Trump: "I Don't Think We Need" Antisemites in the GOP

Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes, Megyn Kelly, and Candace Owens hardest hit.

Or are they? Carlson and Owens barely pretend to be Trump supporters, and Nick Fuentes urged his "Groyper" followers to vote for Kamala Harris.

"Grandma Groyper" Megyn Kelly, meanwhile, just supports whatever position she thinks is hot with the TikTok generation this week.

President Trump had a resounding no for any antisemites claiming to be part of the Republican Party or his MAGA movement.

"I think we don't need them," he told The New York Times in an interview. "I think we don't like them."

His comments, made in a Wednesday interview but published on Sunday, came after a series of high profile ultra-conservative figures have made controversial comments about the Jewish people and antisemitic speech has split Republicans.

Trump said: "I condemn" antisemitism.

He said he's an ally of Israel and was awarded its Israel Prize, considered the country's highest honor.

...

"My daughter happens to be Jewish, beautiful, three grandchildren are Jewish," he said. "I'm very proud of them. I'm very proud of the whole, that whole family. I am the least antisemitic person probably there is anywhere in the world."

But the Republican Party has been roiled by series controversies that have garnered wide-spread public attention.

A group of young Republican leaders, in the fall, were revealed to praise Adolf Hitler in a series of chat groups.

And the Heritage Foundation, a premier conservative think tank in Washington DC, was roiled by a staff outcry after President Kevin Roberts defended a far-right figure who made anti-semitic remarks.

Roberts sparked the wave of resignations among the think tank after defending Tucker Carlson for interviewing Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes on his platform.

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson argues that Russia would be within its rights to nuke Germany and UK over peevishness that their invasion of Ukraine was slowed down.

As you consider this claim, recall that Tucker Carlson recently attacked the US for having dropped two nukes on Japan during WWII, once again using his (claimed) religion to justify his position.

You see, it was "demonic" for the US to use nukes.

But for his Russian friends? It's justifiable.

Tucker Carlson has described nuclear weapons as "demonic" and "prima facie evil," questioning the moral justification for the atomic bombings of Japan on civilians
.
His specific comments on the issue include:

"Demonic" forces and no upside: In a November 2024 discussion, Carlson stated that nuclear weapons are "demonic, there's no upside to them at all," and suggested that the forces involved in their creation "were not human forces obviously".

"Prima facie evil": During an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in early 2024, Carlson argued that it is "wrong to drop nuclear weapons on people" and labeled the act of defending the use of atomic bombs on civilians as "prima facie evil".

Questioning historical justification: He has questioned the common argument that the bombings saved lives by preventing a mainland invasion of Japan, suggesting this justification is a "mindless and childish intellectual exercise".

11 "Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes, Megyn Kelly, and Candace Owens hardest hit."

Nah, I think they're laughing all the way to the bank. This is performance art for them.

The more outrageous things they say, the more clicks and money they make. Sucker, Dick, and Candass are also getting direct payments from anti-Israel sources. Me-gain is probably taking bribes as well.

This is why even though they should be called out, I don't like talking about these parasites, because it only increases their exposure -- which is exactly what they want. There's no such thing as bad PR in their world.

12 Most of the Jew Hate crowd are opposed to and attacking Trump anyway. I'd say they all are but I really don't pay that close attention to any of them.

The key here is to not consider everyone called antisemite to actually BE one. For example, it is perfectly fine to criticize Israel if they do something stupid (shooting a church with a tank) or something wrong (attacking USS Liberty). The difference is, are you saying "they did this thing wrong" or are you saying "those Jews did it again in their usual Jooey way!"

16 Even while I liked Tucker, I often saw that he was an unbalanced rhetorician.

He's been a bit erratic in the past. Overstating cases that could be said more reasonably. But now he seems to be doubling down on his last overreaction too much.

I was a big fan of his TV show. That does not mean that some of the things he said didn't make me cringe. That doesn't mean that I thought he was too placative of Greenwald and some other helpful liberals.

