Newsom's Lawless "Law" Presuming to Strip ICE Agents of Their Masks So That His Anatifa Paramilitaries Can Bomb Their Houses Rejected by Even a Left-Wing Judge

Even a Clinton judge understands that until the left finds its courage and simply declares, like the Confederacy, that they are separating from the US, states are still bound by federal law in federal matters.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi
@AGPamBondi

ANOTHER key court victory thanks to our outstanding @TheJusticeDept attorneys.

Following our arguments, a district court in California BLOCKED the enforcement of a law that would have banned federal agents from wearing masks to protect their identities.

These federal agents are harassed, doxxed, obstructed, and attacked on a regular basis just for doing their jobs. We have no tolerance for it.

We will continue fighting and winning in court for President Trump's law-and-order agenda -- and we will ALWAYS have the backs of our great federal law enforcement officers.

This isn't as clear a victory as Bondi suggests, unfortunately. The judge does rule partly in favor of the Insurrectionist Left and says she might allow the law to be enforced, if it's enforced against all law enforcement officials.

That's nuts. Newsom does not have power over federal agents. He cannot direct them, he cannot hire or fire them, he cannot dictate how they do their jobs.

A federal judge on Monday blocked California from enforcing a new law that would have barred federal immigration agents from covering their faces during enforcement operations, handing the Trump administration a clear courtroom win and halting a Democrat-led attempt to rein in ICE and Border Patrol.

U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder ruled the mask ban cannot take effect because it exempted state and local law enforcement while singling out federal agents -- a distinction she said unlawfully discriminates against the federal government.

This is an error. Newsom also can't dictate how federal agents perform their jobs even if he extends this "law" to state agents.

The law, signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom last fall after a summer of high-profile ICE operations in Los Angeles, had been set to take effect earlier this year before the Trump administration sued.

Federal officials argued the measure would strip agents of basic safety protections amid rising harassment and threats tied to immigration enforcement. Snyder agreed, siding with Washington's position that California lacks the authority to selectively regulate how federal officers perform their duties.

"Selectivity" has noting to do with it. If George Wallace got a law passed that said neither federal nor state agents could integrate schools in the 1960s, the courts would not have said "Yes he can block federal judge-ordered integration, so long as he bars both state and federal agents from doing it."

It's absurd. The left is suddenly very States Rights and very neo-Confederate.

...

The judge blocked the mask ban itself -- which would have prohibited masks, neck gaiters, and other facial coverings -- but allowed a separate requirement to stand forcing officers, including federal agents, to wear clear identification showing their agency and badge number while on duty. Snyder also left Democrats a narrow path to try again, writing that California could pursue a mask ban if it applied equally to all law enforcement agencies.

Can't antifa track agents by badge number? Doesn't that defeat the entire point of protecting agents' identities?

If the left wants to go extra-judicial, well: We can go extra-judicial, too.

Do you like Right-Wing Death Squads? Because this is how you get Right-Wing Death Squads.

Meanwhile:

Remember when the left demanded all cops wear body cameras in the mentally-ill delusion that cops were randomly target Innocent Black Citizens and executing them for no good reason?

Well, that didn't turn out to be true. In fact, the BLM/antifa left has been very frustrated that cops' wearing of body cameras disprove almost all of their attempts to gin up a violent race-revolution with lies about cops just murdering people "for being black or brown."

And they've had a very hard time getting their new Race Hoaxes to go viral.

So you'll never guess what the left has decided:

That's right, cops must stop wearing body cameras, because body cameras invade the privacy of innocent black and brown people (and frustrate their efforts to hatch new race hoaxes).

A Muslim Somali monster spat on ICE agents and got arrested. She then claimed they "assaulted" her, "kidnapped" her, and kept calling her the n-word.

The bodycam video disproved this attempt to start a race war just to get out of a month's maximum time in county jail.

Body cameras also expose how racist and extremist white antifa members are:

They have no principles, only psyops.

14 Everything Dims do are psyops. They are corporate libertarians who also love government spending because it creates sinecure jobs. That's it. Their deranged supporters may think the revolution is around the corner, and those supporters might try to start said revolution in some blue shithole, but the politicians have no intention of doing anything but continuing to grift.

The definition of fascist economics by the way is for government and big business to work together (usually crushing small competitors along the way). This makes Dims fascistic even while they cling to pointless government jobs like they work at Gosplan in 1989.

Posted by: rickb223 at February 10, 2026 01:48 PM (KN2gu)

54 This is a bigger victory than it appears. Yes, the slimy judge left openings to try again. But CA agreed not to enforce the law while the case was pending, and now they lose the point.

