Washington Post: Democrat Delegate from Epstein Island, the Insanely Vicious and Corrupt Partisan Stacey Plaskett, Asked Anti-Trump Questions at a Congressional Hearing As Instructed to Do by Her Political Financier Jeffrey Epstein

Even the Washington Post is dog-piling on this dog.

Stacey Plaskett is a corrupt and ugly Virgin Islands delegate to Congress, which means she cannot vote for bills but definitely can ask questions in Congress.

Including those prompted by convicted pedophiles who financed his run for the position of delegate in the first place.

Gunther Eagleman
@GuntherEagleman

Jul 7

If you wondered how seriously our government takes Epstein's crimes, consider this:

Rep. Stacey Plaskett, currently serving on three congressional committees (Budget, Ways and Means, Intelligence), solicited donations from Jeffrey Epstein in 2018, a decade after his 2008 s*x offender conviction.

She faced no actual repercussions.

Six women sued Plaskett and other Virgin Islands officials in 2023, alleging they enabled Epstei''s trafficking by making the territory a safe haven.

As of March 2025, Plaskett is the only defendant remaining in the case.

Why hasn't Congress held her accountable for her ties to Epstein?

Not only did she take Epstein's money for years -- which she lied about -- but she also worked for Epstein's "shadowy tax and political influence fixer" before she used Epstein's money to buy a position.

New court filings show Del. Stacey Plaskett, D-VI, one the most popular Democrats on MSNBC, not only lied about her years-long fundraising from Jeffrey Epstein... she also literally worked for Epstein's shadowy tax and political influence fixer before entering public office.

She is a major defender of censorship by the government, and claims that Elon Musk is taking away her free speech by... critiquing her. She goes on to claim that Musk, by criticizing her, is acting like the apartheid-era South African government.

It's just always the same sour song, isn't it?

She is the corrupt and ugly hack who called Matt Taibbi a "so-called journalist" for exposing Biden's pressure to censor conservatives and smeared him and other "Twitter Files" journalists.

Wall Street Apes
@WallStreetApes

In the 20,000 pages of Jeffrey Epstein documents released it shows Democrat Stacey Plaskett was being personally text by Jeffrey Epstein during an Oversight Hearing while she questioned Trump's former attorney

He was feeding her what to say

Plaskett took money from Epstein

"Epstein messaged Delegate Stacey Plaskett while she questioned Michael Cohen. She was actively texting with Epstein during a 2019 House Oversight Committee hearing. While Plaskett grilled President Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, Epstein appeared to be providing real-time coaching, with time stamps matching her questions and his messages.

Newly released estate texts are part of oversight committee pages. They come from the Oversight Committee, 20,000 pages released from the Epstein files.

They show Epstein sending short notes to Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett -- Records also show past donations from Epstein. She was actively being coached and paid by Epstein after he was convicted of sexual trafficking."

Now the Delegate from Epstein Island is exposed for taking texts from her patron Jeffrey Epstein during congressional testimony aimed at getting Epstein's hated enemy Trump -- and asking the questions he told her to ask, like a pedophile's ventriloquist dummy which he uses to seduce children.

This is now confirmed by all of the left-wing propaganda media, including the Washington Post, NY Times, and even CNN.

Stacey Plaskett, a Democrat who represents the US Virgin Islands in Congress as a non-voting delegate, exchanged texts with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing, the delegate's office confirmed to CNN.

"During the hearing, Congresswoman Plaskett received texts from staff, constituents and the public at large offering advice, support and in some cases partisan vitriol, including from Epstein," Plaskett's spokesperson, Angeline Jabbar, said in a statement to CNN.

...

The texts, first reported by the Washington Post, were released Wednesday as part of roughly 20,000 pages of documents made public by the House Oversight Committee.

The released text messages redact the name of the person Epstein was texting with on February 27, 2019 -- the day former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen testified to the House Oversight Committee about the president's conflicts of interests, business practices and payments to Trump's alleged mistresses to silence their stories before the 2016 elections.

The Washington Post analyzed the text messages and compared them to footage of the hearing to report Plaskett was texting Epstein.

At the time, Epstein had already been convicted of two state prostitution charges, which he served 13 months for. A few months after the text exchange took place, he would be charged with sex trafficking minors.

