The True Story of Thanksgiving
Rush Limbaugh: https://bit.ly/4riGcst William Bradford, the governor of the Pilgrim community, saw that none of this was working. The Mayflower Compact was not working. Giving everybody a single share of stock in the common store, in the common bank was not working. Collectivism. It was as costly and destructive to the Pilgrims as it is and has been to anybody who has ever tried it. So Bradford decided to scrub it. He threw it out and took bold action. He assigned a plot of land to each family. Every family was given a plot of land. They could work it, manage it however they wanted to. If they just wanted to sit on it, get fat, dumb, happy, and lazy, they could. If they wanted to develop it, if they wanted to grow corn, whatever on it, they could. If they wanted to build on it, they could do that. If they wanted to turn it into a quasi-business, they could do whatever they wanted to do with it. He turned loose the power of the capitalist marketplace. Posted by: Clyde Shelton at November 27, 2025 11:21 AM (P5BPp) 26

Some factual facts (not to be confused with the fictional facts that I usually post)
The Mayflower Compact was the result of landing in the wrong spot. The Pilgrims had a charter for land further south, but navigating to that area after already pretty much harboring in Plymouth would have been too much of a hassle. Some of the Pilgrims were heard to be saying that because they were outside the charter area, they were not bound to live by the rules within it. The leaders of the group decided it would be a good idea to gather everybody together and get a formal agreement of how things woukd run tonprevent anarchy before actually landing onshore. They then sent somebody back get a charter for their actual location. Posted by: tankdemon at November 27, 2025 11:36 AM (IxQNO) 61

Via Parkersburg, WV News & Sentinel newspaper:
The 29-year-old suspect, an Afghan national, entered the U.S. in 2021 through Operation Allies Welcome, a Biden administration program that evacuated and resettled tens of thousands of Afghans after the U.S. withdrawal from the country, officials said. The initiative brought roughly 76,000 people to the U.S., many of whom had worked alongside U.S. troops and diplomats as interpreters and translators. It has since faced intense scrutiny from Trump and his allies, congressional Republicans and some government watchdogs over gaps in the vetting process and the speed of admissions, even as advocates say it offered a lifeline to people at risk of Taliban reprisals.
Democrats' brains are so clogged with propaganda that they cannot grasp the basic logic of how the Sedition 6's inflammatory rhetoric could lead to US soldiers being murdered, so let me break down the obvious logic trail for the midwits: 1. The Sedition 6 implied that the things Trump ordered were unlawful orders. 2. Thus, any soldier doing his or her job as instructed by Trump and the chain of command was carrying out unlawful orders -- a war crime. 3. A shooter would therefore believe he was justified in shooting war criminals. It's pretty easy to understand for those with functioning brains. Terminal ballistics is a weird macabre field where bullet placement, bullet design/wt, and velocity along with differences in human anatomy interplay with each other. One LEO in NM was killed despite wearing a bulletproof vest by an 45-70 slug to the chest. Put it in perspective: This video was crafted in the middle of important strikes in the Caribbean and mounting pressure against both Maduro/Venezuela but also China/Russia's influence in this hemisphere. So Soros nonprofits are trying to sabotage the U.S. military in conjunction with high-ranking federal officials, in the middle of important conflicts and pressure campaigns - and just presented it as "patriotic veterans and Congress want you to stand up to Orange Man for your Country." It's truly despicable stuff and the timing is not only suspicious, but dangerous. X: https://bit.ly/4afmwQ3 DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican Alex Soros also sits on the board for International Crisis Group, who contains at least one Cartel de los Soles denier @philgunson and just wrote a New York Times article trying to support the war. Gunson also amplifies Elias Ferrer, who I think is one of the biggest scumbags on earth. He was just exposed as being involved in a Signal group with oil and Western government officials to collude to stop Trump for the interests of Big Oil. 165 Word on the street is, you can download a .357 with .38s or even 9mm with a cylinder change on certain models.
Posted by: Johnny the Shoeshine Guy ===== 9mm is not a good round for snubbie revolvers due to the tendency in light weight snubbies to literally pull the bullets in the cylinders out of a taper crimp. Revolver rounds use roll crimps for a reason. And yes, you can shoot 38+p or 38 in a 357. Most of the convertible cylinder revolvers in 357 are actually single action due to ease of conversion. But over time, what happens is you have to literally scrape the cylinder ends to remove fouling if you do it enough--lead bullets produce the most fouling--sometimes enough to cause pressure spikes or prevent bullet seating for 357s over time. Best to simply buy a 38+p rated revolver in the first place. They are usually a bit lighter and cheaper due to the much lower pressures of a 38+p. Reloaders, of course, have a choice. 357 Magnum brass is easily reloaded to 38+p, 38 spc, or even 38+p+ levels without the fouling problem mentioned above. Anytime you have a sights on a firearm, you need to recheck for zero if you change bullet wt, velocity, or pressure. Posted by: whig at November 27, 2025 12:13 PM (WDjG6) 201

Don't know if this was covered in the Morning Report or comments, as I just got here.
Mother Viola Ford Fletcher, born May 10, 1914, in Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the remarkable age of 111. At the age of 7, Mother Viola survived the Tulsa Race Massacre. …the oldest living survivor. Didn't know they'd replaced "riot" with "massacre," but it is, alas, more descriptive. Ref. Pilgrim monkey. “I believe our Heavenly Father invented man because he was disappointed in the monkey. I believe that whenever a human being, of even the highest intelligence and culture, delivers an opinion upon a matter apart from his particular and especial line of interest, training and experience, it will always be an opinion of so foolish and so valueless a sort that it can be depended upon to suggest our Heavenly Father that the human being is another disappointment and that he is no considerable improvement upon the monkey.” Mark Twain

Yes, the Pilgrims hunted for some of their Thanks giving dinner. According to a letter by pilgrim Edward Winslow, the colony’s governor sent four men to go “fowling,” that is, to hunt for birds, in the days prior to the celebration. It is believed that the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people who celebrated with them hunted and served wild fowl, like geese, duck, or turkey.
