Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | James Comer: I'll Give Bill and Hillary Clinton the Steve Bannon Treatment -- Prosecution Then Prison -- If They Continue to Refuse to TestifyIf only, if only. We'll see. We certainly have adequate justification and adequate provocation given that Biden sent Steven Bannon and Peter Navarro to prison for refusing to testify before the J6 illegal committee. The Clintons are demanded to testify about a matter the Democrats claim must be fully exposed and aired out, the Epstein Pedophile ring. So what excuse can they offer the Clintons for refusing to tell us what they know? Just The News:House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Tuesday said he would give former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the same treatment Democrats gave Steve Bannon if they do not comply with congressional subpoenas to testify on their alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein. House Democrats referred Bannon for prosecution after he failed to comply with a House January 6 subcommittee subpoena. He was later convicted on two counts of contempt of Congress and sentenced to four months in prison in 2022. Comer said the Clintons are two Democrats that his committee has not heard back from regarding subpoenas for their testimony on their ties to Epstein, and that continued silence will be met with criminal referrals. "We expect to hear from Bill and Hillary Clinton," Comer said on the "Just The News, No Noise" TV show. "Donald Trump answered questions for years about Jeffrey Epstein. Every day he gets asked questions about Epstein, and he answers them in front of the American people. We've subpoenaed Republicans and Democrats. "Other Democrats have sent letters saying they knew nothing about Epstein, which would hold in court if something ever comes out that they did know something, then they've committed perjury there," he continued. "But the Clintons have never responded. They're the one group in this investigation that's never had to answer questions in front of a credible reporter, and they've never certainly answered questions from attorneys or members of Congress. "So we expect the Clintons to come in, or I expect the Clintons to be met with the same fate that Bannon and [Peter] Navarro were met with when the Democrats were in control," he concluded. Comer also noted that other Democrats have not helped bring the Clintons in to testify because they are too focused on trying to criminally connect Trump to Epstein. According to Grok, that power still exists. It's called "Inherent contempt". The current regime they always use is a statutory one. Congress made it a crime as well as civil violations. But Inherent Contempt still exists, and the Court ruled it is inherent to Article I power. In order to function, Congress must have this power, "necessary and proper". Ie, suppose Congress subpoenas somebody. And say the Executive is against then and refuses to enforce that via the statue. Congress must have what amounts to executive arrest power on its own. And, there is not much judicial review, other than violation of constitutional rights. The decision of what is contempt belongs to Congress alone. The court doesn't get to review that call. The Atlanta Fed came out today with a projection of 4.2 GDP in Q3. They projected inflation at 2.2 next year. Prices on many things like food and gas is down and most of the stuff in the BBB doesn't even kick in until next year. Mamdani won in NYC because he dominated with foreign born voters and because Cuomo sucks and even Democrats hate him. NYC has always been unaffordable and almost always run by Democrats. It's not a harbinger of anything and there isn't a chance in hell Mamdani is going to magically make things more affordable. Why is there so much doom and gloom? It's going to get worse. My wife volunteers at two food pantries and the food supply has literally dried up. They are getting less than half of what they did just six months ago while the lines are getting longer. Further, according to Grok, this inherent contempt has not been fully tested against Executive privilege claims.
Every DOJ has claimed it is unconstitutional, a violation of separation of powers (for valid executive privilege assertions), but the boundaries of that has never been decided. The last time this was used was in 1934, and maybe 1935. Each house, House and Senate has this power on its own. That is, each chamber can invoke it on its own. Why do so many think everything should have changed because Trump won an election when the corruption had taken years to build against us? It was always going to take years to rebuild and the globalist, leftwing forces weren't going to give up because Donny 2 Scoops won an election. The economy is beginning to heal. I'm interested in just what this alcohol fueled incident was. Apparently some Mexican official made an "inappropriate remark" that greatly offended a female staffer. Crenshaw then said "I'll drink to that!" or something. What was the remark. Enquiring minds want to know. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (w6EFb) at November 19, 2025 07:42 PM (w6EFb) 187

Posted by: JackStraw at November 19, 2025 07:20 PM (viF8m) Mandami is as useful to the Dems as a dozen boat anchors. He's promised everything, and will be able to deliver nothing. And the Dems will have to prop him up. Posted by: Oldcat at November 19, 2025 07:43 PM (8avO+) 191
Ownership is a big deal in these United States. Life, Liberty, Property. In that order. We like to own things. Nothing makes a person more conservative and capitalist as owning where you live. Powell and the Fed are preventing Rs from raising a generation of Conservatives, and sending then into the arms of DSA that is a fun co-op of communist economic ideals and jihadi social norms.

And then the Newlyweds can rent the house from the real estate corporations at a high enough rate to cover the mortgage, finance fees, and all future investments by the company. >>>The economy is beginning to heal. As I just said the Atlanta Fed pegs Q3 GDP at 4.2 and inflation next year at basically 2% which is no inflation. We are finally getting illegals out of the country. There are no new wars. The left is in complete disarray and after weeks of hearing here daily Republicans were going to fold on the shutdown they didn't. They won. Which is a big reason leftists are freaking.
Posted by: JackStraw -------------- We have normalized day to day business which is great. The heads of the snakes are still loose and dangerous. We will be on tenterhooks until the snakes have been neutralized and their effects neutered. And Nancy Mace is going after Cory Mills, forcing a censure vote. She's accusing him of stolen valor or something. Nancy is in bunny-boiler territory, no question about it. ------ Well, he recently received a restraining order against him. Nancy isn't always stable, but an honest Congress would look into these things, just like an honest Congress would have stripped Plaskett of anything they could have stripped her of.