Epstein had ties to the US territory because he maintained a home on Little St. James in the Virgin Islands, which he acquired in 1998, and purchased nearby Great St. James in 2016, according to a lawsuit filed in 2020.

According to the Post, Epstein seemed to have been watching the hearing and his texts to Plaskett appeared to influence what the delegate asked Cohen.

In one exchange, Epstein texted Plaskett: "Cohen brought up RONA - keeper of the secrets," referring to -- and misspelling the first name of -- Rhona Graff, a longtime Trump assistant.

Plaskett responded: "RONA??" She added at 2:25 p.m, "Quick I'm up next is that an acronym," suggesting that she would be questioning Cohen soon.

Epstein responded: "Thats his assistant."

At 2:28 p.m., Plaskett began questioning Cohen and asked about Graff, along with other Trump associates he had mentioned, according to the Post.

In another text, Epstein told Plaskett "Good work" at 2:34 p.m. -- a minute after Plaskett wrapped up her questioning, the Post reported.

Good dog.

You can see Stacey Plaskett reading Epstein's texts and then asking the questions he prompts her to ask below. The texts are time dated, so we know exactly when they came in, and can sync them up perfectly to Plaskett's eyes going down to read them, and then asking the question the pedophile financier ordered her to ask.

Given Stacey Plaskett's call for Trump to be shot over his alleged "crimes," I wonder what punishment Plaskett would propose for shimself?

In June 2023, Plaskett made headlines when she tripped over her tongue on MSNBC, saying Trump "needs to be shot" over his alleged mishandling of classified documents before quickly correcting herself to say that he should be "stopped."

Below: Plaskett's history of working for Jeffrey Epstein's tax/political fixer.

I know this is kind of old news now but maybe it's new to some people. It came out over the weekend. For minimum impact, I imagine.

How is everyone? Are you all day-seizing?

57 Benz was just saying over the weekend that Epstein was too central a financer--not just to American and Israel--but to the UK as well--that they have a lot of info to sift through.

He predicted before reading it that Epstein was probably a fixer for the "Tinto Mining company" which is in Britain's interest, before he found it in the text of the released Epstein files. "I fuckin' KNEW it!" were his exact words.

His words were not what everybody on this side wants to hear, that is all about endless pedophile rings, but that Epstein has been useful in various USAID operations and really a freelance "fixer" and "juicer".

Benz reasons that Epstein probably got known for "running girls" by "juicing" deals with Muslim nations, w here the "age of consent (or I'd say "use")" is much lower.

========
After reading about all that is available so far from actual court depositions (the earlier Palm Beach state case), court filings, etc. plus the stories that have slowly dribbled out, I have changed my conclusions somewhat over time.

I think a) the most likely foreign intel agency running Epstein might be MI-6. One reason is Ghislaine Maxwell and her father's ties to MI-6--Robert was actually used by MI-6 to befriend Brezhnev to the dismay of the KGB and served as an agent of influence until Brezhnev died by them.
Second is the Prince Andrew angle, the Security Services give the highest priority to protecting the Royals and for them to allow Andrew and Sarah to get involved with Epstein probably means that MI-5 and 6 considered the risk minimal if Epstein was already an asset.

Third, far from the original stories minimalizing his market savvy about Epstein, it turns out he was actually a fairly aggressive hedge fund manager of several investments for wealthy and powerful. He might have been facilitating money laundering for intel more than sex blackmail of bigs.

Posted by: Axeman
========
That is my conclusion as well. For the most part, wealthy dudes actually freely give information to home country intel and law enforcement as part of the cost of doing business--they don't have to be blackmailed to do it.

And all of those billionaires have security teams to protect them from blackmail, etc. Far easier to just go to somewhere like Thailand, etc. for sex tourism with underage types.

It could be some sort of mutual kompromat situation but that would require some reason why do it when it would not be necessary. What intel often does though is create wall after wall of ambiguity--so a meeting about moving funds around might be hidden by the pretext of a sex vacay and so on.

Republicans are just pointing at Democrats, demanding everyone cancel them for ever having spoken to Epstein, while they *still* refuse to condemn Trump for hiding actual wrongdoing with him. I’m not falling for that nonsense. Release the files

This is Trump and Bondi trying to muddy the waters. They said they were going to do this; don’t fall for these ploys. I really don’t give a fuck that he was giving her questions to ask Cohen when she was trying to expose Trump’s crimes. I mean, really what are we doing here?

