Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Don Lemon Arrested, But Not for the Sexual Assault He Was Credibly Accused ofDon Lemon's shit-eating grin just got 10% more literal. Disgraced ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested early Friday over the anti-ICE protest that stormed a Minneapolis church during Sunday service, according to his attorney and Attorney General Pamela Bondi. "Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents ... in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards," Lemon's attorney Abbe Lowell said in a statement shared with multiple reporters. He was one of four people arrested by federal agents early Friday "in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota," Bondi later confirmed in a statement.A lot of J6 people acted as journalists during the J6 "insurrection." They reported, they recorded, they livestreamed. They were told that a claim of "journalism" does not excuse lawbreaking. Leftists, as usual, want a different rule for themselves and their enemies. They want "journalism" to be a Guild with Special Rights and Privileges and, of course, they want the power to say who is and who is not a "journalist." Only leftists may join the Guild and have these Special Rights and Privileges. This attempt to turn themselves into nobles and us into peasants must be resisted with all force. Of course. ... It was not immediately clear what charges he is facing. However, Lemon has been accused of violating the Enforcement Act of 1871, which bans interference with certain civil rights -- such as voting or serving on juries -- or, in this case, the right to practice one's religion. Also known as the Ku Klux Klan Act, it was originally created to prevent the racial terrorist group from paramilitary vigilantism. Harmeet Dhillon, the assistant attorney general for civil rights, also said the DOJ was considering charging Lemon under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, a 1994 federal law that also covers interference with religious worship, as well as conspiracy statutes.Another "journalist" who took part in the storming of the church has also been arrested. A journalist who was with disgraced ex-CNN host Don Lemon when he allegedly stormed a Minnesota church has shared video of the moment agents came to also arrest her Friday morning. "There's agents at my door," independent journalist Georgia Fort said as she livestreamed the arrest on Facebook Live. "As a member of the press, I filmed the church protest a few weeks ago and now I'm being arrested for that," Fort added. "It's hard to understand how we have a Constitution, Constitutional rights, when we can just be arrested for being a member of the press." At one point, a female arresting officer can be heard telling Fort to hurry up and come outside. It remains unclear what charges Fort and Lemon are facing over the Jan. 18 demonstration at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Full on fascist now. All the politicians refusing to remove this president are now the enemy of the US Constitution.
MAGA have always been obsessed with Don Lemon for reasons which are hard to understand (other than the most obvious one). What crime are they alleging? go after the agents that are murdering people in cold blood--NO Go after a journalist reporting a news story--YES The argument is that the "protesters" were in violation of the FACE act. Conservative journalists that entered the capital building just to film were still arrested, charged, and convicted. So they're arguing the same should apply to Lemon. (Weird...no responses to this comment...) Imagine if journalists actually stood up to Trump. MSM sugarcoats everything with Trump Admin and they're still getting arrested! The problem is conservatives keep glossing over an important fact: the requirement of force or threat of force being used. No way in hell does protesting or even shouting during a service rise to that threshold so long as nobody was physically prevented from coming or going. He is 100% pay to play, something he accused Hillary of being, and he accused Biden of being. He railed against Venezuela, murdering alleged drug haulers at sea, abducting their president, but at the exact same time pardons the biggest coke trafficker we had in custody. And his maga base praises him.... Minaj is probably trying to get a pardon for her brother. He's currently serving 25 to life for raping an 11 year old over an extended period of time. Also, Trump gifted Minaj the $1 million dollar gold card. So he screwed the citizens out of that million dollars in revenue without asking us! Bullsh** on the "shouting doesn't rise to that threshold." It sure as shootin' does. Hell, yelling directly in someone's face in most places is assault. Also, people were blocked from leaving in the fashion they chose, as well as blocking the stairwell.
And, of course, the FACE act specifically removed "violence" from the requirements. Posted by: GWB What did Lemon say at the time? "I imagine it’s uncomfortable and traumatic for the people here…That’s what protesting is about." Live reporting that the event was traumatic for the victims, and that was the point of the "protest", is going to be pretty damning in the upcoming trials. People hate the GOP for constantly reneging on their entire platform, every time. Democrats get mad because they stick by their entire platform every time. While not explicitly encouraged by the prison staff, it’s my understanding prisons are very tribal. You pretty much have to join a gang, under their protection. Easier to maintain control over everyone. Which has certain implications for our society at large, doesn’t it?

