DOJ Sues Six Democrat-Controlled States to Force Them to Clean Up Their Dirty Fraudulent Voting Rolls

The DOJ is suing six Democrat-controlled states for refusing to turn over their voter registration rolls for checking for fraud.

Gee I wonder why they're refusing. I was informed, for example, that 2020 featured the most secure and honest vote in history.

The Justice Department has sued six Democrat-led states for refusing to provide their voter registration rolls.
The department announced Tuesday that it filed all six lawsuits against Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
"Accurate voter rolls are the cornerstone of fair and free elections, and too many states have fallen into a pattern of noncompliance with basic voter roll maintenance," Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement. "The Department of Justice will continue filing proactive election integrity litigation until states comply with basic election safeguards."

"Our federal elections laws ensure every American citizen may vote freely and fairly," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the DOJ's Civil Rights Division said.
"States that continue to defy federal voting laws interfere with our mission of ensuring that Americans have accurate voter lists as they go to the polls, that every vote counts equally, and that all voters have confidence in election results. At this Department of Justice, we will not stand for this open defiance of federal civil rights laws."

John Solomon says the actual number of Democrat states being forced to clean up their voter rolls is 26. I suppose that twenty agreed to do so when demanded, and six refused, necessitating the suit.

He says this will have big implications for 2026.

Via Stephen Green at Instapundit, the GOP might just (bitterly) cling to power in 2026.

"As of right now, I'd say there is a modest bias in the overall House map" in favor of the GOP retaining control of the House, said Kyle Kondik, managing editor of Sabato's Crystal Ball, a nonpartisan organization that analyzes House races.
At the independent Cook Political Report, Erin Covey, U.S. House editor, had the same edge for the GOP.
"The very slight gain for Republicans, one to two seats, is the median scenario," she said.
All this could change as state after state tries to redraw congressional maps to favor the party in power.

The administration's been pretty quick on the appeals that get the Hawaiian judges overruled. There aren't really many rulings of that nature that are still in force, and meanwhile it's draining money from liberal billionaires.

The only conservative podcaster I could stand to listen to every day was Rush (AM not FM.) Even though he had different musicals and cultural tastes and was my dad's age. There are so few actual swing seats since 2020. The biggest effect of the redistricting there (aside from the fraud at the Census Bureau) was to minimize swing seats.

Outside a complete collapse of a party right now, wave elections will probably mean something like 15-20 seats, tops, for a few cycles.

This is making this redistricting battle more important. If D's were heading towards a wave of 20 seats, but the GOP can undo 10 of those, well, that's a much small majority for D's.

That's the one on the list of 6 that interests me most. I'm convinced that the fraud in states along the border is massive. A state like New Mexico is ((IMO) a fence sitter. As a result, it always votes to the left via fraud. A state like Arizona leans right, so it becomes a toss up each election due to fraud.

And, more importantly, I think the motivating parties behind a lot of the fraud isn't necessarily the democrats (although they facilitate it). I believe the primary fingers in the pie are drug cartel related, and it's another reason why Trump is so focused on Venezuela.

Netflix has a new adaptation of Beowulf. I got excited until I saw the picture accompanying the description. It, of course, had a black warrior. Now, I have nothing against a black warrior in an appropriate setting, but I'm gonna guess that they were not exactly common in the Beowulf setting, and that tells me what I need to know about the show.

Decades ago, the supreme court ruled that anyone born in the U.S. is a us citizen. But that ruling is a bit debatable. It concerned a man born int he U.S., to non-American parents, HOWEVER the parents were here legally. This conforms to the constitution, which says that the children of legal residents (with a few exceptions) are Americans. Trumps' executive order says, well, the court never said a thing about the children of ILLEGAL residents. That is what is in doubt. And in that case the constitution actually says, the children of certain non-Americans are in fact not Americans at birth.

It is not as cut and dried as it seems, and the executive order was designed to test that.
