21 Neuschwanstein was pretty cool, but there were other castles in Germany I also liked. We saw Frankenstein Castle, but it was closed for renovation, so all we saw was the exterior. Nicely creepy.

That was the 1st SGT's favorite punishment. I used to step out of the maintenance platoon's ECP and walk over to Shitter Row, and help the junior NCO punishment detail stir the shit in the barrels. Completely undermined that asshole. If Chief Bif wanted something in Bartertown, Chief Bif got it.

Commander asked me once why, i told him the !st SGT was playing favorites and abusing his authority. I was merely offsetting his BS to keep the unit functional.

I think the last person in an iron lung has died. Most weren't in it all the time, just when they needed the extra help breathing. There was an interesting article a year or so on what they had to do to k(+mUZM)eep an iron lung working, since the companies that made them are no longer in business.