Look at how Bo-Jo, another former journalist, behaved in office as an example of a media type actually having to grapple with policy. Botched it so thoroughly that his own party dumped his ass for his perpetual lying, self pity, and bloviating one thing while doing another.

Expecting them to be otherwise is to forget our current media types.

I hate stupid people like this.

BOTH cities had significant military production and presence. They were legitimate military targets.

MORESO, we killed fewer people in Hiroshima than our conventional bombing of Tokyo. Nagasaki was bigger, but still within the same realm of casualties of a major city.

EVEN MORESO, we saved Japanese lives by bombing those cities. Their fanatical military would have insisted on fighting to the last man, woman, and child and kill as many US Servicemen (USAGI) as they could. (Which is the more pertinent statistic, but these evil people would have been fine with 1M+ Americans dead if we just didn't drop those evil bombs!)

It was the greatest act of mercy the US could have done to stop Japan from fighting to the end.

85 My guess is that Ford employee was a problem at work already. The heckling just gave management a plausible reason to fire him.

Besides, he now has all of that Go Fund Me money to live off of, right?

Too bad no other company is going to want to hire him after this, 'cuz that GFM money won't last as long as he thinks it will.

I think GFM is mostly just more money laundering. Do we really believe that some rando moron collected almost a million bucks from "real" people donating their own money in a few days because he was fired for heckling Trump? Come on now. This was money laundered through GFM and will be kicked back in part to the launderers. Everything is a scam. Everything.

96 Don't you think that some of the comments on this blog represent a scenario that blacks earn their racist stereotypes?

The thing is, that's acting like the behavior of a small portion of the black population represents the whole of it. Like, claiming all white people are line dancing three tooth hicks because some are in Corral City, Texas.

Its a larger percentage of fatiguers than most other groups, admittedly, but still the minority by a large margin. Its just the black people who are not knuckleheaded fools don't get any media attention, music, or entertainment portrayals except in rare occasions. You get a constant portrayal of every black person being the inner city gang banging graffiti artist who fires his gun sideways.

They also don't observe ritual sacrifice like was a central part of pre-Christian Judaism.

See, Christians keep alive the meaning of sacrifice. Weekly or Monthly, we have a ritual asserting the value of the "spotless lamb". Jews act like it was never that much a part of it. But Christians kept the centrality of the "temple sacrifice". Some people view that as the barbaric part of Christianity that refuses to move with the times.

But that still makes Christianity an argument for the more central continuation of the Yahwistic tradition. As opposed to those that "progressed". The only "progress" that Christians cite is the perfection of the sacrifice which creates a definitive juncture at which the sacrifice only needs to be remembered.

Fox is a network that relies on its version of Only Fans presenters dance only to the Murdoch's tunes. Cucker had to be sacrificed for the Dominion lawsuit sham involving Murdochs colluding with Dominion to work. Remember the trigger for the shutdown of counting was Fox's own deep Dem shill that ran the prediction desk then and still does. The Murdochs, as globalists, were in on Biden's steal.

Noticeably Cucker was not that upset as he already saw his next grift and the notoriety of being a 'true standup guy' for the Right made it an easy transition to podcasting.

Anyone expecting virtue in a media type is like expecting chastity from an Only Fans performer.

I learned by watching a series by an ex-Jewish Rabbi and scholar, turned Messianic Rabbi and scholar things I never expected to learn from my original dabbling in Christianity.

I had placidly accepted the idea that Judaism simply continued on, only difference was that they didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah.

However, long-standing doctrines of Biblical interpretation were changed because they were too effective for Christian evangelists. Thus, Christianity was carried forth with these long-standing pre-Christian interpretations of scripture. And the Teachers of the Law simply discontinued and forbade them.

Let me repeat that this is 180-degrees from my initial tacit expectations.

However, Megyn is mentoring and building up some GREAT talent in her new media empire. Link Lauren might be my fave, he's a gay Draco Malfoy lookalike with a Texas accent. Very funny.

