10 I heard of a study that had crazy results. They wanted to test how much microplastics affect men, and decided to test their semen. They purposely screened out men who work in microplastics or similar machinery.

Every man's semen had microplastics. 100%. It shocked the researchers.

The true elitism in the future will be if you can afford the machines that clean and filter our blood from all the crap we throw into it.

The director of one of Pregnancy support clinics near here claims that drugs from the RU-486 pill and flushed fetal contents are also getting into water supplies. I don't know about that but, if so, the impacts of that are horrifying.

That would not surprise me in the least. Gosnell wasn't the only one failing to properly dispose of dead babies and medical waste out there, I guarantee it. They have a tendency to cut corners (no gruesome pun intended) to juice their profit margins even if it means dumping biohazardous material in the trash or down the toilet.

I saw The Dead once in person (ex-girlfrend was older and a Height-Ashbury hippie from the late 60s in The Bay Area -- and insisted that I see them at least once in person); she some The Doors in person in S.F. and said Jim Morrison had an aura around him -- and she watched him perform (standing room only) while standing next to Carlos Santana.

Anywho, we saw them in Fairfield, CA in the early 90s -- and the only two people at that concert (everybody stood and danced for hours) who weren't stoned were me and her 12-year-old daughter. lol

They were happy for sure. It was one of those "sometimes it gets lucky, it gets special" nights, but the distinctive thing about that night is that somehow everything seemed easy, like they didn't even have to work to capture the specialness, the way they sometimes did, reaching and choosing more ambitiously to create something great. In this case, it was the easy looseness that made it special, and whatever that spark was, it was evident from the first moments of that Dancin/Franklin's opener.

Their problems are even worse than that, the same reason that their sugar crop (their historical cash generator this year was the worst since 1921.
All fuel (gas and diesel) is prioritized for government officials or the military. There is no gas or diesel available for agriculture, what little there is has gone back to horse or mule drawn plow. There also is no money for fertilizer or pesticides.
That part of their economy has already slipped back into 19th century tech levels, and the rest of it is headed there soon.
You might say that the Davos crowd will applaud this - but 19th century tech only supports 19th century population levels, at most 1/4 of what they are today.