219 The mood swings around here are amazeballs to watch.
Posted by: RI Red ======= The power of narratives put out by media commenting types (right or left) has enormous effect on about 80-85 percent of the population. Much of which is because they have outcome preferences but not specific policy preferences to achieve those outcomes. And the media provides narratives to explain why this or that is not working or this or that is with pseudo logic (pseudo dialectic). To ideologues (not in the pejorative sense) narratives in the media (and by those around us) have little power. Easiest definition is they act like legal advocates for their side in court, not for the other side with a cohesive explanation of how the law applies to the particular facts in a situation. Just so for ideologues in a broader sense. Apply your axioms to the facts. Ideologues (on the right and left) look for opportunity and refutation even in the darkest hours. That is because they have their own mental system of how the world works and what are the key variables that matter. Posted by: whig at January 30, 2026 10:54 AM (2swu2) 259

I have a pretty good sense of when I’m getting played, but I can feel the sometimes subtle manipulations trying to affect my mental state. Posted by: RI Red Hard to avoid being swamped as these narratives are constructed by very clever people, (just like some trial lawyers are in court to sway a jury). And most people have loved ones, friends, commenters, etc. that reinforce whatever narrative is being put out. Hard to remain objective in such matters at times. Religion helps when you realize that while people have free will to choose good or evil, the Lord plays with loaded dice to shape outcomes to his will. And he has an interesting sense of humor. Plus he is the master of the narrative--the Bible is a perfect example. The sheer cohesiveness of that narrative and its interconnecting parts cannot be a product of nature as it had purportedly about 50 plus authors, and 2000+ years of history. It is only his narrative that matters at the end of the day, not the media, not friends, loved ones or family, but his will. Posted by: whig at January 30, 2026 11:11 AM (2swu2) 348

________ When did this vogue start of calling peasants the lowest of the low? It wasn't always understood that way. Ill fares the land, to hastening ills a prey, Where wealth accumulates, and men decay: Princes and lords may flourish, or may fade; A breath can make them, as a breath has made; But a bold peasantry, their country's pride, When once destroyed, can never be supplied. - The Deserted Village Also, Chesterton praised the US as being ruled by a "free peasantry". In order to charge Mangione with the federal charge of murder through use of a firearm, prosecutors need an underlying crime of violence. They have alleged that crime to be stalking. However, according to legal analysts, if stalking can be done without violence, even if it wasn't in the case alleged, the charge could fall apart.

WTF does that even mean? Posted by: one hour sober ====== "Judge Margaret Garnett ruled Friday to dismiss two charges against Mangione, for murder through use of a firearm and use of a firearm with a silencer to commit a “crime of violence.” The murder count was punishable by the death penalty, so the “chief practical effect” of Garnett’s ruling is that a jury will no longer consider whether Mangione should be sentenced to the death penalty, the judge wrote. Mangione still faces two charges, for interstate travel for the purpose of stalking Thompson, causing his death, and for use of electronic communications systems for the purpose of stalking Thompson, causing his death. Both of those counts are punishable by life in prison without parole, making that now the maximum sentence that Mangione could face." “I will never run for an elected office again,” he said. “Never again.” “Look, I recognize that I’m a lightning rod,” he continued. … being hooked up with criminal activity tends to do just that Posted by: SMOD But, hear me out, Amy Klobuchar runs and wins Minn Gov. and appoints Timmy to the Senate vacancy. That way Timmy can keep his promise of not running for office and the spice will continue to flow to Minnesomalia. (apparently this conspiracy theory has been floated on X) Posted by: Chuck Martel at January 30, 2026 11:28 AM (Dv3i1) 406
Mike Benz identified a key DC person involved in the MN protests:
https://tinyurl.com/kapma3kj @MikeBenzCyber Given the star of this video Maria Stephan is so actively involved in the Minnesota uprising, and even promoted it on Colbert last week, this feels like a timely video to upload Note Colbert had her on his show recently. If you didn't realize it before, he is very much part of the DC propaganda machine. Remember when late night shows were about celebrity chat, not state propaganda for the vaxx, for the party, for the revolution? Posted by: Lizzy at January 30, 2026 11:28 AM (0yjaw) 407
Mangione still faces two charges, for interstate travel for the purpose of stalking Thompson, causing his death, and for use of electronic communications systems for the purpose of stalking Thompson, causing his death.
___ So no charges for actually pulling the trigger, causing his death? Just crossing state lines and using his phone which somehow led the Thompson's death? Something like this - 1. Cross state lines and use cellphone 2. ???? 3. Mr. Thompson is mort Posted by: Chuck Martel at January 30, 2026 11:31 AM (Dv3i1) 408

What I left out was not that he makes that claim, only that he platformed some loser (didn't even know his name, but I heard parts of the interview -- so looked it up: Darryl Cooper) who does ahistorically make that claim.
Posted by: ShainS -- Who's Gonna Be Today's FAFO Darwin Award Winner? at January 30, 2026 11:10 AM (0Eh0f) and Cooper writes what in other circles would be alternate history, but he doesn't seem to make up his facts, just his interpretations are not the accepted ones. Having talked to some Germans who do dabble in that period, the Reich thought there was possible rapprochement possible, and a good number of influential Brits were in favor of it too. However this attacks the basic theory of our current political world which posits that the only thing that has saved humanity was the defeat of Nazi Germany, and that defeat is used to justify everything we did before, during and after the war, and justifies every maneuver made for the last 80 years as furthering that goal. which, by the way, is also the justification for the Lefties in MN, OR, CA, WA and other places to call Nazis so they can justify putting us all in camps Posted by: Kindltot at January 30, 2026 11:37 AM (rbvCR) 411
Is it really punishment to send Don Lemon to the PMITA?

Lemon thought that he had found a slick way to abuse white church goers. Funny that he has been tripped up by a law intended to protect black church goers from the Klan. Don Lemon is the Klan with a tan.
