Fun fact: My very first hunting kill was a wild turkey. I was eight at the time. We had him for Christmas dinner and he was a LOT better than the domestic variety. No turkey this year. Game hen instead. And funny enough, every single item that has to go in the oven for today's dinner bakes at 350 degrees, making dinner prep infinitely easier. Well, must go start cutting things up. Thanks for NOT using the standard Norman Rockwell painting. As they said in vaudeville, "That's been done." One morning, there were 8 wild turkeys gathered in front of the front door, of which I managed to get a photo. I used that photo for a while as the background on my office computer.
