Indiana's NIL numbers are not the highest, but they are playing in the big leagues and their coach is the real deal. Alabama's coach screwed up early on the 4th down call - if Alabama can't get any traction in the next half a quarter, this game is over. And IU will win the national championship. Pretty crazy, the rest of us Big Ten types are going to be waiting for his retirement so we have a chance. At least I can stop hating Ohio State so much.

Saw one small story today that has convinced me that Iran’s government truly will collapse this year. (Who knows the timing). Remember this is happening because Iran currently has 50% unemployment and 40% inflation. Fuel prices were always kept extremely low, but in an attempt to get control of their fiscal catastrophe the government has been raising those prices quite a bit, which has hit everyone very hard.
So today a government minister announced they have a plan to make everything affordable again - they are going to print up a lot more money so everyone will have plenty. What could possibly go wrong. Posted by: Tom Servo at January 01, 2026 06:10 PM (m7iZ5) 61

My team was kept out of the playoff by the pro-SEC bias. And we won our bowl game. The Texas Tech loss was bad. I get upset when I feel like we fucked up. We're just getting beat like a rented redhaired stepmule. Posted by: toby928(c) has drink taken at January 01, 2026 07:01 PM (jc0TO) 187

'Future Leaders Learning Center in Minneapolis has donated over $6 million to Democrats in the last 2 years' Of course. Giving the money back to the democrats closes the circle of bribery. The 'Rats steal the money from the taxpayers. They give it to their friends. And their friends 'donate' it back. Posted by: Dr. Claw at January 01, 2026 07:10 PM (fd80v) 197

I might start watching Always Sunny now.
Remember when we were kids and we thought someday the real truth would come out? About Lindbergh baby kidnapping, Pearl Harbor, JFK/RFK/MLK assassinations, Gulf of Tonkin, Watergate, did J Edgar Hoover wear dresses?, Clintoncides, 9/11, War on Terror, BHO's birth certificate and Big Mike's gender at birth, and how the hell did that jug eared Commie rise so fast?, autopen, Pence as a Deep Stater, 2020 election fraud, Epstein's convenient execution/suicide. It is endless. We need a Festivus with an airing of grievances, open up all the files and let the truths out. And deport every f'n Somali and Muslim that is not a certified ally.
