I walked back to the table and asked one of my co-workers who had been to the place before. Once he explained the symbols, it sort of made sense. Another time however I just walked obliviously into the women's even though it was clearly marked. Fortunately no one was in there and I saw the marker when exiting.

What kind of truck? Step one, add a bottle of automatic transmission treatment to the transmission. May help some seals to seal better. Step two, have fluid and filter changed. If taking the pan off reveals a large amount of black sludge, I'd suggest getting the transmission rebuilt. Find a good local transmission shop. Some of the Morons in your part of Texas could maybe give you a line on who to go to.

Mechanic at the dealer. I think a fluid flush can't hurt but this symptom started very recently, so I don't think I want them putzing around beyond that.

Entertained some EMT's who said everything was normal, which is a feat and cause for celebration. Son made me see my doc this week. Scared my grands, which broke my heart in pieces. I will heed the warning in the future (I feel hot when it's not hot).Rare.
Told my husband about my panic and he had me walk around the park today to prove that I am not dying (yet). And we will sit in the back of the church on Sunday to be safe, with a bottle of water in my purse.
Here I was very happy that the holidays are upon us. Carefree. Oh, no, said the doctors. You need this to finish out your wonky year!
While I hope all is normal and just one of my bi-decade faints, I also hope the cardiologist is busy til 2026. I have no symptoms and was dehydrated like last time. And I don't like early mornings with crap sleep. Plus being stupid. Very stupido to "push through."

'07 F150. I would have no clue about removing the pan myself unfortunately. Dealer is supposed to be doing the fluid flush so if that doesn't help then yeah, I'll go to a transmission shop. (Irritated that it came on so quickly, seemingly... mutter mutter...)

Thank you. The rational side of my brain says all will be well. The insane bits freak out, although my EKG is "normally abnormal" with a LBBB for over 3yrs. Asymptomatic. I know what heart flutters feel like and I did not have them nor any signs of a MI. I just felt hot for 15min and knew better to ignore this, as it happened 4yrs ago with similar feelings. The first time I got the full ED work up of brain and heart. I was found to have both that were normal.
When the first people asked me questions and I answered fine and included that I was mortified, I passed the tests and got wheeled into the church library. Then I began the apology tour of apologizing to EMT's and anyone who looked at me.
Some days I should just stay in bed.

Well, Morgan, I have a counterpoint: you only say that because you woke up inside. If you'd woken up outside to knee-deep snow, you'd know that you're almost definitely going to freeze to death, and it can't hurt too much to be pissed off about it.

The fix is generally to take about 2/3rds of the women’s bathrooms and convert them to men’s. This results in some awkward moments.
M and W are often grouped so you’ll get ladies accidentally walking into the M next to the other M.
My first time I walked in, noticed no urinals, just stalls, stepped into a stall & took care of business. Turning around I noted a hook near the bottom of the stall door. “Hmm, what’s that, to hang something, a purse maybe… OH SHIT.” I tried stealthily running out. But double checked the sign and it was men’s.

Thank you, Mary. It is not often I make a huge scene, but I made one. I am sure our 4yr old granddaughter told her PreK teacher that I briefly died the next day, bless her.
Sons laughed that I was immediately concerned if my underwear was showing when they flung me in the wheelchair across a pew. My second thought of vanity was when the EMT's put leads on my ankles that I had not put lotion on my legs that morning.
A day later I asked my husband if my mouth was open and if my tongue was hanging out.
I was brought up with cartoons and remember the drawings of dead people with tongues lagging and X for eyes. I guess I kept my mouth closed, for once.

That company is having early black friday sales. One of their daily specials is a really nice monitor for free with a PC purchase. I'm debating whether to pick that special or the $100 off. I just can't seem to press the buy button. As I said, I really don't want to stop using my Dad's last PC to me. I'm so mad it's giving me issues and Dad couldn't get it fixed.

I think I've used unisex potties in Europe, but nothing happened that I can recall.
The one main potty I will remember in Europe was the self cleaning one in Paris. I was flipped out the entire wee that it would start cleaning with me in there. I was very fast.

One place I worked at had a sorta neat way to prevent really embarrassing incidents. The restrooms had a little vestibule as you opened the door. The men's room was painted a light blue, and the ladies was painted pink.
This really didn't help for visitors, but employees absorbed this unconsciously. When you pushed open the door, the "wrong" color woke up people running on automatic.
This was needed because, for some reason I never determined, in one building the men's was the left of two adjacent doors on the first floor, and on the right on the second floor.

Thanks. This makes me feel a bit better. I haven't felt this mortified since I messed up my cheer for tryouts in front of the entire HS...with the football players in the front rows. They all said they voted for me. In fact boys I never met said this. One guy told me years later, Mr. High School and football guy (I was sitting in his lap on New Year's Eve at a party) that he'd never forget it and remembers no one else's.
My almost 16yr old diary says it was the end of the world. I am not quite that dramatic this week, but close.

