Prince Andrew Now Stripped of All Titles and Honors Over His Friends-with-Benefits Relationship With Jeffrey Epstein

He'll now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, which... sounds an awful lot like a royal name.

I see this as mostly a lateral move.

Except the part where he's kicked out of his free 30-room mansion.

Andrew will no longer be known as a prince and is to leave Royal Lodge, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.

In a bombshell statement released tonight, Buckingham Palace said he will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor - with immediate effect.

It comes as the palace said the 'censures are deemed necessary' amid the ongoing scandal over Jeffrey Epstein, whom Andrew lied about cutting ties with.

'His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,' the statement said.

A commenter yesterday wondered about this, stating that he didn't think they could take away the "prince" title, as it is conferred by birth not granted by grace of the king.

But you know the thing about kings-- they kind of make up their own laws as they please.

'Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.

'Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.

'These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.

'Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.'

...

Although the former duke has been stripped of all his remaining titles those of his daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, will remain.

...

It is understood Prince William and the Royal Family fully support the King's leadership on the recent move.

Andrew's recent departure from the Royal Lodge, where he paid 'peppercorn rent' over 20 years', comes amid an ongoing row over the residence since his dukedom title was stripped earlier this month.

Per Google AI, "peppercorn rent" is...

... a nominal, token, or symbolic rent, often as low as one peppercorn per year, used in a lease to meet the legal requirement for a two-way exchange to make a contract binding.

So essentially he was given a 30-room mansion for free.

Update: Via the NY Post, he did plow his own money into renovating the mansion:

Andrew has not paid rent on Royal Lodge for the past 22 years, according to UK reports, because he paid a large sum -- around $10.7 million -- to renovate the residence.

I don't know what 30-room mansions usually rent for.

However as of today, it is understood Andrew has been served notice to surrender the lease at the 30-bedroom mansion and will move out of the residence as soon as practically possible.

...

The move was entirely down to the King and his advisers, without pressure from the government or other family members, such as Prince William, sources told the Daily Mail.

...

It comes as His Majesty had made it clear he would not hesitate to take 'further action' if his younger brother continued to cling on to his dukedom and other honours after he lied about cutting ties with paedophile financier Epstein, the Daily Mail previously revealed.

And despite the tsunami of growing evidence mounting against him, the 65-year-old was understood to still be 'digging his heels in' with a 'startling lack of contrition', in a situation the King deemed 'intolerable', sources previously said.

...

Earlier today, anti--monarchy campaign group Republic said it has instructed lawyers to investigate the prince and, if appropriate, press ahead with legal proceedings.

The Daily Mail understands the allegations it is focusing on relate to allegations he sexually assaulted Giuffre, that he asked a royal protection officer to look into her background and impropriety when he served as an official UK trade envoy.

But Republic said it is mounting its own bid to take him to court because the legal and political response to the claims has been 'weak and inadequate' to date.

The British site GBNews says that this also serves as a warning to Prince Harry and his awful SJW influencer wife.

The fact that the King was able to bypass Parliament, with the support of the Government, to take action against a fellow royal is incredibly significant.

It could even have set a precedent that future monarchs use to sanction other members of the Royal Family.

The King's eldest son and heir to the throne, Prince William, fully supported the action taken against his uncle.

The Prince of Wales is known to have a strained relationship with his brother, Prince Harry, with the pair avoiding each other at several events over the last two and a half years.

The current bitter and broken relationship between the King's two sons stems from the Duke of Sussex's decision to launch multiple public attacks on the Royal Family from 2021 to 2023.

Prince Harry did several TV interviews, firing digs at the monarchy alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, with the most notable taking place in March 2021 with Oprah Winfrey.

The Sussexes' interview with Ms Winfrey sent shockwaves across the world and led to Prince William telling journalists: "We're very much not a racist family."

The Prince of Wales's frustration with his younger brother grew stronger over the following two years as Prince Harry discussed royal matters in a Netflix documentary in 2022 before issuing a tell-all autobiography in January 2023.

Prince Harry did several TV interviews, firing digs at the monarchy alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, with the most notable taking place in March 2021 with Oprah Winfrey. |

The memoir, which contained several attacks on key members of the Royal Family, including William's wife, Princess Kate, was the most damaging blow in the feud between the brothers.

Since then, Prince William has kept his distance from Prince Harry and has not been involved in talks with the Duke of Sussex when he has visited the UK.

Update:

Daily Mail has had several articles on this quoting a handful of palace insiders saying the de-Princing of Andrew by Charles was at the request of the future King, William so that he wouldn't have to do it, which he would have.

Chuck obliged.

Since he is no longer beholden to the royal family, the tell all books should be illuminating.

Daily Mail, 'Fergie's Mask Slips' Fergie 'is set to leave Andrew alone' as he demands TWO homes so they can live apart after leaving the Royal Lodge

In part, "Andrew has only paid 'peppercorn' rent for the last 20 years, and while he initially tried to dig his heels in by citing the terms of his 'cast iron' lease with the Crown Estate, it is understood he will finally move out.

