Pixy, I found a clip online that I really like and wanted to send to a friend, and it's on a site that aggregates clips and strips out (as far as I can tell) information about the original poster of the clip. I'm stumped; how can I track it? I've now found the clip on a second aggregating site, too.

"A pretty expensive camera, but a good one. $2799 for the camera alone, but offered alongside is a $470 45mm f/1.2 lens, which is a remarkable price for such a fast lens." - Pixy
Viltrox may have forced Canon's hand on this one by releasing some equally remarkable Pro, Lab and Air lenses over the last few years for both full frame and APS-C sensors. For example, the APS-C Air lenses come in at just under $200 and have optical characteristics of lenses that cost five times or more. I have a 25 mm for the Sony system and I concur from personal experience that they are excellent. Dustin Abbott, who does excellent reviews in a very consistent manner, has reviewed a number of these Viltrox lenses over the years. He still hasn't posted a review of the new Canon lens. Meanwhile, Christopher Frost, another solid lens reviewer, does have a review of the Canon 45mm up on YouTube. It does come with some challenges especially when wide open but for a sub $500 lens it's not bad says Mr. Frost. https://youtu.be/GTqgSjeDF8k Posted by: Alteria Pilgram - My President has convictions. at January 01, 2026 04:39 AM (HTCU3) 25

This was in a public school and it would never happen today. I always thought that this portion of dialogue And the Lord said unto Satan, “From whence comest thou?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down upon it.” was not unlike a parent asking a troublemaking child, "What were you doing?" and that child answering, "Nuthin'". Is TBD ( whose actual name escapes me) difficult to give a bath to? Posted by: FenelonSpoke at January 01, 2026 06:08 AM (Yl2Ob) Nobody is difficult to give a bath to. All of them are trained from a young age to stand quietly while being bathed and groomed. We have a long elevated plastic tub for bathing and Delilah, indeed, used to leap into it. The only little difficulty is grinding nails. All sighthounds become passive-aggressively balky about their nails. We have a special diamond-grit Dremel bit designed to dissipate the heat of grinding, but it's still best if two people work on them. Strange to say, it's the regular show dogs who object the most, likely because they're done shorter than the stay-at-homes. Re perhelion. This, over long term time scales is one of the main drivers of the Milankovich cycles. Due to the precession of the equinoxes (the wobble of the earth's spin axis), which has a period of about 26,000 years, plus another thing dubbed apsidal precession, where perhelion itself precesses eastward, perihelion thus walks around the seasons. The period varies from 23,000 to 28,000 years. Anyway, in next half of the cycle, perihelion will happen near the summer solstice, and northern summer will be the closest to the sun. The Green Sahara cycle is related to this. When perihelion occurs in Northern summer, the Sahara gets wet and green again. My new pinup art calendar probably won't be here for a couple of weeks. A good thing my existing calendar has a page with the next three months on it, so I can mark appointments as needed.

Don't know where that 28,000 year thing in my head came from. The earth's tilt varies from 24.5 to 22.1 degrees with 41K year period. It's currently at 23.44 degrees and decreasing. Now, earth's eccentricity varies in a very complex cycle with a rough period of about 100,000 years. There a complicated beat pattern there, too. That is currently decreasing as well. The greater the eccentricity, the wider the variation in perihelion and aphelion distance. So, at this point in the cycle, earth is getting more circular and less tilted.
