The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

These crimes were not isolated incidents constituting moments of poor judgment; they were textbook cases of grooming, involving a defendant who repeatedly leveraged tactics of isolation, manipulation, and control for the sake of her own selfish purposes. The egregious nature of the conduct was further compounded by the plain fact that the emotional and psychological harm she inflicted came at the expense of two of the very same young minds she had been entrusted to develop and nurture. Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago

Quote II

"Come on, Oskar, just fuck off.” Canada’s Marc Kennedy, Olympic Curler

Quote III
I told [lawmakers] straight up: South Texas will never be red again,” Mario Guerrero, the CEO of the South Texas Builders Association

Mr. Guerrero, personally I don't care. I want every ILLEGAL ALIEN out of this country.

I love women. I love my wife. I love my 3 daughters. I love my granddaughter. But, what the fuck is wrong with many of that gender?

First of all lady, who made you God so you could smite off road enthusiasts?

Well this Goddess learned an eye for an eye or something happened to somebody.

So we keep hearing about compromise. How can one have a rationale discussion about ILLEGAL ALIENS when you are dealing with this insufferable c*^t?

The exchange stripped away any illusion about what drives these ICE agitators. After Jensen screamed "race traitor" at a Hispanic agent, he calmly explained they were hunting a child molester. She called him a liar. The other agent stepped in with a reality check: "If you actually cared, you would care about the child who got raped and also by the person who got murdered by the person we are looking for.”

That's when Jensen said the quiet part out loud. She admitted she didn't care. Then she pivoted to the standard talking point about how ICE should only go after "illegal, violent immigrants" before insisting "that's not what you are doing.” Except it was exactly what they were doing. They were literally chasing a suspect wanted for raping a child and murder.

“If you actually cared, you probably would care about the child who got raped and the person who got murdered by the person we’re looking for, but you see, you don’t care,” an ICE agent told Jensen.

“No, I don’t care,” Jensen admitted.

Hate to see Mohammed Mohammed Mohammed El Goatbanger get a hold of one of your loved ones. Or even you Ms. POS.

Swatting is an illegal act. It appears to be one of their favorite attacks on anyone who disagrees with them. But now it's gone too damn far. We have public officials swatting parents and children over legally protected beliefs and constitutionally protected freedoms.

Perhaps you should let her direct employer know that you don't tolerate this vile, despicable piece of shit excrement. She would fit in well at Planned Parenthood Murderhood.

It is time to wipe away the protected immunity these "civil servants" are entitled to. If you or I called Social Services or the Police we would be facing criminal charges as well as civil litigation.

Just a local cop trying to do his job. So I wonder who she calls when she is a crime victim?

And finally. So many things to say about the following clip and so little time. I bet this little bitch has never heard the word, "No". On the other hand she has padded her resume to enter a Poison Ivy League school.

The ONT Is Always Looking Out For You!TM

Eyeballing a weary porta-potty, the forlorn sentinel of county fairs and highway hells, Jeremy Barnett dreamed it into a deluxe ice fishing palace on Lake DuBay. Using foam strips, he armored the flanks, etched portals for pole parades, and installed a heater fiercer than a scorned snowplow driver.

Lying before thee, behold: a pint-sized privy perched on polar plains, burbling warmth for a duo of dreamers and their dangling delights, while gales of frozen hell giggle outside like tipsy elves.

Dating a 25-year-old is talking to yourself.
With one of 35 it is understanding their traumas.
With a 45-year-old it is tolerant of him talking on the phone all the time scolding his children.
And with a 50-year-old it means hearing the nonsense of 23-year-olds again.

If it contained enough of any radioactive species that the heat of radioactive decay was measurable, let alone significant, it would be too "hot" radiologically, to be used for anything short of a dirty bomb.

I have handled really "hot" hunks of pitchblende, hot enough to peg out a scintillometer on the high range, and thermally it was no warmer than ambient.

201 One really unique quality about Robert Duvall is that I don’t think I ever saw him appear in a bad movie, and yet he was in a huge number of great ones. I think he had the rare ability to read a script and know when the movie was gonna be great, and when he found one he’d work hard to get any part possible in it.
For example, you probably don’t remember that he was in Bullitt with Steve McQueen, but if you watch early in the film, McQueen takes a cab and asks the cabbie about a payphone call. Oh look it’s Robert Duvall! He’d take bit parts just to get into great movies.

202 Everyone of course follow their own tastes and druthers, but if you are interested in what I find the best winter Olympic sports (cross country, biathlon, speed skating, ski jumping, mainly), take out the crow bar, pry open your wallet for $11 for a month of Peacock (easy to cancel), and enjoy.

The crap that ruined Olympic coverage going back decades (focus on US athletes when they're not contenders, or interesting, "human interest" stories) - have not seen once second thereof. And the athletes in the above sports, plus hockey, seem rah-rah Americans, which is unsurprising.

The biathlon is fantastic, one of the two crews covering that and x-c is excellent and brings you into the action with real insights. Ski jumping and speed skating, the same.

And one interesting note. At the x-c venue (largest at this Olympics, and always packed), they cheer everyone, since the event is so obviously intense (most participants collapse just past the finish line, not common in sports). They even cheered the *Israeli* skier, who was last, the other day, as he came in.