The prince still has 50 years left on his pre-paid lease and it not known exactly how much money he could receive in compensation for the £7.5million he has spent on Royal Lodge renovations."

Yea, this seems like mostly fake bullshit to make it look like the odious royal family of skanks, turds, perverts, leeches, and oily scabs (with a few rare exceptions) is disciplining their most notorious grotesque, when in reality nothing will change.

There's been ongoing disputes over Andrew living in that mansion for years, IIRC. He was gonna be kicked out regardless.

In a way, Meghan Markle has done more damage to the royal reputation than Andrew has. He was a known scumbag who's scumbaggery was decades ago, and despite the pious incantations of those pretending to be appalled at his behavior, the Brits (and especially royals) always had a taste for sexual perversion.

Meghan shitting all over the royals, calling them racist and abusive, has gotta hurt their egos more than some middled-aged sleaze macking on teenage girls.

141 "Peppercorn rent" isn't the renter screwing over the landlord. The renter and landlord would agree to something very very nominal (such as a peppercorn) as rent.

Peppercorn rent is a legal fiction designed to satisfy the legal requirement that all contracts (including leases) have "consideration" (value) going from one party to the other and vice versa. Otherwise, there is no legally enforceable contract.

I assume what was really going on what that Andrew was allowed to live in the mansion rent-free as part of his title. But without any sort of "payment" from him at all, there would be no binding lease, and possibly even claims by him that he owned the property through adverse possession.

I assume the peppercorn arrangement is common among royals and aristocracy, as a means to allow family members to live on properties owned by the family for generations.

Wrong. There is no precedent. He's a g-ddamned King. If outside influences determine whether to depose a Prince for crimes against the laws of subjects, they can be used to depose a King. People don't get a say in the affairs of monarchs. If they do, monarchy means nothing. I think that's a fair question. The post isn't throne-sniffing it covers a culturally and internationally relevant event. BUT I have never understood the fascination that certain people, and especially a certain cadre of Americans, have with royalty. The whole Kennedy Camelot mythology made me want to puke (and still does), and the obsession over here (almost exclusively among chicks) with Princess Diana was psychotic. To me it's all of a piece with whatever drives celebrity-worship, but I've never related to or connected with the mindset that drives it. And I'm still not even sure what that mindset is, exactly.

Fun fact: that interview had considerable blowback on Oprah for its stupidity and falseness. I'm pretty sure she has had nothing to do with the Sparkles since then.

AND -- it's almost impossible to find it on the internet now. I think Oprah placed personal calls to Sundar Pichai.

King Chuck ought to take his position in British Society more seriously.

Beheading Ol' Andy would be a good and traditional start.

Next he might take his role as Head of the English people seriously and drive all the rapey wogs into the sea....No boats. They can swim their way to Frogville.

Then array the battlements of Windsor Castle with the heads of various a-hole Labour and Conservative leaders.

That should get things moving in the right direction.

Consider also that these same royals who are appalled at Andrew's conduct did nothing while hundreds if not thousands of their fellow British girls were systematically raped and murdered by packs of filthy Paki illegals.

196 My wife and I have been trying to diagnose our washing machine, which has been running roughly and making extra noise. Among other things, we tried taking off the agitator plate. The screw holding it in took a lot of persuasion. I put a socket wrench on it and had to hit the end of the lever with a hammer many times to get it loose.

Once we got that off, I was trying to pull up the plate. It was stuck. We watched some videos, and one guy showed how you could stuff a cord into the seam around the plate, pull the cord underneath the plate, and pull up. I did this and pulled and pulled, until I managed to crack a big piece of the plate off.

*sigh*

We could try to get the rest of the plate off, see if we can do some repair to the machine, and source a new plate. Or we could just buy a new machine. I think we're going with option two.

But their lives are not their own, really. They don't get to have "normal" lives, simple lives. So many choices are made for them from protocol, tradition etc and they have so many expectations put on them.
Of course, I'm speaking about those born to this -- not the ones who willingly join in by marriage. They have to know what they are choosing.

224 My defense of monarchical government.

In modern form, royal families exist as an insurance policy if things go really pear shaped. They are a perpetuating line of people who have every interest in the continuation and success of a country. So if there is ever a "constitutional crisis" or a coup, or whatever and somebody needs to have absolute right to decide who gets to run things, you want a king who knows that if the country really goes to shit he, and his family and entire line, will be dead in a ditch.

Even still it doesn't always work out, but what else is there? Think of it as a very expensive insurance policy where the public pays millions every year supporting these grifters and hope they are never needed.

For this reason, I think the late Queen did a horrible job at her only job - raising decent kids.

I think they're setting her up to the the "bad girl" of the season. She's definitely full of herself. "I'm so strong and confident that men are scared to approach me," and that kinda shit.

