8 The often repeated phrase, there is no end to ricing your linux, is a true maxim.

I just spent the last couple of hours setting up figlet an lolcat to randomly select a phrase from a phrase txt file and random font to display every time a terminal is open, the phrases are well known movie and tv phrases.

I have now put together another list of bible verses, I will now spend the next several hours trying to create a method of taking the movie phrases and bible phrases and mashing them up.

The hardest part is how to parse each phrase and put them together so they make sense and aren't either gibberish or simply a non-contextual concatenation.

I make what we call 'PA German Stuffing' - but it's not. It's mashed potatoes mixed with cooked bacon, butter, sausage, celery, butter, onion, a few bread crumbs, butter, a bit of garlic, butter, and then place in a baking dish and bake at 325 for 30-40 minutes or so. Oh yeah, top with more pat of butter.

65 lMy day. Frantically fixing code this morning. I thought I had it working but there was a bug and it was spamming about 15 people every hour. Finally I got it working correctly. Did some other things, and was dragging and I made the mistake of waiting until shortly after 3:30pm to finish up a couple of other things. Of course everyone had quit early. For the day before T-day its actually good that they were around till a bit after 3. Sometimes on thursday afternoons earlier than that I have merge or other requests and they will sit until Friday morning. With luck the person that has to do the 15 minute ops check this evening will do my merges. Life is simpler when the system is a bit out of whack and we can do our own merges.

I'm invited to neighbors and "you don't have to bring anything". I'm not a horrible cook but its been a busy work week so I'm glad they issued the invite that way and I just bought some K-cups to bring for a hostess gift.

Afghan National, born in 1996, armed with a revolver ambushed a female guardsman, shooting her in the head, and a male guardsman, shot multiple times. They never saw it coming. Both guardsmen were armed.

A Major in the National Guard, who was unarmed and doing his spot checks of the guardsmen was in the block, heard the shots and turned to see the shooter who spotted him. He took cover behind a truck.

The suspect came for the Major who pulled out his pocket knife, and bravely took on the suspect who was reloading his revolver.

The Major began stabbing the suspect in the head.

Another guardsman in the area who was armed, them drew his pistol and shot the suspect twice, once in the leg and once in the buttocks.

The Major stated that when the suspect began shooting he heard him shout, Allahu akbar!”

I just briefed [omitted].

Now, you know too.

There’s more: we trying to confirm if the suspect, an Afghan national was an interpreter brought over by Biden, because he has a Department of Defense record. Again, we are trying to confirm.