Exactly! Unfortunately, history has shown we should expect the media to amplify Trump's lies instead of revealing them, and hold Democrats to a higher standard than Trump ever is. He will once again get away without consequence with his evil.

I think it’s weird but not surprising. It comes across to me as very shrewd tho. It also clarifies that Epstein knew all Trumps dirty secrets.

Yea totally. Trump and Bondi time travelled back to 2019 and forced Plaskett to text message Epstein during a congressional hearing regarding Michael Cohen, Trumps laywer. Do you people even hear how ridiculous you sound?

So what you would see is various situation reports to cya but everything would be vague and more in terms of what information/finances were traded rather than names of people. Take a look at the JFK files released or the RFK assassination files to get a sample--no smoking guns, only correlations, linkages, etc.

That is why intel agencies are omnivores of anything info that can get their hands on but also why they often miss forests for the trees because the analysis lags the ability to collect information. Codebreaking and sigint has a similar issue.

166 Despite a name-brand cast and crew, it seems nobody is interested in a remake of an old Ahnuld vehicle that not many were interested in decades ago.

The trailer interested me, but its 2½ hours long and apparently is not very well written and takes way too long. Supposedly its closer to the original short story, other than the ending, but that doesn't necessarily mean better. I didn't really like the first one but it was pretty clever in how it was constructed and Richard Dawkins was great.

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at November 17, 2025 12:53 PM (dfIr7)

186 So, if this new scenario is the closest to true, it explains the chagrin of Bondi, Patel, and Bongino.

Trump, as he's known for selling enough simple models himself, probably suspected that it was the simpler case that Epstein was a pedo-pimp and the friction was pedos who didn't want exposure, which is why he promoted the statement that he would later have to inexplicably walk back about wholesale releasing the "files".

Bongino not withstanding, I'm still sticking with EDNKH. Unless it's the case that he *did* actually try ~7 days earlier to beat himself to death. (Because nobody chooses that route to suicide.)

In regard to this and other stuff like it:

The messages, part of a November release of a large batch of emails and documents by the House Oversight Committee, show Epstein closely following former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s February 2019 appearance before the congressional body.

I realize that I'm not a "normie" politically speaking so I'm pretty sure my internal reaction is not the same as that of the big squishy political middle of the population. So my question is: how does this kind of stuff register for them, if it does at all?

Toward teh end of my career, I was using Dragon Dictate Voice on Windows 8.1 (Microsux bought Dragon and eviscerated it promptly) for any serious writing. In a way, it actually helped me because I was thinking with my words and seeing them on the page rather than typing/revising/punctuating etc with deteriorating typing skills.

Now with AI models, I may start doing that again but I still have a trained Dragon Dictate on Windows 8.1 (Thirteen was the best compared with Version 15 and the later Microsux versions) plus I already had trained it on my professional vocab. So I dual boot that machine with Linux.

Hope to finish a book on a state's Bill of Rights and court decisions affecting those that I have been working on for about ten years off and on.

A week later, Wray’s deputy Paul Abbate told Congress that comments posted on one of Crooks’ social media accounts “appear to reflect antisemitic and anti-immigration themes to espouse political violence and are described as extreme in nature.”

The official narrative claimed he acted alone and without a clear motive, ideology or digital footprint.

Yet the source found reams of information that shows Crooks “was not simply some unknowable lone actor … He left a digital trail of violent threats, extremist ideology and admiration for mass violence. He spoke openly of political assassination, posted under his real name and was even flagged by other users who mentioned law enforcement in their replies. Despite this, his account remained active for more than five years — and was only removed the day after the shooting.

I did some of that in the 80s and 90's. It made me gravitate toward languages that 'forced' good practices, I was never that good at deciphering spaghetti code from Fortran, Basic, C, etc. on tests because I simply did not write code that way.

I did fine on Pascal or even the later object and module oriented languages like Object PAL, Sql, etc.

"Wrong" target.

The emphasis is not: what did post-indictment Epstein do? But: does it implicate Trump?

And: how can this be slanted to argue that it implicates Trump?

Those are the two main germane questions. Everything else is ancillary and evokes the "complexity" of the Epstein operations.