And Maureen calls out celeb bad actors and does deep dives into psychology that I love. Her recurring pool of talent is great; the guy from Brooklyn just did a great deep dive on what's going on with Tom Brady and Traves Kelce.

So if megyn turns out to be ridiculous but helps millennial and gen z conservatives find their way and their audience, I can't totally throw her out with the bathwater. Yet.

There is this shared assumption that nuclear weapons are worse than anything else, and someone dying to an atom bomb is worse than from a regular bomb. Its ridiculous. People seem to think we're playing Defender and fire off Smart Bombs that only harm the bad guys. That 1000 pound bomb with TNT blew up babies and widows and old men in wheelchairs just as much as it did soldiers. The buildings damaged by bombs collapsed on families and SS officers equally.

The only difference between a conventional bomb and an atomic/nuclear one is the size of destruction. Instead of dropping 2,700 tons of bombs on Dresden, we could drop one Atomic bomb but ultimately the results are the same.

Yep, I prefer written sources because I read a lot faster than I can bear to listen to someone's spiel.

It is always harder and more exhausting, like in court, to actively listen for the false notes, the subtle inconsistencies, and the jumps in logic. In a written document, it is child's play. Because you can reread it over and over again while most people never have the patience to actually watch a video over and over again to pick up these.

227 For example, when Jesus talked about "Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit", he is referring to a long-standing authoritative interpretation that the only the Messiah could heal blindness and lameness that people were born with. Thus the Messiah would show himself to be Messiah by these acts.

"He has a demon" they said of the guy doing those acts. And the spirit that he had was the Holy Spirit.

The rank-and-file Pharisee confronting Jesus had no Schmeka (authority) to challenge any authoritative interpretation. So, scribes and teachers, with little authority, were basically saying that what had been held to be a sign of the Messiah, could be done with parlor tricks and a demon.

This is why I argue that most moderns cannot commit Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It requires a doctrine that only the Messiah could heal a man born blind and that would be a sign. Atheists don't believe in such an entity to be a condition to be *revealed*. The idea that there is a Messiah is as daft as the idea that there is a God. They also would more likely believe that Jesus' healings are not actual accounts, not things that they themselves investigated (per Gospels) and attributed to "demons

230 "The only "progress" that Christians cite is the perfection of the sacrifice which creates a definitive juncture at which the sacrifice only needs to be remembered."

And so JC is our high priest forever, after the order of Melchizedec (in Hebrews). But Hebrews also says there is no more Jew nor Gentile, but all are one in Christ Jesus. (and there can be fake Jews and fake Christians that do not believe or honor their scriptures)

The Great Mystery is the one body with Christ as the head, and we a joint heirs, members in particular. That is progress, we are no longer under the law. It is not about just remembering the sacrifice, it is about serving in the one body (not a denomination).

Bad enough in print but far easier to see and crosscheck (try reading a transcript of something like the Spew View show versus watching it). You will find all the demagogues' tricks while surprisingly little actual content. Video is aimed at our emotions. It presents little nuggets of fact without an obvious framework, while not including material omissions of fact and linkages of those facts unless you have direct knowledge otherwise.

This leads people to come up with their own conclusions that---ta da-- are what the presenter wanted them to think. They now proudly proclaim Gnostic knowledge by watching this show.

268 As a proud conservative feminist in the vein of Susan B Anthony, as fiercely pro life as she was, the mainstream feminists want nothing to do with me. It's been fascinating to do deep dives in each of the 3 main waves of feminism, and find out the facts that get buried.

Like that in every single wave of feminism, the elitist, most privileged, and most man hating of the women in those movements were all rabid, rabid antisemites. One of them in the 1800s ran a women's prep school, and tried to keep out Jewish girls because she was a crazy racist. Second wave 60s feminism has its share of antisemites. And now the modern 3rd wave has its Muslim members who want all the Jews exterminated.

It's a black eye for the women's movement, but it gets shoved down because it puts lefties in the wrong side if history. Can't have that!

