Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Lumpy Jack: The Loving and Tolerant Left Is Wishing Death Upon Me and Praying For a Lethal StrokeJohn Fetterman and his life-partner Lumpy Jack recently spoke with the Free Press about the severe depression he suffered after his stroke and, let's face it, serious damage to his brain. And probably a change in personality. This change in personality resulted in him becoming more reasonable and less Trust Fund Communist. Fox excerpted the interview. Fetterman now admits that we were right -- he should have quit the Senate race when he suffered a serious stroke during the campaign:Fetterman's condition improved, "but in hindsight I should have quit."He says he was so depressed his wife told him to leave and go live with his parents (seems like old times...), because she didn't want his depression weighing down on the children. And, he says, he contemplated suicide, at least once that he admits to. He was constantly mentioned on Fox, or under attack by Dr. Mehmet Oz and his allies: "Uncle Festerman [in an] oversize gym-rat costume," "unfit to run," "the guy can't talk," a "wax dummy," "where does the man end and the machine." And on social media "Vegetable. Moron. Retard."Yeah those last three were me. My bad. This got in his head: "a defining quality of depression, the building blocks of which I had probably struggled with ever since I was a kid. My parents were 19 when I was conceived, and I have always felt it was because of me that my parents were unable to follow their own dreams. When your self-image is negative, as mine was growing up, you gravitate toward shame. You gravitate toward feeling unwanted." "This inclination persisted even as an adult..." "Is this my life now?" Then came the debate against Oz. He was awful. "This was a make-or-break moment that would determine the outcome of the election, and I had wilted. I'd choked." "For the entire three-and-a-half-hour ride back from the debate, I read reactions on X, shooting myself up with the shame that is too often the sustenance of the depressive..." "For months, I was suicidal. Paranoid. Not eating. Not sleeping. Not speaking. Not functioning. Resigned. Ashamed. Despairing. Despairing everywhere I was. Up was down, and down was up." He won anyway by 5 points. "Once, as I lay in bed," Fetterman said, "I asked myself, What would you do if there were a pill on the nightstand you could take and not wake up? I would have taken it." Gisele told him "I could not come home until I was back to being myself: The impact on our kids was just too great." So the senator moved in with his parents. "By February, I wasn't eating, and I wouldn't talk to anybody..." "I began to feel more alive and animated than I had in months. I was present. I felt energy." "There were still enormous challenges, though. I was terrified to see my family." "A young therapist-in-training came in to talk to me one day. 'Gisele and the kids are thinking about coming to visit,' she said." "I don't think that's a good idea." The next day: "The kids are better off without me."I don't want to be Joe Maudlin Manipulator, but here's the depressed stroke victim that the left is currently wishing death on. Dana Bash pretended to be surprised to hear that her fellow leftists were "praying for [Fetterman's] next stroke." CNN, of course, refused to cover the thousands of angry Democrats celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. Maybe if she actually covered the news she wouldn't always be surprised by it.
"We can talk to him about this tomorrow... Senator John Fetterman will be here tomorrow," Goldberg said, drawing a loud "boo" from an audience member. Goldberg appeared to shoot a brief glare in the heckler's direction before continuing, "So we're going to ask him [Fetterman], 'What the hell?'"This was a "Republican Shutdown," but Democrats are shrieking about a Democrat who wants to open the government. Check. Got it. Fetterman and Lumpy Jack were already hate objects on the left before he began stating, correctly, that Democrats "need to own" the "Republican shutdown." And then that hate reached levels that... well, levels that previously resulted in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As you know, the House voted to end the shutdown, and Trump signed the CR into law.

I like Fetterman. Not enough to vote for him, but I empathize. I know a young lady, classic avoidant. She’s the product of an unplanned teen pregnancy. She’s never been loved unconditionally. Loved, yes, but with the subtext that she’s a burden and unwanted (I could give examples, but I won’t). It creates significant barriers to emotional intimacy due to fear. It’s sad. Looks like Fetterman has similar struggles.

I dunno. There is a growing discontent with the economy, especially with the younger crowd who is heavy in student loan debt and unable to afford a home. We can hand waive that away, and tell them to grow up. But that’s not the solution. They’re being tempted by the shiny objects and false promises of Democrats, especially the socialist communist promises. True story: I was flying black from SFO to EWR yesterday and sitting next to some Muslim in Lululemon and ... a hijab. She seemed "off."
After a few hours, I come back after going to the bathroom, and she's not there. After another 30 minutes some older white lady comes and sits in her seat, saying she changed seats. Seemed odd, but whatever. I noticed at the time that a lot of people were turning their heads trying to look at the back of the plane. Seemed odd, but whatever. The plane was packed with San Francisco Karens and faggots, so I didn't think too much of it. We land and the captain comes on saying we have to stay in our seats to allow the police to board the plane. The cops board, go all the way back, and -- sure enough -- take the Muslim lady into custody. They take her bags too. No handcuffs, but clearly they were there to get her and wouldn't let her leave without them. Then, even weirder, another set of cops comes on board and takes an older white lady into custody, and she was sitting right in front of me. All very odd. I googled this morning to see if there were any news reports, but nothing. Posted by: Elric The Blade at November 13, 2025 12:27 PM (iFTx/) 63

