able to live here without murdering people or otherwise causing trouble. Only one religion common to the area causes problems.

Guess which one that is?