Those people making the claim, "It was unnecessary! Ree!!!" are either ignorant or $s!t-stirrers. If you read anything about the planning for Operation Olympic, it's chilling.

I remember reading a memoir of a Marine who progressed from Rifleman to Captain via battlefield promotions, and he mentioned that he questioned why the Marine Division he was no longer the Operations Plan after about D-Day +2 or 3. The reply was, "Oh, youre Division is going to be combat-ineffective with over 66% casualties by then." The author admitted to loosing no sleep over nuking Japan.

We were also actively preparing to move troops from the European Theater of Operations to the Pacific Theater after Germany surrendered. Needless to say, the troops in the ETO weren't thrilled.

The Allies were close to exhaustion. The British and Commonwealth were just about done for. By 1945, the U.S. was doing all of the heavy lifting. The civilians were starting to get pretty antsy over the casualty numbers. Nuking Japan was necessary.

Honestly, I think its ok to question things. That is what history is for. I fully expect subsequent generations to question the decision as they will not have any first hand knowledge or touch any first hand source. And that is fine. But I also think a lot of it is just to be controversial and gain attention. But I also think that more people should ask the question ... have we used them enough? That's a far more intriguing question to me. Because whether we were justified or not is an easy answer.

295 I would add that most (almost all?) of the Japanese atrocities were inflicted on fellow Asians. So Europe and the USA had less reason to care. There is still deep hatred of Japan from the oldest generations of Chinese and Koreans. But they are all dead or dying, replaced by younger gens obsessed with J-Pop.

Posted by: Judge Elric The Blade at January 15, 2026 03:16 PM (iFTx/)

That, and I would speculate that we contemporaneously considered that we were far more in need of an Asian ally seeing how easily they steamrolled our Pacific holdings early on, looking at China, and in comparison, Europe was less of an urgent priority as Germany was utterly defeated in the burn-scatter-salt sense, and we could rely (yeah, I know) on European allies to address Russian expansionism (again this is speculation about contemporaneous thought).

Wise. The reason some of these disputes becomes so large is that the stakes are so small but they challenge identity as the one true denomination.

My thought is that the Father and Holy Spirit gave us the guidelines in teh Bible, and the Son gives us salvation, so the rest of it is arguing about minutia that does not affect the core teachings of salvation. While taken out of context, Jesus himself was the authority on the law by virtue of who he is, and thus his replies to religious authorities of the time are appropos.

I have no opinion on Dispensationalism or the salvation of others outside the Christian faith as that is for the holy Trinity, not me. For me, Jesus is the Way. YMMV.

On top of the brutality of the Japanese military, and the behavior of the civilians on Okinawa, a true genocide of the Japanese was a distinct possibility. Nuking Japan was the least-bad choice. The Japanese were not going to surrender until we made them.

If you need something to watch, the new Knives Out film was surprisingly respectful of Catholics!! Rian Johnson must have been a true believer at one point, but still has people in it he loves. Be sure it does a good job of ripping down the hypocrites and heretics, while being respectful of the true believers who actually try to walk the path of Christ. Highly recommend.

I feel like the first Knives out movie spoofed the creepy house rich party that ends in a murder. The second spoofed the ones of rich people in a glamorous location or island and then there's a murder. And this one spoofs the church clergy whodunits like father brown. Wonder what he'll do in the series next. This third one might be my fave.

My main point is that the sacrifice and cleansing by the sacrifice stays central in Christian symbology.

Now, I grant that there could be Jews out there who's main counter is valid. They can only sacrifice at the Temple in Jerusalem. That temple is no longer there, thus they cannot now do those rituals. And I'm pretty sure they do not know who's a Levite or a descendent of Aaron and who is not.

But I would reject other notions such that "I did not command you about sacrifice" means sacrifice is a atavism. Because that would fail to be more continuous with Jewish faith, regardless of whether or not Yahweh himself intended that change.

