Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Jesse Jackson Departs This Mortal Coil to Shake-Down Heaven and Demand God Give $300,000 p.a. Jobs to His Retarded Cousins and StaffersBy some. I assume. The Rev. Jesse Jackson, a defining figure in late 20th-century American politics and the civil rights movement, died early Tuesday at 84 after a prolonged battle with illness, according to a statement from his family and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. Jackson had been living with progressive supranuclear palsy, a degenerative neurological disorder similar to Parkinson's disease. He was hospitalized in mid-November as his condition deteriorated. After disclosing the diagnosis publicly in 2017, Jackson referred to it as a "physical challenge" and continued to appear at public events and comment on political matters even as his health declined. In a statement posted online, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition said Jackson "died peacefully on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his family," describing him as a civil rights leader whose impact spanned generations. President Trump weighed in with a lengthy tribute, noting that he had known Jackson "long before becoming President." Trump called him "a good man, with lots of personality, grit, and 'street smarts,'" and described him as "very gregarious -- someone who truly loved people."He certainly loved lodging invented accusations of racism against companies and then coercing them into paying him millions and hiring on his staffers and useless family members. Unrelated, except by the word "Rainbow:" Chuck Schumer wants to give the gay flag equal status with the American flag. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer escalated the culture fight Sunday, announcing he will introduce federal legislation to make the Pride flag a "congressionally authorized symbol" -- elevating it to the same statutory category as the American flag, military service flags, and the POW/MIA banner. In a post on X, Schumer accused President Trump of attacking "not just the LGBTQ community," but "all of us who care about pride and equality in NYC," after a Pride flag was removed earlier this month from the Stonewall National Monument. "The Stonewall Inn is sacred ground," Schumer claimed, framing the episode as an assault on civil rights history rather than a dispute over federal flag policy. The flap began after the Department of the Interior issued guidance directing that "non-agency" flags be taken down at National Park Service sites. The Pride flag flying near the Stonewall Inn came down under that directive before later being reinstalled. Schumer's proposed legislation would lock in formal federal recognition for the Pride flag, placing it under congressional protection and insulating it from future administrative policy shifts.

As to the old story about JJ trying to wave the bloody shirt:
Jackson appeared on television and in media shortly after (including the next morning) wearing blood-stained clothing (a shirt or turtleneck/sweater), which he said came from King's blood. Some eyewitness accounts and associates (including criticisms from figures like Ralph Abernathy or others in SCLC circles) accused Jackson of exaggerating his closeness to the dying King and/or deliberately smearing or rubbing blood on his shirt for dramatic effect or to appear more central to the event. This became a point of contention in later years, resurfacing during Jackson's political campaigns (e.g., criticisms from Ed Koch in 1988 or Al Sharpton in 2001 referencing the blood on clothes). Well, this alleged Reddit story on Jackson takes a surprise twist:
I met him once in the late '90's when I tended bar for a private party for him and his gaggle of hangers on. By then, the fame and money had gotten to him and it was sad to see him devolving into a celebrity caricature performing for his fans instead of a true leader. His entourage were snooty, entitled, wealthy elitists who enjoyed mistreating "the help", with the exception of Marion Barry who was lovely, and reassured me they were naturally like that and that their treatment of me wasn't personal. He hung out with me instead of them because he couldn't stand their hypocrisy. He was there for the cause, not for the celebrity. Similar to the Illinois Nazis always threatening to march on Jewish neighborhoods (as immortalized in the sacred film about the quest for funds for orphans.) Schumer's proposal was prompted by the trump administration removing the pride flag at the Stonewall monument. Folks, that's the first pride. That's the beginning of the fight for equal rights of lgbtq people.
Such a bill is useless political theater. The people of New York City will just put the flags back illegally anyway. Schumer and Jeffries will do absolutely anything to avoid confronting the real problems. While I think its good legislation, it isnt the fucking priority. Real bold of Schumer too after NYC basically laughed at the administration and said "Nah". I'm still going to vote against you in the primaries Schumer is pretty much a useless twit, but maga is really trying to erase lgbtq people. This is a fight to prevent people from sending lgbtq kids to conversion camps where they are basically tortured mentally and sometimes physically to act straight, to prevent queer and trans people from being murdered. Politicians are so stupid. Dems have republicans on the ropes, not because they have great ideas but because MAGA can’t stop making things worse for themselves. We have a whole new crew taking their place: Crockett, AOC, Jeffries, Lemon, the Squad...
Are there any Squad members still in office who are black? I think Cori Bush lost. The others are all Muzzies or Latina. I'm looking for black race hustlers. And while in office, Jeffries won't be on scene working up a mob. Don Lemon might be a candidate, but then he shouldn't have been crying about getting indicted, he should have held a press conference riling up a bunch of supporters gathered around him about the injustice against a black man. Instead he tried to make it about "First Amendment press" persecution. That's what I mean; today's hustlers don't know what it takes to make a long-term race grift. Or, we could all be adults and realize that sexual preferences don't necessarily require announcement or proclamation. The don't require parades. They don't require paraphernalia. They don't require a protective status, which only results from the former personal choice of publicizing ones preferences. Oh, and that ole' pesky addage that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and slamming a rainbow colored flag in front a person doesn't really accomplish anything other than questioning the assailant's motivation for thinking that would make me give a sh*t. The New Orleans Police Department tells TMZ ... Shia [LaBeouf] was allegedly getting way too rowdy at a bar in the French Quarter. A staff member got Shia to leave ... but the actor allegedly began pummeling the staffer with a closed fist as soon as they got outside.
Alleged victims say Shia finally left, but then came back ... and this time he was even more aggressive, according to the police report. Police say it took multiple people to hold Shia down, and when they let him up, police say Shia went after the same worker from earlier, striking that person in the upper body ... then allegedly punched another person in the nose. At that point, the 39-year-old actor was held down again ... but this time they didn't let him up until police arrived, shortly after 12:45 AM. - Boy, he falls into a career then completely passes it away. It's just fucking embarrassing that there is a national monument at stonewall. It was a gay bar owned by the mafia, that was serving drinks without a license. That was why it got raided by the police. The gays then rioted, because their beloved gay hangout was closed.

I saw a conference that included Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorne, and one of the other speakers was someone who was OBVIOUSLY younger than them talking about his experience at the stonewall riot. During the conversation about stonewall he mentioned "we didn't have transgender, but we would offer ourselves by tying our shirts, since crossdressing was illegal, (or some shit)" he said, and went on like that for a couple senetences, then he said that being there during the start of the riots, when they very started, he was 14.
So was it Stonewall that's sacred ground? or that 14 year old crossdressing wannabe tranny that Schumer MAY have have came "across" or some other preposition, IYKWIMAITYD, almost 60 years ago? Posted by: wickedpinto at February 18, 2026 01:23 AM (2a0yj) Processing 0.06, elapsed 0.0535 seconds. |
