Finn is home. They were not able to diagnose his problem. He has fluid in his chest and he was coughing up bright red blood.
A couple of years ago Finn's brother Val was similarly coughing up blood. A course of antibiotics cured him. We're hoping the same treatment works for Finn.

Most of social media videos can't be trusted anymore. YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, X, whatever. Anywhere there are videos, you can't trust anything you're seeing. Whether it's the AI slop or the stupid filters people use to make cover up all their imperfections or the deepfake videos.
Just can't trust anything. I guess it fits considering we are no longer a high-trust society (or even a low-trust for that matter) in general.

xcancel worked for me with Brave. I keep Opera handy. For example, Brave renders, Sign in to confirm etc. . Put it on Opera and it runs.

There's a black comedy movie named Mountainhead that gets into this topic with wars starting worldwide because of the spread of an AI on a social media platform. It allows users to make free AI generated videos, and it becomes impossible to tell what's real and what's true very quickly. The mainstream media's entire job becomes sorting out what is AI. The chaos intensifies while everybody, including the president, pressures the site owner to turn off the free AI video generation feature to stop a potential WWIII.

She fell coming down one of our stairs back then. A really bad break, her foot folded under and she completely sheared both sides, fibula and tibula, tore all her ligaments. They put a lot of steel on both sides to hold everything together while she healed. But after a year the hardware has caused various nerve issues, pinching and compression and the NDI (mri I think) has showed a good bit of tissue inflammation. So they're taking it all out tomorrow.
That's my way of asking everyone for prayers for my dear wife's safe surgery tomorrow and quick healing.

Also, very sorry to hear about the dementia situation, man. Old Paco suffered from occasional bouts in the last year or so of his life, generally coinciding with infections. Even though he lives in south/central North Carolina, he somehow got the notion that Mexican drug dealers were digging tunnels on his 40-acre property. My brother, who was his principal caregiver, dutifully went out in the pasture with a long piece of re-bar and reported back after a while that no tunnels had been detected. My father-in-law developed Parkinson's, and gradually fell prey to dementia, also. He used to hold imaginary board meetings in his kitchen, and once ordered one of his sons out of the room because he wasn't a director.
The human mind is a wonderful thing, but when it goes wrong, the effects are often devastating.

Talking to Pookette, the whole thing sounds like bragging/teasing/flirting that got waaaay out of hand. (He's been a bit sweet on her in the past.) She's moving on, but that kid is definitely on her "never-gonna-date" list. And she knows that Pooky will back her up if need be. I'm curious how Future Boyfriend will react if/when he hears about it, he adores Lil Pooky (and Pookette, obviously).

I’ve read the same things, and it makes sense, because the biggest goal is crushing Maduro’s finances, in order to break his regime.
And that actually does MORE in the long run to cut drugs to the US, because if Maduro falls both Cuba and Columbia will be destabilized, and the entire framework within which the cartels operate could be overturned.
Trump is playing a much bigger game here than most people can grasp. Together with Rubio he’s trying to remake the entire western hemisphere.

Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.
The truth is the Trump White House has already accomplished more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years and that is due to the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade.