So the ban on masks was never enforced, and now can't be enforced. By the time CA amends the law to try again, the left will have moved on to something newer and dumber.

As for the badge numbers, I think they are already wearing them, or at least they are in the vids I've seen. But the badge numbers are of limited value. It's the masks that were the big play, and CA lost.

The saga on our neighborhood FB page continues....

Apparently, I am a weirdo because I don't condone people defacing public property by affixing stickers with the word "ICE" under the word "STOP" on stop signs around the neighborhood.

I keep trying to tell these idiots that allowing "small" things like that to go unchallenged only leads to neighborhood decay - like it was when we first moved into this neighborhood.

It took a LOT of vigilance by us old-timers who have been here for 40+ years to bring this neighborhood to a desirable location to live and raise families. We didn't allow defacement of public or private property to happen - we nipped it in the bud whenever we saw it starting to take hold.

But apparently I am the bad guy because I support ICE - or as these yabows refer to them "kidnappers and murderers" - and not property crime.

I would argue further with them, but it's like talking to a brick wall. Their "feelz" are more important than my facts.

Body cameras worn by law enforcement officers can be banned via law or policy order. Same way they were required to be worn. Gavin Newsom has the micro-expressions of a stone-cold sociopath -- which is to say, none. When he debated Ron DeSantis in 2023, that was the one thing that stuck out the most: no matter what Ron said, Gavin had a perfectly frozen smile that never reached his eyes.

I was actually relieved by this, because I hadn't really watched him before, and I was afraid he was slicker than that. A full-blown personality disorder is a disability that its holder cannot pause at will, and I think that a lot of normies (of both sexes) will be more creeped out the more they watch him. That was the moment where I decided that he would probably not be able to make the leap to national politics, unless as a foil and a footnote.

88 One of the most enjoyable hobbies in the modern era is watching any of the thousands of police bodycam videos posted to youTube every day. it's unreal, mind-boggling. The bodycams reveal that the people they're arresting are crazy, evil, retarded and brimming with high-self-esteem, sanctimonious rage, violence, hatred and just all-around horribleness.

The stuff cops have to deal with on an hourly basis would drive most normal people to become Travis Bickles.

What always makes me laugh is when the criminal finally gets cuffed (after doing everything possible to resist), and then (inevitably) goes on a mile-a-minute explosive tirade hurling triumphant declarations of victory combined with vicious abuse at the cops:

"You white-ass-cracker! That';s all you got? What's your badge number? I'm suing y'all I CAN'T BREATHE! I'll get you for murder, you small-dick loser! Took cops to cuff me -- y'all are weak? Take these off and we'll see who's in charge! I'll be out in an hour, and my homies will take you out! Imma rape your wife! Hahahahaha! You can't do shit to me!!!"

Nearby every video has a tirade like that. The cops just sit there and take it silently.

89 Body cameras have real limitations.

Mostly, they film where the torso is facing, not what the officer is looking at.

That's why the DHS officer interacting with Good was using his phone to record her license plates. Also...he didn't have a body cam, of course.

95 But the judge allowed the state to enforce a separate law that requires all law enforcement officers, including federal ones, to display visible identification. Was the mask portion a naive miscalculation? Hard to believe if they purposefully targeted ICE.

You'd have to be either stupid AF or in someone's pocket to allow law enforcement agents to not identify themselves.

this sorta looks like a 10th amendment issue. There's nothing at the federal level permitting federal agents to operate anonymously. The masks are not a required component of any uniform. And anti-mask laws have been in place for decades without challenge. So, it would seem that this judge is just straight up blocking the state's power to execute their own laws. Trespassing. Too many people believe that a property owner has to have a good reason to trespass somebody. Nope, they can do it for ANY reason. This crops up over and over on bodycams. Teach it in the schools, for cripes sake.

The confusion surfaces based on the premise of the property. Some locations will have an invitee status, and trespassing doesn't apply until they exceed their permissions. That's a debatable situation. And, in many cases it is implied. Not always easy to prove. Minors are genuinely excluded from understanding of private property tresspassing up to a certain age.

What I'm saying is that trespassing isn't a black and white issue at all. For example, going into an open store is invitee status with permissions. Wandering back into the "employees only" room is trespassing. But, it must be proved. That's a whole lot of paperwork for a misdemeanor that might have been someone looking for the restroom.

