22 If you can, connect with your router/WAP and determine whether it is a network problem from your internet provider or your individual computer.

My guess is a localized ISP internet outage if your phone can still reach its LTE networks.

67 Check your ISP's outage map.
Can you connect to your router via wired connection instead of wirelessly? If you can and you still have troubles, it's not the wifi.
In cmd prompt, you can do a ipconfig /flushdns
Then do a ipconfig /renew

If that doesn't fix it, you can try
ipconfig
find the "Default gateway" ip address
ping 192.168.1.1 (or whatever the address is)
if you get a reply for the pings, then try
ping google.com
if you get a reply, it's not the network

We can do more if none of that helps.

Ironically, despite being the running joke in IT crowd, it often does solve a fair number of problems with computers.

One key thing to remember, wait at least 30 seconds to a minute before restarting to clear caches, etc.

80 Kindltot- from below- what is your doctor telling you on that slow research and statin use? I am not a doctor, nurse or any other medical professional. I believe strongly there are way more considerations than simply seed oils in heart attack increases. Diet overall, exercise, side effects of medications, prescriptions being given out without a wholistic approach (are you seeing a dietitian? Advised to take CoQ10? Berberine?) Have your doctors looked at your insulin resistance which can play a big role here, too? I don’t want the funeral to be yours either!

111 Under other cicrcumstances, the press conference with the Rhode Island authorities last night — the mayor, the police chief, the Rhode Island governor and attorney general, the president of Brown — might have been played for comedy. The politicians celebrated Providence and Rhode Island. Long on happy talk and self-contgratulation, they seemed to me short on the facts of the case. Like comic buffoons, they are full of themselves. Boston FBI Special Agent in Charge Ted Docks provided a striking contrast.

The aptly named Providence Mayor Brett Smiley might be able to rescue Saturday Night Live from its doldrums. Brown President Christina Paxson could play Smiley’s clueless foil. Providence Police Chief Colonel Oscar Perez, Jr. seemed like a throwback to Garrett Morris’s Chico Escueala in the glory days of SNL.

What bonhomme says. Usual problem is DNS in accessing network, I have rarely seen, other than a driver issue on update, wifi chips stop working.

Usually either an ISP issue or software issue on the device.

I don't even think I have had a router or a modem fail but then again, I buy new ones on a 2 year basis due to increased security technology and higher throughput.

133 64 Sounds like you may have an expired certificate on your machine. Refresh your IP

79 67 Check your ISP's outage map.
Can you connect to your router via wired connection instead of wirelessly? If you can and you still have troubles, it's not the wifi.
In cmd prompt, you can do a ipconfig /flushdns
Then do a ipconfig /renew

If that doesn't fix it, you can try
ipconfig
find the "Default gateway" ip address
ping 192.168.1.1 (or whatever the address is)
if you get a reply for the pings, then try
ping google.com
if you get a reply, it's not the network

We can do more if none of that helps

Unfortunately, the more complete way to completely shut down your computer and restart it is.... restart.

Ironically, the "shut down" option, just saves your RAM to disk and turns off the power. And then when you turn back on the power, the OS notices that it was shut down and just loads the image back into memory.

Oh, no. The cardiologist just places stents and has a list of meds to provide, the naturopath passed me to her DO who normally does Rx and the like, and he doesn't read charts.
As for the rest, yes I do all that stuff on my own, also Nattokinase and Bromelain seem to help in some cases but I don't have any direct imaging to help figure out if it is working in my case, and it is definitely not "standard of care".
Standard of care is statins and future stents.

Piper, metabolic syndrome is a complex of issues, and it is starting to be recognized that they are interconnected, and no MD I have dealt with seems to care about any of it. Liver, Pancreas, lipidemia, arteriosclerosis and being overweight are all involved, but arteriosclerosis may be more to do with high blood pressure and damage to the epithelial cells, and of course scarring due to stents. I am told that a zero cholesterol diet may help in about 8 -12 months once my body scavenges it all to protect my nerve sheathes, but it seems as wise as reducing scarring by going on a zero vitamin C diet and hoping the scurvy doesn't kill me first.

Have you blown out the dust in the modem using compressed air recently? Heat is an electronic killer over time and dust on components acts an insulator not allowing heat to escape from capacitors, etc.

Same reason ROKU boxes, and other fanless electronic devices fail over time as well.

Before they fail, they often work intermittently where when the heat gets too much, they shut down. Eventually the components get fried.

Fannie Mae employees are not federal employees; Fannie Mae is a Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) that is privately owned but operates under federal conservatorship by the FHFA (Federal Housing Finance Agency), meaning its workers are private sector, not government employees, though the FHFA employees overseeing them are federal

I have a little more respect for Ace than to believe he would try to hotspot a phone that already can't connect to the internet.

Phones don't have to hotspot in order to connect to the internet, so if the phone was not connecting, why would you take the extra step of hotspotting?

It reminds me of the Kids in the Hall skit where Bruce McCulloch plays a guy whose car won't start and knows nothing about car mechanics, and goes around doing things like lifting the wipers and repeatedly says "Try it now".

295 To all "Retards" (as you call yourselves, no?)

This is to notify that Qatar has purchased the Ace of Spades HQ website and is in the process of relocating it to Qatar.

We have a beautiful city and are a major US ally that hosts the largest American military base in the Middle East.

We believe an American and a free man such as Mr. Ace will find Qatar to be a comfortable home.

Salam Alaykum

300 Apple is known to bork devices to force OS upgrades.

They actually don’t but people are at a cargo cult level with computers so the first thing at hand that isn’t PEBKAC always gets blamed.

Developer betas do sometime bork Bluetooth but that’s not appreciably different from the normal state of Bluetooth. And normies definitely shouldn’t run those.

308 If Ace has a "smart TV" or Roku and it can access Internet, it's not the home router. A smart phone will sometimes failover to the cell tower... making you think the ISP or home network is fine.

That would be helpful to know. And probably indicate the issue is with the PC, it's network interface, or its configuration is borked.

312 32 billion in losses for just one manufacturer, all for the goal of electrifying our transportation.

In what world not involving massive government subsidies did they think they were going to recoup those expenditures, much less make a profit?
A first year marketing student, or accounting student, could do a rudimentary 5 minute google search and find that demand would never be there.

I'd truly like to feel bad for corporations that knuckle under to the pressure from the feds, but at some point they've earned this loss.

Better than nothing. The cans of compressed air can be found at Walmart in the TV section, office supply, etc. Or if you have an oilless air pump for cars, etc. lying around.

Hard to safely clean electronics other than vacuuming or compressed air. Risk of static electricity.