So their solution is to run to the people who put them in massive student debt, blew up the housing market with a combination of 10s of millions of illegals and massive inflation and ruined the healthcare system with Obamacare? This really shouldn't be a surprise. Young people have the wisdom of a golf ball. Trump inherited a country on fire, hell, a world on fire, and he has been triaging it for 10 months. There will be a focus on the economy and despite the media it is much better than 10 months ago. The beauty of all of this is that the left's foundation is already weakening. We have two elections we need to win to pull it all down. The Treasury is mapping where the money is coming from overseas, and the left is now openly calling for the death of their political adversaries and their voters have no problem with it. That is not popular. Fetterman and the dems will lose the senate seat at the next election there.
With Islam and Commies having made peace with one another, it is the final nail in the victims group setup the dems have been running for years. That’s why Trump is talking more about it and you have ideas like the 50 year mortgage, which is a terrible idea but they are obviously brainstorming on this. In the latest twist from the trove of Jeffrey Epstein’s emails released by House Democrats, a 2016 message from the convicted pedophile to disgraced author Michael Wolff appears to allege that Hillary Clinton had a sexual affair with former White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster. The exchange began with Wolff asking Epstein for a “thumb nail” summary on “Nussbaum/foster,” prompting Epstein’s response implying an illicit affair between Hillary and Foster. The email, dated May 25, 2016, cryptically states: “nussbaum white house counsel. . hillary doing naughties with vince.” This appears to reference Bernard Nussbaum, White House Counsel under President Bill Clinton, and Vince Foster, who died under suspicious circumstances in 1993. I think the "growing discontent" is largely if not completely a leftwing op. Trump inherited a train-wreck and has been doing what he can. You can't work an economic miracle overnight. He's made some very important reductions in prices. More will come. Similarly, I think a lot of the complaining from the younger gens about not being able to afford a house is mostly also bullshit. Every time I hear this -- or with rent -- when you really look at it, the real problem is not that they can't afford "a house," it's that they can't afford the really nice house in a really nice area that they really want. I'd like a Fenomeno too. Posted by: Elric The Blade at November 13, 2025 12:43 PM (iFTx/) 149

Statement from Sen. Fetterman’s Spokesperson:
“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock. Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh. Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries. Senator Fetterman had this to say: ‘If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!’ He is doing well and receiving routine observation at the hospital. He has opted to stay so doctors can fine-tune his medication regimen. Senator Fetterman is grateful for the EMTs, doctors, and nurses who are providing his care.” Posted by: redridinghood at November 13, 2025 01:02 PM (NpAcC) 259

It's prices. With the increases siphoned off for .... Posted by: man at November 13, 2025 01:00 PM (9idMp) ======= Well, "price" to the consumer is what the left is focusing on. Price or cost, or whatever, the problem is the focus on the post-subsidy price to the consumer. The actual cost, the actual overall price, is still jumping up hugely every year, but the subsidies hid the cost from the consumer. They still get their $10 per month plan or whatever. And then that's all that matters in the argument. "People pay this, and now they will pay this." It's intentional obfuscation of the overall issue of cost/price in the health insurance market while treating efforts to actually talk about the overall issue as disingenuous because all that matters is Granny getting her insurance for $10 a month. One of the underlying assumptions about the constitutional protections of free speech is that you are ultimately loyal to the country and American citizens and that you wish no violence upon them. For the advocates of collectivism, one and often both of those assumptions is false. Collectivism offers nothing but compliance, whether voluntarily or through the application of violence.
The left is deeply disloyal to American culture and is drenched in a real thirst for violence. These "protest" movements operate outside of First Ammendment protections. Posted by: ErikInTexas at November 13, 2025 01:09 PM (33efi) 287