The destruction of the temple is not a clear message as to what was discontinued and why it was. More telling is the 40 years--documented in the Talmud--before the destruction where the Day of Atonement basically *failed*. The signs that Yahweh did not accept the sacrifice were *there*. The huge and heavy doors to the temple would not *stay closed*.

The destruction of the Temple was only the final sign that Yahweh had abandoned the Temple. Now what happend 40 years before?

310 Personally, I think you need to define antisemitism conclusively. I can honestly say I have a general dislike for their majority approach to American politics, and some would argue that their continued support of the left is deeply rooted in Judaism. I've read arguments that their continued support for the Left is a by-product of disdain for non-secular political parties. They immediately discount the Right because of the religious groups that make up bloc voting. The Right courts those blocs (as they should). And the Jewish Americans see that as a negative. Even a threat. Therefore, they put such high importance in their own prejudices towards other religions, that they gravitate towards the political party that discounts religion as a whole.

It's an interesting theory, but the flaw is that in most countries (other than the US), the Jewish populations will vote right of center. Just not in the US.

I grew up Catholic to Confirmation. I fully expect that a good number of Catholics are my brothers in Christ.

Catholics do seem to have been *way* ahead of a number of protestant mainstream branches on being really against abortion. Catholic services send a lot of money to the needy. Very scriptural.

However, my understanding of scripture has little to do with Catholic doctrine and I suspect it will continue to. Even though I've been a tad skeptical of external doctrines my entire Christian life. Including Sola Scriptura.

I've learned a HELL of a lot from Biblical scholars who know MORE than just the text of the Bible, but history and culture of the area which gives it shades. Greek word studies is also key.

355 Garrett's statement made me think of that. There are obviously asshole antisemite, im not going to make that argument, but how many of them are there really and how much is hypersensitivity.

God's word asserts that Israel will be a "cup of trembling" to the end.

Antisemitism is inherent in that. Not that antisemitism is "God's will", but simply part of the sin of man that is simply shaped into His plan.

356 If you need something to watch, the new Knives Out film was surprisingly respectful of Catholics!! Rian Johnson must have been a true believer at one point, but still has people in it he loves. Be sure it does a good job of ripping down the hypocrites and heretics, while being respectful of the true believers who actually try to walk the path of Christ. Highly recommend.

Many decades ago, I read a review of the movie Bull Durham. The critic asked rhetorically, how do make a great baseball movie? Make it about something besides baseball. I feel the same way about this movie. Johnson made a meditation on Christianity disguised as a murder mystery. No religious answers are given but issues are raised.

357 328 Hell, they are doing a 'The Burbs' (Tom Hanks) reboot with a black lady.

I always liked that movie.

358 It is not intentionally comedic but you see how the divine answers such theological questions in the Gospels. It is always something that the religious authorities never thought of and were dumbstruck by.

Boom. We should learn *humility* by this.

But we're us.

359 The Right courts those blocs (as they should). And the Jewish Americans see that as a negative. Even a threat. Therefore, they put such high importance in their own prejudices towards other religions, that they gravitate towards the political party that discounts religion as a whole.

One quick point. I would rephrase "prejudices towards other religions" as "suspicion of other religions". Still a prejudice but I think semantically it's closer. Many American Jews aren't even religious, but given their history still feel vulnerable. Heck some of them even distance themselves from Judaism because they feel it makes them more of a target. And of course the Left cultivates this.

An old expression.
The Old Testament is the New Testament Concealed.
The NT is the OT revealed.

361 It was the greatest act of mercy the US could have done to stop Japan from fighting to the end.

When Mitsuo Fuchida, the commander of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor met Paul Tibbets, the pilot of theEnola Gay , after the war, he told Tibbets that he was right to drop the bomb on Hiroshima. Fuchida was stationed in Hiroshima, but the night before the bombing he was called to Tokyo by the high command. Fuchida survived the Midway battle only because he was ill and in a hospital ship during the battle, which saw the loss of most of the rest of the Imperial Navy's experienced air wing. Fuchida later became a Christian Minister and evangelist.