Putting Andrew's mummified head on a pike out front of Westminster Abbey for a couple decades like Oliver Cromwell's would be a nice opening move for a mighty King who wants to set Parliament straight and dispense with their incessant folderol. Shows 'em you mean bidness.

Well, my first full video has more views than my intro video of 19 seconds.

So, that's a win.

950 more subscribers and 3990 more watch hours to go until monetization.
Posted by: TheJamesMadison

Enjoyed it! But agree that the intro needs to be a lot shorter. What you could do, once you have a few under your belt, is to use that intro for a "welcome to my channel" video.

And if you want to vary the shots, do that quick cut thing that everyone does. Also: churn out some shorts. Like 30 seconds of "my top ten christmas movies" or some dumb thing. You can do those eve more easily - no talking head required. Use Canva or something, use movie posters/cover images and do a voice over.

Good luck with this and with the job search.

The solution is simple. The Windsors need to learn how to tell their advisers to sod off. Before Prince Harry turned into Markle's cuck, he served in the British Army in Afghanistan twice... at least until some douchecanoe Limey reporter published photos of him in field gear during his first deployment. The Army pulled him early because they chickened out on letting him take the same risks as his fellow soldiers.

I never understood why he didn't loudly bitch about it. I'd have had more respect for him if he had.

It's funny, because Octavian was basically the opposite of that - nobody thought of him as a potential inheritor of Julius Caesar, precisely because of his martial incompetence. Always runty, frequently ill, and forced to retire from his campaigns for convalescence. Everyone thought it would be anyone else.

But Julius knew he'd be the best leader, and secretly adopted him.

He's supposedly not the sharpest tool in the shed, to begin with. He was indulged through most of his young wild days by pretty much everyone, wink, wink, "Randy Andy." I think he's being punished not so much for what he did, but for being caught.

But he's been condemned mostly by a woman who was mentally unstable, and from a book, that may or may not be accurate. She's now dead, so there's no way Andrew can get at what is inaccurate about it out. I've never really trusted her claims. They're was the whole "maybe she was mistaken about Dershowitz's identity" and she seemed to be suing anyone left and right. I think Andrew was pressured to settle rather than fight and that's led to this. I am willing to bet some of it was based on reality -- Andrew probably did have sex with her -- but I doubt he was aware of the sliminess Epstein engaged in, and I bet he thought she was a willing (and of legal age) participant.

Back to "not the sharpest tool in the shed": Reading about his post military life, he seems like some idiot who thinks of people as, "Well, he's a capitol chap!" or they aren't.

395 It's funny, because Octavian was basically the opposite of that - nobody thought of him as a potential inheritor of Julius Caesar, precisely because of his martial incompetence. Always runty, frequently ill, and forced to retire from his campaigns for convalescence. Everyone thought it would be anyone else.

But Julius knew he'd be the best leader, and secretly adopted him.

I clocked her during the engagement interview, this D list actress from LA claimed she never googled Harry and knew nothing about tabloids and she only cared if he was kind. I immediately didn't like her and I didn't know she was black until she whined about racism.
Then it's rumored she wore Diana's favorite perfume on their first date. She's a psycho.

418 Somebody asked what do you call it if you push somebody into a window from outside. I would say “fenestration”. But that misses the point of defenestration: you push them out the window from an upper story such that they die from the fall. Pushing someone into a window from outside might get them cut from broken glass but doesn’t amount to near as much damage since you are presumably doing it on the ground floor.

I don't. That's the deal with the Royals - you get tons of wealth, pomp and respect and in exchange you are supposed to set an example. Same thing with Presidents.

If you can't be respectable, you should live on some hunting lodge somewhere and not cause problems.

430 I think this is all being done to strip the titles of Hazmat and Nutmeg, but Andrew gave them plenty of rope.

I have zero sympathy for the Epstein girls, who knew exactly what they were doing. But Andrew and Sarah are both tacky, shady idiots and Epstein is not the only unsavory character they associated with.

All Andrew ever had to do was keep his head down and not do anything too outrageous. Apparently, that was beyond his abilities. He was always jealous of Charles, I imagine. I always liked Sarah, but she has a shopping addiction and is lacking any sort of discretion.

I think William is behind every bit of this, again, to crush his obnoxious brother. I think he's covered for him his entire life, and is done playing.

He probably started planning this after the Oprah interview, but Nutmeg's behavior towards Catherine and toddler Charlotte in the run up to the Sussex wedding probably sealed their Fate. Nutmeg is also alleged to have been caught trying to get pictures of the kids, Charlotte especially, sleeping during her first and last visit to William and Catherine's private residence.

And she also supposedly pretended to be pregnant and that's why the ponce married her skanky ass. And the ginger children are either not real or surrogates.

It is all one giant mess. While I agree with Ace about monarchy's, I do like Princess Catherine and Prince William. Yes,I know he's liberal. I hope he undoes his ugly brother forever and may the ponce go to Botswana forevermore and fades away to spare my retinas.