There also is a long law enforcement’s history of harassing and surveilling people for publicly criticizing or opposing law enforcement practices and other government policies. Republicans were in on the Simpson Mazzoli bill. The Senate was Republican at the time (the Simpson in the bill was Alan Simpson from WY who was majority whip for the GOP) and Reagan coming from California which even then had a fair chunk of the illegals, did not view them as a particular threat. There was, as always, a demand for illegals for crops, etc. in California, TX, AZ, etc. so the cheap labor Chamber types wanted it.

Like Reagan as governor signing onto an abortion bill in CA, Reagan was complex and often did things in hindsight that were as GOPe as anything else was during the period.

He calmly asks for license and registration which the Afghani refuses to give - instead he listed all of his problems - taxes, government paperwork, the cost of living, and claims it is all the cop's fault for bringing him here to the US.

Eventually the refugee reaches for his gun and dies when the cops return fire. But it was the most restrained and polite policing I've ever seen to that point. If I had a jihadi figdeting with a gun and saying all his problems were my fault I would just keep polity asking for his ID...

Assistance to FBI: These individuals create dossiers, including identifying information and locations, and provide this evidence directly to the FBI. The FBI has acknowledged that this public assistance has been significant.
Motivations: Supporters of this approach argue it is necessary for accountability and to "hold people responsible."

The whole point of that op - would you believe - was to turn the word MAGA into an easy slur for the election.

Up to that point the Left had had a hard time branding us and Trump because he was so slippery, and his slogan at that poont was inimitably cool.

By globally deploying the phony visual of that word (which had hardly been used by them at the time to describe us) associated with a noose and bleach going around a random black person's neck was perfect.

And it stuck - even though the whole thing was very obvious bs. They are still riding the high off it. They didn't have the easy pigeonhole for us until then. The words of the hoax were chosen very carefully by some focus group somewhere. Jussie was Kamala's boy.

149 Hmmm ... the links in the post above are making a very odd argument about why body cams are a bad idea. Insane, even.

The links seem to think that if police aren't wearing bodycams, they will be holding camera phones to record. They will thus have at least one less hand to beat the shit outta brown people with. But wearing bodycams means they can record video with both hands free to do their dastardly violence.

No, I'm serious. This is their argument. See the link above: bodycam "equates to a chest mounted phone case so that ICE agents can brutalize while filming hands-free."

These people are seriously mentally ill.

Fundamentally the left approaches law with an take that purely looks at the ends.

They want illegals to be allowed to stay, collect welfare, and vote. So if they can reduce the effectiveness of ICE by any means then that's what they'll claim the law is.

151 Just woke up from my nap and missed the earlier threads.

In my understanding of the latest tranche of released Epstein documentation our 'dintdunuffin' friend has come up:

A file lists Wexner as a possible "co-conspirator" or "secondary co-conspirator" in Epstein's 2019 trafficking investigation. It notes "limited evidence" of his involvement and mentions he was served a subpoena. This document was highlighted after Rep. Massie (R-KY) pointed out redactions; Deputy AG Todd Blanche quickly unredacted Wexner's name on February 10, 2026, stating it already appeared thousands of times in the files and "DOJ is hiding nothing."

Documents discuss Wexner's attempts to hire defense counsel in 2019, bank records from JPMC showing ties extended beyond the 2007 severance date he previously claimed, and notes on his cooperation with investigators. Wexner's name appears unredacted over 1,000 times across the files.

No proof of guilt of course BUT more than a few of us have been pointing this finger for a long, long time.

Only if you never read the debates at the Constitution and the First Congress regarding the Bill of Rights. McCulloch v. Maryland put the stamp on it. States cannot put restrictions on federal agents doing their federal duties.

Since the Convention, immigration and naturalization is explicitly a power of Congress to regulate, not any state. Even the worst of the Confederates did not contend that Congress did not have the power to ban imports of slaves in 1807. So the power to regulate means the powers to enforce those statutes e.g. federal law enforcement under the direction of the president.

Congress may, if it so choose do something like 287(g) where fedgov and a locality enter into an agreement allowing jails to screen and call ICE for pickup of criminal illegals. Probably kosher if Congress allowed states to enforce federal immigration laws as is common in some other areas like the Clean Air and Clean Water statutes.

175 16 Body cameras likely encourage reasonable police behavior...

Posted by: bear

-----------

This is a key right here.
- Body cams document the violent behavior of people the police encounter
- But they also keep the police in check from abusing their authority.

Removing the bodycams will both
(a) create doubt that the Left can exploit to accuse police of wrongful acts that they have not done, and
(b) allow some abusive acts by police, usually when the person they encounter needs a bit more force than the law strictly allows.

They crave abuse of power because it justifies their actions against police. They want to tear down the normal checks on society because they want to tear down civilized society and create chaos.

