Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 2/12/26![]() Another mass shooting, and another devastated community. And once again, elites in the media class and public officials are so terrified of offending that they don’t dare ask the obvious question: Why are so many of the most horrifying attacks carried out by people who identify as “trans”? After Canada suffered one of its deadliest school massacres Tuesday, police identified the biologically male shooter as 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar — noting that he began to transition six years ago. That’s right: another deadly attack by someone who is transgender. Yet the elites go to lengths to avoid any suggestion of a linkage. . . . . . For years, the public has been told that identifying as the opposite sex is simply another harmless expression of one’s self-identity. Questioning it is dangerous, cruel — “bigotry.” Exploring whether transgender identity may signal deeper psychological distress is forbidden. Professionals who dare to raise concerns are threatened with loss of their licenses, professional reputation and livelihood. That dogma has consequences, as another community has learned the hard way. Let’s admit it: Believing you’re the opposite of your biological sex is simply not a normal, or neutral, position.Where does all of this insanity come from? It goes back perhaps at least 100 years, with the nascent Soviet Union's attempts at destabilizing the free world in order to promote global Communism to make it the dominant nation/ideology of the world; Subversion of normal culture by attacking societal institutions and norms that propelled the advancement of western civilization for 2,000 years and promoting atheism and sexual deviancy as normal and healthy along with fomenting class, economic, racial and cultural strife would bring about the collapse of the West and usher in the age of socialist paradise on earth. If you can stomach it just take a look at Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" or watch Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov's chilling "Warning to America" from 1984 (the year, not the book!) where he lays it all out. This is a must-see video to show your kids. Elsewhere and on a very positive note, there's this story that like the above the Democrat/Left political/propganda axis wants buried. In 2026, murder rates in major U.S. cities dropped to levels not seen since 1900, while violent crime dropped sharply amid President Donald Trump's aggressive deportation efforts. The numbers are impressive: homicides down 21% in 35 large cities, marking the largest single-year decline on record. Overall, violent offenses returned to or dipped below pre-pandemic figures from 2019, robberies decreased by 23%, andcarjackings dropped by 43%. The only category to increase was drug crimes, which rose slightly by 7%. About that societal dissolution I mentioned earlier, the madness that drives transexual mass murder is a kissing cousin to those who use SUVs, firearms and molotov cocktails to attack ICE and moment insurrection. And if you can't steal elections with fake citizens just register the insane. Yes you have to be insane to be a Democrat but I mean the literal insane: New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani (D.) tapped as his health czar the founder of a left-wing nonprofit that registered patients in mental hospitals to vote.Besides Bellevue, they probably checked the morgues and registered anyone with a toe-tag, and probably all the cemeteries. You can bet NYC is not a one-off and this is likely S.O.P. in every blue metropolis from coast to coast. But requiring ID to vote is racist and even the notion that our elections are not secure is Right wing propaganda! Unless of course you are a sick, evil bastard like Jamie Raskin engaging in chutzpocritical projection by insisting Trump will steal the midterms! Have a great day. That doesn’t mean every person with gender dysphoria is violent or even deeply sick.
OK, I know a person with gender dysphoria. But she (Yes, I call her a she because I didn't know differently until later) went through two years of intense therapy to make sure that the risks were understood and had to live for one year as a woman. She went through this in the 90s. These people are trying to be trendy and the doctors have gone from making them wait to greenlighting everything. It's straight up mental illness. Whether it's brought on by medications, physical/mental abuse or social pressures is debatable. It's probably any/all of the above. But here's my personal bottom line with it; the left hates us and does everything possible to piss us off at every turn. This is one of them; the championing of mental illness. In simplest terms; the left will most always take the exact opposite view or side on any issue because they want confrontation, unrest, and for us to be unhappy and on edge. Always. Gary Hart came up on the ONT. I have a Gary Hart story.