297 And there is a known principle, if you don't see the mistake the first time, it probably won't be seen until 1) you're researching a failure or 2) somebody else sees it. However, 2 still often enough suffers from the same rule

Or if you haven't seen the code in long enough and forgot what you were thinking when you wrote it, you're forced to actually read what it says. That makes the mistakes obvious, but it's obviously not practical as a strategy.

309 Given Crooks’ pattern of tracking high-profile mass shootings and violent events, the source believes it is plausible that he adopted Swanson’s name as a private joke.

Like alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson, Crooks appears to have been interested in “furries” and exploring gender identity.

He described himself with the pronouns “they/them” on the platform DeviantArt, which is one of the biggest online hubs for “furry” art and the “furry” community. (A furry is someone who has an interest in anthropomorphized animal characters, often as a sexual fetish.)

Two accounts linked to Crooks’ primary email were found on DeviantArt, under usernames “epicmicrowave” and “theepicmicrowave.” The account suggests he had an obsession with scantily clad cartoon characters sporting muscle-bound male bodies and female heads.

And consider a separate channel for your Young History books as with the 250th Anniversary coming up, it might drive those numbers up as well. Something like brief bedtime stories of your heroes in those books (character vignettes) with the link below to buy them.

367 It also had an impactful role for the main female character, something the remake, apparently, doesn't.

Yeah that was an odd choice. I found Maria Conchito Alonso's character annoying but she was actually important to the story and played a key role. Apparently that character is a bit side part that shows up briefly late in the movie.

368 I spent an afternoon trying to figure out the shorts stuff, but getting a video cut down to a short is surprisingly not that straight forward. I intend on looking more into it.
Posted by: TheJamesMadison

A lot depends on your video editing software. It is usually easy to just cut the short separate with the long after setting up. I did a fair amount of video editing teaching online and editing always took the most time. So a quick and dirty answer, even with a phone for about 60-120 seconds might be the answer with the proper lighting, backdrop, etc. that you use for the longer ones.

Shorts also lets you do hot takes on current movie events such as box office, etc.

Think of the shorts as Ace comments except on Video and the kidz nowadays like snarky humor in the shorts as a leader.

This was my idea. It came up during that. Oftentimes, under times of stress, like the shutdown, you come up with great ideas that you wouldn’t have thought of before.

The insurance companies are making a fortune. Their stock is over a thousand percent over a short period of time. They are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars, and they’re not really putting it back — certainly not like they should.

So when I see this, and when I’ve seen this over the last pretty short period of time, I said, ‘Why don’t we just pay this money directly to the people of our country and let them buy their own health insurance?’ And I made that statement — and I made it a little bit cavalierly — but it sounded good. Everybody has picked up, including Democrats.

I am talking to some Democrats right now about doing that. People love it. We’re going to take the money — well, if it gets approved — we’re going to take the money, we’re going to pay it back to the peo

Your quickest entre into programming/development is learning html, css, and javascript, you could do this in roughly 3 months and apply for a junior web dev, and as a side hustle learn swift and kotlin so you can make iOS and android apps.

There are jobs out there for every skill level.

I don't disagree but anyone young enough should be prepared to have several careers nowadays instead of 30 years, watch, retirement and pensions. And that includes our government jobs--I simply do not see the current government model of employment as sustainable.

There's a greater than zero chance that I might've done her just prior to her appearance on the death bed........

Always had a thing for her. She's been damn cute her entire life.

441 She's not a "Congresswoman". She's a "Delegate".

Surely her "spokesperson" knows this.
____

Proper term is "Congressman", which encompasses both sexes. Like mankind and chairman. I've lost the war on this but I'm as determined as the last Japanese soldier left on some remote island abandoned in 1945.

What are your strengths and weaknesses in past employment, schooling, etc. Gravitate toward jobs that you have strengths and away from those you have weaknesses.

I didn't get to go to college, I don't have any area of expertise.

Everything is a weakness.

I do not like being this way, but it's a deep f***ing hole to dig out of.

446 409 Its popularity baffles me and why people liked the bad guy so much makes no sense to me. - Christopher R. Taylor

I actually refrained from watching the movie because I had seen a few clips of the bad guy in action, and his character was so profoundly evil - a mix of sadism and pseudo-philosophical garbage - that I figured that it would simply make me angry without providing any kind of catharsis. When I read some time later that the bad guy actually got away with the money- and when I saw a clip of Tommy Lee Jones talking about his dream of his dead father - it struck me that the movie was just a pile of nihilistic crap.