I'm starting to think the only answer to this insanity is to give these people what they want. Let them live with the consequences of their choices just like we're going to have to do soon here in California. Just like in NYC where Mandami wants to release (?) the guy that attacked the cop with a knife....fine - send the mental health professionals to deal with the kooks with knives and guns. See how that works out for ya...

See how many mental health counselors volunteer to go out on calls after the first two or three come back in body bags....

You're talking resto mod. I can understand the theory of all the old charm but with modern goodies, but I don't like when they make the car unrecognizable, with interiors that look like they came out of a frigging bently, or body mods that start to leave the original look behind. I can see updating suspension, dropping in a modern power plant with mondo horsepower and getting 20mpg, but no farther. I also like them to just be rebuilt all original, but sometimes that just isn't easy with original parts bringing a king's ransom sometimes if you can even get them. My old car is original. 10-12 mpg, no AC, very minor mods like disk brakes in the front, slightly upgraded suspension that works with radial tires instead of the old polyglass, original radio. Thats it, its still mostly original.

I have only ever been in a stretch limo one time in my life, and that was when I was 15 and rode in one with my other girl cousins for my maternal grandfather's funeral. I mean, we had "fun", because we were a bunch of giggly girls and one of the drivers was a really cute guy, but still.

DoJ documents from the Epstein files have exposed a previously unknown connection between a 2012 White House advance-team scandal in Cartagena, Colombia, and Kathryn Ruemmler - the former Obama White House counsel who later became Goldman Sachs’ top lawyer.

Ruemmler resigned from Goldman when the Epstein document dump revealed her extensive, affectionate, and years-long correspondence with him.

Ruemmler turned to Epstein for advice on legal and reputational matters on how to respond to the 2014 Washington Post report accusing her of helping to suppress evidence of prostitution involving a rich kid White House aide whose daddy was a huge Obama donor.

According to Grok:

The attached image shows the suspect holding a baby while displaying tattoos including SS runes and a swastika-integrated design, aligning with their online posts espousing neo-Nazi views, such as self-identifying as "to the right of Hitler" and using terms like "Himmelstrasse" to mock Holocaust victims.

Replies highlight the shooter's support for far-right figures like Rep. Thomas Massie and affiliation with the groyper movement, underscoring intersections of transgender identity, extremism, and libertarian politics in this case.

It's time to massively build massive asylums and get these animals into cages.

310 In April 2012, ahead of President Obama’s trip to Cartagena, Colombia, at least 20 Secret Service agents, military personnel, and others were involved in hiring prostitutes.

It appears that Epstein coached Ruemmler through the whole Colombian dust up.

314 On a happier note: I cooked up a dozen pot stickers today, from the batch I made last night. Yummy! A bit heavy on the ginger (because I didn't 'level' the measuring spoon) but so worth all the effort.

Hubby chowed down on some, too. Had to stop him from drinking the dipping sauce, LOL.

There are times when I sorta miss Oregon... like remembering the good time we had on a St Paddy's Day pub crawl in PDX with 4 other guys and 3 strippers in a stretch limo.... and then I read about this PEACE act, and I'm glad I got out.
Second the nomination of Straight to the Heart - David Sanborn (RIP)
Great train song - Last Train Home, Pat Metheny Group
Note: Why 3 strippers? Because 2 of us were married... and I still.am, because 3.

Jeepers Braenyard, I had forgotten all about that unpleasantness in Cartagena and the fact that there were so many involved. Journalists certainly didn't seem too interested in the story.

yeah my car is a 69 roadrunner with a manual trans. They came the bigger 11" police brakes from the factory, so it wasn't too bad, but still, drums suck. The entire brake system was new, but still, if you were coming down a long down hill in traffic, like a large bridge, and have to keep hitting the brakes you can feel it fading. I put disk brakes in the front and its night and day. I would thinking about the regular B bodies with V8s and 10 inch brakes and think wtf were they thinking.

Time ago the liberals passed a no involuntary confinement law. It's very restrictive and limiting.
In order to have a functioning system with a positive impact for society and the confined laws must be changed.

336 Riding dirt bikes all my life and it's always the wealthy liberals that object to others having fun - in the coastal mountains just south of Half Moon Bay we were riding down an abandoned and ancient unkept narrow dirt road; likely a logging road built when loggers still used horses and wagons (redwood forest.)

We came across people riding horses, we slowed and throttled down, the jackasses all turned their horses ass-end to us so if the horses kicked we'd be murdered.

339 JQ. This was 1984ish. They were probably residents of Woodside - exclusive and very wealthy silicon valley bedroom community with the trappings of 2 acre horse pastures and stables. Even the general store was got-up to look like an old country hardware store. People like Steve Jobs owned homes there.

It was literally their way of constructing a fantasy hamlet on the edge of urban sprawl.

341 When I was down & out, unemployed and desperately job-seeking in/around Eugene OR. Stopped at a dive motel/restaurant and asked for a job app. Slow afternoon so I sat at a booth to fill it out. There were a couple of girls in another booth, couple of tables away. (Didn't interact with them, just noted their presence.)

Finished and handed my app to the lady at the counter, thanked her and started to walk away... surprise!

One of the booth girls was right there, in front of me, blocking my path. I stopped. Looked her in the eye. Sidestepped. Said not a word, and then continued walking out to my car. (praying the whole time that I wasn't going to get jumped & beaten up-- or worse-- for some imaginary "infraction"!)

I lived to tell this tale. LOL, kinda.