Gary Hart is asshoe. My brother was a chef at a fine-dining establishment he frequented. He was always rude and hostile to the staff, a lousy tipper, and always on with the do you know who I am crap, trying to big-time everyone. This was in the late 2000s, mind you - he was no longer a thing. But, they put up with him, because he was a local celebrity and all the wino AWFLs who constituted approximately 100% of this enclave's population swooned over him. Finally, though, he became drunk and extremely verbally abusive toward the nice old man who played the piano there. That was the final straw; my brother and the GM banned him for life. The owner was mad at them, but they could no longer tolerate Gary Hart's bullshit. Donna Rice did this country a real solid. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at February 12, 2026 07:31 AM (BI5O2) 38

You mean, the Red infiltrated corridors of power, right NaCly? We avoided gouts of blood, gave focus to the nation, and under Eisenhower, made our economy the USSR crusher it turned out to be. Yes, we did. However, we could have used Wehrmacht forces as well. Even though we needed to defeat Germany first, near the end of the war, we should have cut down on the supplies we sent to the Soviets. Let the Eastern Front grind each side up. Where does all of this insanity come from?
tldr; Estrangement from God. (ref Romans 1:18-32) ~~~~~~~ I posit that demons in the spiritual world travel via human host. One of the curious results of mass immigration from all over the world, particularly the degenerates and most evil from every nation, is that the demon possessed immigrants bring in their baggage. Occasionally, that baggage ends up going into the spiritually weakened people who won't be deported. This is all to obvious to those who read Scriptures. The wicked are characterized as those who experiment with drugs, deep in sexual sin, and reject God. Guess what? You have all of these in trannies. There is your Stage IV Reprobation. It's straight up mental illness. Whether it's brought on by medications, physical/mental abuse or social pressures is debatable. It's probably any/all of the above.
That is Enlightenment "thinking", the whole rejection of a spiritual world even though history is profoundly rich in examples of the occult and spiritual cohabitation with humans. The Enlightenment destroyed our vocabulary in understanding and replaced it with pop psychology and bullshit materialistic explanations that constantly need to be revisited, emended, contradicted, modified because materialistic "answers" aren't answers, its the language of fools and children who don't have the ability to process what is going on around them. I believe Trump has delayed any military action on Iran for two primary reasons; the first is political. The US simply cannot start a major war in the Middle East without being sure that its allies are on board. Too much equipment and supplies have to transit through their countries to ignore them.
Secondly, after Trump’s initial enthusiasm, I think he was informed of just how hard changing Iran’s regime will be. Now that they are dug in, I don’t see any way to do it through air power alone, yet boots on the ground are not an option. Iran is not Venezuela; this is a much tougher nut to crack. Posted by: r hennigantx at February 12, 2026 08:02 AM (gbOdA) It's a possibility. The problem comes with ascribing too much logic and sense to the illogical. One thing you always see in their writings is a train of thought that jumps from track to track to track and often reverses course. They may believe they are on one path, but the diseased mentality and God complex causes them to flit from thought to thought, which are only in the end a rationalization for their twisted impulses. They already want to kill, then they justify it. Even though it may appear the other way around. Not every time but most. Posted by: ... at February 12, 2026 08:07 AM (S5fB5) 105

I posit that this is because of size and features people require.
A few years ago I was considering building an attached "Mother In Law" suite on the property, not much bigger, and with no more features than what you would find in an ADA compliant spacious hotel room. Not even a mini-kitchen. The only luxury was use the same style brick veneer as the main house. Quoted: $90k I'm sure the appraiser would have been glad to tack on $100k to the evaluation and raise my rent forever too. If one considers transgenderism, and it's rise in occurrence to be nothing more than a Fad, or social contagion, what happens to the mental state of the young kids that were either allowed to, or worse yet, talked into permanently damaging their bodies?