I saw him in something recently. I forget what it was. But, it was rather depressing. He's always been know for his voice in a narrative sense. Unique, excellent, almost calming. I was a marching band nerd, so not a cheerleader. We learned in marching band not to stand with our knees locked, so as to not pass out.
I had to give myself injections for MS and could do that. Someone else doing it in a medical setting = I could pass out. It makes no sense.

I know a bit about getting inside of PCs and futzing around. As others said, you may need a new power supply (easy to unplug, replace and reinstall) or maybe even just a dusting using some compressed air. Plus reinstalling the OS can't hurt.
If I were you, I'd try all three of these options before spending big bucks on a new machine. Just my two cents.

Windows and my main game are on the SSD. All my other files are on a separate HDD and I have an external HDD that I backup my internal HDD to every now and then. So if anything goes screwy with windows, my important stuff like pictures will remain untouched. The game is easy to just download and re-install.

First thing to check, absolutely. Take the unit outside, open it up, and brush out the motherboard, especially around the processor. Are all the fans running? Rebooting and lock ups usually indicate the processor is overheating. Check online for how to access your computer's BIOS diagnostics. Usually holding F10 while the unit reboots. Follow the menus from there..

Speaking of Christmas lights, I'm breaking my long standing rule of not decorating for Christmas until at least the 2nd Sunday of Advent. My mom will be with us for Thanksgiving, and I thought it would be fun for her help. The star we have for our tree is a gaudy vintage disco version, where the cylinder inside spins and throws rainbows all over the ceiling. The kicker: it's the star my parents had the first Christmas after they married, in 1965. I have such fond childhood memories of the ghastly thing. 😎

I had to give myself injections for MS and could do that. Someone else doing it in a medical setting = I could pass out. It makes no sense.

What did you play? We had eight years of saxophone and/or trumpet with our sons.
Our house was noisy and our Golden hated the trumpet. All he had to do was see it out of the case and he took himself to his crate (in the trumpet boy's bedroom).
The trumpet was a more painful intrument for all of us to hear in the 7th grade.

When I asked the lady if the FD determined the cause she angrily relayed the cause as a string of outdoor lights that were stored in a box protected with crunched up newspaper and that her 5 year old grandson plugged in the lights. She added that she wasn't speaking to either her daughter or grandson . She wasn't a nice lady.

Ok, the best no-cost next step is the clean Windows install. The easiest (in terms of effort and aggravation level) is replacing the power supply. One of these will likely resolve the problem.

I always wanted to stop, but since I'm like 3 frigging AUs from the mome the timing never works out. When I used to drive straight through I would be passing the pyramid in the wee hours. Now that I break up the drive, I don't hit my first stop in ketucky until around 10-11pm, and from there I don't get to the mome area until around 9-10pm, and I usually hit the mome site first thing just to drop off things before hitting the hotel. Any delay along the way just screws up the timing.

Incandescent bulbs, no doubt. Under the heading "now you tell.me", or, "a little late, there buddy"....
Incandescent lifetime is highly determined by the voltage they are operated at. Of course, so is light output, so that lights that are used for illumination can't be operated at lowered voltage because that affects their utility. Decorative bulbs, OTOH, can have their lifetime extended by dropping the incoming voltage. A 5% drop in voltage will drop brightness by about 15-20%, but double the lifetime.
If there was a screwup.in manufacturing, and you actually have a 51or 52 light string, this might explain it. Or, it just might mean that you got an bunch of exceptionally lomg.lived bulbs.
I remember reading about a bulb over the stage door of a theater in Ft Worth that, except for power outages and blackouts during WWII, had been burning for over a hundred years.

The new way I go to the mome had me missing the Buc-ees I would normally stop at before hitting the nashville area. I was bummed, but they built a new one thats 10 miles from my hotel in kentucky, so I hit that this year. Can never get out of there without spending $100 though. Yeah, its something to see. The bathrooms are nicer than I have seen on some cruise ships.

My besties now live in Marathon.
Depends about what you want to do on vacation. If you want to fish Marathon and the mid Keys are fantastic. If you want to party Key West is a blast. A lot more history cause or old man in the sea and stuff.
The Keys aren't that big. But as diverse as San Diego to San Fransisco. Depends on what you want.

Clean fire priming mix was hygroscopic, so needed to be sealed from moisture. A ring of tarry substance was applied inside the case mouths, to prevent moisture entry around the lead. A drop of UV-cured sealant was applied to the primer/case head, to prevent entry around the primer.

My problem is that I must wash hands frequently, due to getting dirty/ handling who-knows-what/ and meal preps... consequently, my skin dries out and cracks when weather is cold and dry here. Can't keep lotion on long enough to do its job.
So-- superglue, applied with toothpick into the splits. Holds skin together long enough to heal. Otherwise, split & bleed, re-split & bleed, re-split & bleed... OUCH!

Get the smallest tubes you can find-- cheaper and less waste. Don't know if you saw my post about finding 4-packs of tiny tubes at H freight for (used to be...) about a dollar.
Clean the wound well, dry thoroughly, then apply glue. Squeeze & hold it shut for a few seconds, and dab away excess glue with paper towel. Careful to not glue together anything you *don't want* glued together, LOL.