Never has there been a generation more at risk of information ops.
Posted by: Comrade Flounder, Disinformation Demon at November 13, 2025 12:51 PM (i24o9) I don't think it's "at risk" at this point, more like fully actualized. College was bad enough on its own, but the brainwashing has been moved to algorithmically driven 24/7/365 bombardment - and it's been successful. The kids haven't reasoned themselves into believing the lies of the left, they've been propagandized, nudged, steered, pressured, and echo-chambered into immediately accepting whatever nonsense gets piped into their feed - men can be women, Trump is a Nazi, speech is violence, protesters killed cops on J6, etc. Posted by: It's here and not going away without deprogramming at November 13, 2025 01:11 PM (TbWk/) 295
When I retired from a really crap job due to stupid petty women and other things that irritated me, it came as a surprise to them. I'd complained to HR for the first time in 32yrs at the med center (as a RN case manager, a boring desk job for this one) about a new hire who was supposed to be a supervisor. She would arrive 2hrs late, just putz around yapping on the phone, & eat stinky onion sandwiches at her desk. Disgusting.
I should have known but did not, if you go to HR "you become part of the problem." The director, who was not a nurse, lied about me at the HR meeting. I sat there thinking, you need this job more than me you fat slob. I went home, told my husband about the "mediation" crap they dreamed up and he told me to quit. So I did the next Monday and flipped out everyone who wanted to mediate me for the first time in my career of much harder jobs. Ha! Two weeks later I was outta there and my job share RN partner was as well. The little dept quickly went down the toilet. The person I complained about? She was walked off the grounds a month later for "stealing clients." I got to hear of karma! I'd only taken the job for the schedule so I could travel every other weekend. Hate to reveal myself as a fool, but this post never explains who John Fetterman is.
So I am forced to ask: Who even is John Fetterman? (Kind in mind that I tuned out most news 2020-2024, so I may have missed that era when he appeared in the news cycle.) Posted by: zombie at November 13, 2025 01:12 PM (oraVG) 298

Posted by: 18-1 at November 13, 2025 01:09 PM (sKqQm) There is a French webseries in 5 or so seasons called Le Visiteur du Futur, which is a man coming back to change the future from all the disasters, including the Time Patrol. First season the episodes were about 8 minutes long, and they built up from there. Eventually there was a movie. "Stop! If you do that . . . HR isn't there to help you as an employ. They are their to protect the company.
If you reached that point you'd be better off going to your manager's manager though depending on their relationship that might not go well for you either Posted by: 18-1 at November 13, 2025 01:13 PM (sKqQm) 302

My opinion is that health insurance should be outlawed. The money from the "employer contribution" can be added to a 401k health saving account and after about 3 years there is enough in the account to handle 99.9% of medical events.
Health insurance companies add more costs than efficiencies in the system and thus are a net negstive. Posted by: MAGA_Ken at November 13, 2025 01:15 PM (Vh9CX) 304
Subsidized insurance for me as a low-income American still would cost me at least triple in premiums compared to what I pay for a healthcare-bill-sharing organization where we pay bills directly. But we don't share expenses for abortions or gender-deluding treatments and we also don't put piles of money in the pockets of connected or powerful people.

There's a lot that happens in the news cycles that's utterly predictable, because it's all mostly a show written by idiots, for idiots.
But I honestly, truly, never could have forseen that there would be a completely impotent doc dump trying to frame up Trump that, not only exonerates Trump, but somehow fingers HRC for murdering Vince Foster. It's so ridiculous that not even the most creative mind could script it. It's so sad and stupid and hilarious that it couldn't possibly be not true. It's like "releasing the Epstein Files" but it's actually a detailed history of the island that shows that Epstein never owned it or even stepped foot on it, but buried on page 87 is a photo of Gerald Ford shaking hands with a seven headed alien because why the fuck not. "John Fetterman Says Left on Bluesky Crueler Than MAGA." The left on Bluesky didn't just make insurance unaffordable for over 40 million Americans.
--- 40 million can't afford health insurance less than 20 years after the Affordable Care Act was passed to solve the high cost of health insurance? Also, what is the over-lap of that 40 million with the 42 million on SNAP? Hey, maybe they can make the same choice I have to make since my taxes are so high to pay for both of those: Either eat or go to the doctor--pick one. Fuck 'em. Let 'em die. Posted by: 18-1 at November 13, 2025 01:13 PM (sKqQm) She knew. The two doctors of the dept knew and sympathized with me. I could not deal with it anymore, told the doc I was a friend that I was going to HR. I should have yelled "hostile environment and I am transexual!" The first HR woman was a RN, and I had to go to a satellite hospital to talk to her.She filed the complaint. The HR person at the med center later did not know me, as others did and knew the other jobs I held and would have listened. It was simply time to bail and the fact that security walked this freak to her car and she was fired a month later proved they should have listened to me and my partner. No regrets! I was done anyway with it and the politics that started with these nitwits. It was a very small dept and I was used to a large ED and/or the entire med center who knew me well. This little petty dept was psycho. Like being locked in a mental ward two or three days/week. I could write a book about each character and you'd understand but I'd be sued.