And then come to find out that they are not the Kool Kids any more, but will never be able to go back to what they were. I'm predicting a whole lot of rage driven murders of innocents, parents and doctors as these kids mature, and the finality of what was done to/by them becomes fully apparent. This trend of murders is, in my opinion, only going to get worse with time. Posted by: Village Idiot's Apprentice at February 12, 2026 08:08 AM (iMotb) 108

Lets try 100%. No one is not being tempted by demons. The Scriptures teach that everyone is subject to varying levels of temptation. The Apostle Paul in Romans 7 writes about the struggle. 1 John goes even further. The LORD was tempted in the wilderness. There lies a proverbial devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. For most people they swept away that angel and only can hear from the devil. Heed the advice of Galatians 5:16-26 "Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." Posted by: Thomas Bender at February 12, 2026 08:16 AM (Ruy1P) It's not that niche. At one point, I ran some analytics (before Alexa got purchased and started charging for even high-level data). Organic traffic to this site isn't huge, but it's more than enough to justify much more mainstream, less sleazy ads than these. But, Google effectively sets the ad rates on websites in the US, everything is downstream of them because of SEO, and they use a constantly changing """algorithm""" to do this, and they tell NOBODY how it works. Because they - as a group - value consensus over logic.
Posted by: Nope One example: There is this show where women are holding a balloon and a guy tries to date one of them. If a woman doesn't like something about him, they pop the balloon and are out. One time, they had an obvious troon in the lineup. The man walked in and popped his balloon. In response, all but two women popped theirs and the remaining two looked at each other as if asking whether they should join the group. Posted by: NR Pax at February 12, 2026 08:30 AM (NR6c1) 164
This why the notion that AI will become sentient is complete bullshit. We have no idea what consciousness is, and no ability to bestow it on the inanimate. Not quite accurate; the Save Act now has 40 Republican Senators as co-sponsors. That’s the number of pretty conservative GOP Senators.
The problem is the Left and the Uniparty members combined hold a 60-40 advantage in the Senate.
So if you want to fix them: reduce government/NGO jobs, reduce the benefits of frivorice*, encourage this cadre of women to have more children, or perhaps most easily, break up the FNM. *This will leave them in unhappy marriages taking their hate out on their leftists husbands but that's a price I'm willing to pay... On Iran, Wiki lists the regular Iranian Army as having about 690,000 men, and the IRGC as having just under 200,000. The Basj has an undetermined larger number. All these forces are declared in favor of the regime, and many are deployed in the cities, with and around civilians,
Point is that they have to be broken before the regime can be broken. If we want to do it by air, that means we need strikes designed to kill a number measured in the hundreds of thousands. People shy away from the harsh reality of what would have to be done; it would be similar to what was needed to remove the 3rd Reich. Posted by: Tom Servo at February 12, 2026 08:45 AM (gCFgr) 205
Cartel judges are now creating amnesty out of thin air to give illegals citizenship.
Writing the illegal has a "substantial liberty interest" in remaining in the US by virtue of how long they avoided capture. That phrase, "substantial liberty interest" is a real and actual term of law. FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!! That is the phrase used when discussing the full suite of due process rights you, an American citizen, are entitled to. I said it when he wrote it, but that illegal Midnight Order of Roberts will go down as one of the worst opinions in Court history. Specifically that he stated that illegals were entitled to due process--without clearly reaffirming that it is "minimal due process." Cartel judges have taken that opening and gutted immigration law. If after all this time you still don't understand Trump's motivation you likely never will.
Trump takes action when he believes it is in the interest of the United States and the American people. Everything he does is through that lens. There are a myriad of complicating issues with Iran and the repercussions of an all out military attack on Iran including things like what impact would it have on this fall's midterm elections and if you don't think Trump launching a war on Iran would give the left a huge weapon to attack you don't know the left. I suspect the problem with the GOPe is that the uniparty/left still has substantial resources to bribe, blackmail, and liable people it wants to target.
So when there are important votes they can go to those pols and make them a deal they can't refuse. Did Mr GOPer have an affair? Or maybe the FNM can just claim he did? Or...would getting another house in warmer climate change the way he'll vote? It takes a strong man/women to refuse that stuff. And traditionally the GOP electorate was bad at handling this - they'd vote against a conservative politician because the FNM made claims about them not being morally perfect. And as a side note one of the things that infuriates the FNM about Trump is they can say anything they want about him and right leaning voters don't care. They thought they had Trump dead to rights for saying the word p*ssy or for maybe having an affair with Daniels, or hell even having had a divorce Posted by: 18-1 at February 12, 2026 08:59 AM (sKqQm) 238
So what was the end result of Politico's absurd Epstein-Trump frenzy? A laughably tardy admission in Tuesday's Politico Playbook that rather than Trump being in cahoots with Epstein, he actively worked with police to nail Epstein due to Trump's disgust with his sleazy activities.

