Blonde M., before it got discovered, the perfect trick for the harbor show was to go to NTC (Liberty Station). Nobody there. Parking everywhere. Just put up your beach chair in that enormous park. One of the fireworks barges is just a bit west off Shelter Island, so, great view (except when marine layer comes in).
Now? Calcutta. Word has spread. And, best part, the exit from that was instant. Nimitz over to the 8, bingo, off to the east. Was home in 15 minutes. So a few years ago the SDPD, inexplicably, simply closed off the 8 entrance from Nimitz. Between the crowds that have discovered the NTC thing, and the 8 limit, haven't bothered to go in a few years. It's amazing how many great little tricks and workarounds still exist in the now-overpopulated area, equally amazing how they get discovered, ruined, neutralized. December 31: FBI taking on public corruption As we wrap up 2025, your @FBI has an update for you on our efforts to crush public corruption and restore trust in federal law enforcement. This is one of the most important efforts we’ve undertaken at the Bureau. You deserve to have confidence in your public officials - and to know that justice will be applied without fear or favor. That has not been the case in recent history. We have been working day and night to rebuild that confidence. These are very much ongoing investigations - much of which we cannot discuss publicly out of respect for the investigative process, Constitutional presumption of innocence, and the judicial process. Equally - there are many public corruption investigations going on as we speak that the public may know very little about - or even none at all. In less than a year, here is some of what we’ve undertaken: X: https://bit.ly/4sfQ2Md Posted by: Clyde Shelton at December 31, 2025 08:26 PM (P5BPp) 117

Not only 50-year moratorium, but denaturalize and deport all third worlders already here now.
The Conservative Alternative @OldeWorldOrder We need another round of the Immigration Act of 1925. It's been 100 years. The last time the foreign-born population was this high, we had a 50-year immigration moratorium. Charlie tried to warn us in the months before he was kiIIed. Charlie Kirk @charliekirk11 It's time to ban third world immigration, legal or illegal. We've reached our limit and we have a huge cultural, educational, housing, financial and essential services problem to fix now because of it. We need a net-zero immigration moratorium with a ban on all third worlders. Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog Ban all third world immigration. Legal or illegal. There should be a moratorium on all immigration from the third world. We've reached our capacity. We cannot be the world's soup kitchen anymore. The concept of "Kara shem" is what tripped up Ussher and many others trying to date the Bible. God uses the OT Patriarchs to date things and gives the ages of many. The "begats" are only helpful is you know the concept of "Kara shem" (call the name). Many of the begats are not a direct father/son, but can be father, grandfather, ggf, and so on. Only the kara shem relationships are direct father/son. So, Ussher was off by thousand of years.

The diagnosis came after a nine-month odyssey that Hanson described as frustrating and elusive. The condition, he noted, was rare for someone who neither smokes nor drinks. A biopsy finally provided answers. ...yesterday, he underwent major surgery at Stanford Medical Center.

In a nice coincidence of the current astronomical epoch, Sirius is just about dead opposite the Sun in right ascension on New Year's Eve.
This means it transits at almost dead on local midnight within just a couple of minutes or so. Jupiter is also very near opposition (Jan 10), so it will be close to transit as well. So, ring in the local time New Year right when Sirius transits. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (w6EFb) at December 31, 2025 09:57 PM (w6EFb) 291

Trump's saying he's going to get that money back. That's one way if he can show states incompetency or complicity. This might be a fun year to come.