Supply and demand, the more of something you have, the less price it can demand.

So if you import millions of low skilled workers then the price of low skilled labor will go down.

Though our policy has been even dumber then this because we also put most of those illegals on welfare too.

My rough estimation is about 10% of illegals are working in some non-crime related field like agriculture (and there are only about 1M farmhands in the US anyway)

I was thinking squarely of Mitch and his obvious assumption that once Trump was out of office, his entire influence on the party would be over. Hence, his interview in late January 2021 where he said...exactly that (which he reversed about a week later).

Mitch knew how to manipulate the powerful. He had literally no idea how to appeal the actual electorate. The closes he could do was holding up a rifle and not saying anything at the NRA conference.

Eh, smart people largely view it a store of value -a savings account that will consistently beat inflation and usually yield more than the typical savings rate - that's it. So an emergency is a legit reason to liquidate some or all of it.

But this was a not a smart person. I suspect he was trying to day trade the shit like he's a crypto bro, and fucked himself over.

Or, more likely, he's a degenerate neckbearded indigent looking to unload grandma's flatware to pay for monkeypox salve.

270 260 McCain ran against white guilt and was a obvious backstabbing cunt without principles. Had his own people sabotage his own VP because she stood for what he claimed to, and was more popular than him. Bastard.

Having met and interacted with McCain in person, I can say that he did me one favor: Disabusing me as a young man of the notion that the politician you see smiling on TV is likely not that person in real life.

He was a fucking asshole, and I reserve that vitriol for very few people. If his grave was on fire, I wouldn't walk three steps to piss on it.

272 A year in to "ICE is kidnapping innocent people!" and the left has yet to find one single person who was legally permitted to be here who has been deported.
Or detained longer than was necessary to determine status.

Yet, they are still accusing ICE of deporting innocent people.
And demanding they "identify" themselves because somehow all these "innocent" people have no reason to know why they are being arrested by ICE.

It is very hard to generate consistent high short term earnings with investments...especially commodities (hi Hillary!).

The stock market is sort of like gambling with the house slightly in your favor at least...but commodities? Not so much...

Posted by: 18-1

There are models including the older ones like Swann, etc. that use cabled cameras. But you should never store any information on the cloud that you want protected because the tech industry does not give one shit about protecting client's privacy. Eufy is a popular and fairly easy to install camera that gives you a choice for local storage and it is better probable than Arlo. I've set up Swann (installation pain but effective) and Eufy. Eufy is easier. Arlo had a spotty rep for quality and I started small with a doorbell camera versus the system I installed for my mother back in the day (Swann).

I saw an infographic that showed that Obama apparently incorrectly deported 4 people while president - someone posted this to a leftist arguing that "Obama did it better!"

But the Trump score on that so far is 0 which is impressive.

You're right. Many of us still believe there exists a social contract that comes with easy-to-follow rules. Further, good people refrain from violence not just because they're good but because they have jobs and families and plans for the future. They have a stake in keeping things stable and secure. However, if you threaten those fundamental, foundational anchors or even take them, tear them away, you'll see things (and people) change with a quickness.

My bet is by the end of his term, NYC will have devolved into separate cities along borough lines

After the first snowstorm some of his supporters were crowing on X that Mamdani got the streets plowed! What a hero.

Now the snow is piling up and so is the garbage and they aren't so talkative. But at least they have free buses that aren't free.

He has to keep his homeless death count down. He has at least 12 at this point?

He won't force homeless to shelters when it's below freezing. It's their choice. Eric Adams was screaming at him that he needs to move them inside even if they don't want to.

Mamdami is, of course, going to lose no sleep over their deaths. And the legacy media won't hound him. The great commie hope of NYC God that he is cannot be seen bleeding.

She got a new knee in 2024 and thought she could make a comeback...she actually did this season and was a medal favorite...blowing out her knee 1 week before the games meant we couldn't replace her spot anyway.

And we did have a female unheralded ski team get bronze today and Breezy Johnson win downhill...so our newbies are winning (while Shiffren, our liberal choker, is not)...

Barry was carefully groomed by Thomas and Billy Ayers. Everything in his life was carefully prepped and greased, all the way through Harvard. Editor of the Harvard Law Review without a single published contribution? No prob. Upstart candidtate against an established Dem state senator? No prob. Unseal divorce records to tank a GOP opponent's election chances? No prob.

Dems don't have the political infrastructure to make that happen anymore. The activist coalition structure is no more. The Communist patronage is no more. The legacy MSM is a shadow of its former self. The Dems have been reduced to a type of criminal syndicate.