Also interesting: Nancy Guthrie case shows Google nest captures and save video from person without an active subscription: https://tinyurl.com/374m3xde
“Nancy Guthrie had a Nest camera, which is owned by Google, and law enforcement initially believed the doorbell footage was lost and said Nancy Guthrie did not have a premium subscription to access video from her doorbell camera — Now, according to Google, if a Nest camera is disabled, it can still record up to three hours of event video history without a subscription. So many are wondering, why did it take so long for this video to be released? Well, it takes time for authorities to basically recover this video from Google servers, since Nancy Guthrie did not have a premium subscription that offers special features for video history. And essentially, video is continuously recorded and saved with a subscription, but without a subscription, video is saved until it's overwritten. . . Gallup will no longer measure presidential approval after 88 years. Trump rating peaked at 47 percent last February and dipped under 37 percent in its last poll taken in December.
The floor is 27%. Alan Keyes running against Obama for Illinois senate proved it. Keyes was from out of state, so you can eliminate any established political base; both candidates were black, so you can factor out racism; and Keyes was plainly, obviously, completely crazy. Batshit crazy. Head-trauma crazy. But 27% of the population of Illinois voted for him. Pure partisan base. George W. Bush hit a floor of 25% in October, 2008. I think the trick to get from 27% to 25% is to actually be in office and do some demonstrable damage. "Demonstrable damage?" Trump literally demolished a third of the White House. There goes 88 years of credibility, flushed down the toilet with the big orange turd. Hope it was worth it Gallup! No it's the treatments we give them plus the self loathing that drives their dysphoria in the first place. Once the "confusion" gets indulged and the loathing is not curbed inside, the hate turns outward because they aren't left with any explanation anymore. Where an anorexic gets thinner and thinner and still sees they are fat, our society has indulged them just enough - they get the wig and maybe a snip, and they look in the mirror and know it didn't work. But they can't reason why it didn't work. Why they still feel every bit as fucked up as they did before in their "wrong" body. So they rationalize and decide their misery must be the fault of others. The job of the census is to go to everybody’s house, and count everybody
There are some presuppositions in this. The job is "enumerate," and almost every categorization process in government AND industry pays more to come up with bigger numbers. To get an accurate representation, you'll need enumerators who also have an incentive to downplay the overcount. No agency has this in its charter. For some time, we've played hard on the idea that you don't have to be "at your house" to be counted. You can play with this in both directions, but don't be assuming nothin, here. I guess the Constitution is down with the idea that you might live in a tent or a covered wagon or on the street instead of on A street -- but how many times should the same pioneer be counted? So what was the end result of Politico's absurd Epstein-Trump frenzy? A laughably tardy admission in Tuesday's Politico Playbook that rather than Trump being in cahoots with Epstein, he actively worked with police to nail Epstein due to Trump's disgust with his sleazy activities.
--- Some Dem dumbass got up and thundered that Trump's name appears over 1 million times in the Epstein files!!! Not disclosing that his search was for just "Donald." Not Trump. Oh, and the Dems are super, super pissed that the DOJ is logging and tracking their searches. Bondi even brought print-outs of their searches to the hearing with her. 32 I don't think the transgender movement has much, if anything to do with Communism or any other political ideology.
Posted by: Martini Farmer at February 12, 2026 07:28 AM (jtM2q) The afflicted are just nuts, but the movement to accommodate them is absolutely communist. From a 2005 FrontPage Magazine interview with Theodore Dalrymple: https://archive.is/WBcUY Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to. Posted by: SciVo at February 12, 2026 10:13 AM (Sy6m/) 340
