My big tom will sit in the hallway and yowl at around 4am because the kitten is sleeping on the bed, and he feels that is his place or he wants the kitten to come and play.

I have taken to picking the big arsed cat up and putting him on the bed so they can be near each other. It seems to work. Eventually they both get down and patrol the house.

So... my stepson is a fuckin' kid, and he's about 10 shades blacker than that knucklehead. He works a job and shows up to every work shift on time, and does chores around here, too. Don't get me wrong - I still pay for more of his food and housing than he does, but he contributes to this home.

Fine! He loves her. In fact, he attached himself to her before the rest of us. She is pretty high functioning, and a huge animal lover. Her biggest issues are emotional regulation, something she has truly worked so hard on controlling, and completely missing social cues. Her affect can be a little flat, and she has learning differences.

Well, he is actually right. With an AWD it is super critical to match ALL 4 tires. The size theoretically should be the same on paper between 2 brands, but in reality its a crap shoot and may not be the case. The most recent harley I bought needed a rear tire. I ordered the same brand that was on the front, and it had a matching rear tire. Anyway, the new rear tire comes in. I dismount the old tire and laid it next to the new one. The old tire was a full 1 inch wider. It grew a full inch over time. The front was normal, but the back has a lot of weight on it, so it changed more than the front.

It seems the idea is that the higher up on the tree they can leave their mark, the more terrifying it is for other pandas, thus keeping interlopers out of their territory. To ensure maximum elevation of splattering urine, (that's probably not a phrase any of you expected to read today,) they do handstands up against the tree when relieving themselves. Being that they are pandas, the most inelegant of all the ursines, the process can be rather entertaining to watch.

I built my brother a full blown custom harley in 2000-2001. he didn't use it much but we put Metzeler tires on it, which were great tires. He didn't use it much, maybe 2k miles since it was built, and I finally ended up with it last year. Same tires, no dry rot. I pulled a Dunlop back tire off one of my other bikes a few years ago, and that was from the 90's. Again, not many miles, and no dry rot. I'm not sure if it's because they are garage kept, or they just make really good tires, because I get bikes come in with other brands and the tires got more cracks in them than pelosi's face.

265 I sneak installed a quick disconnect on the Nitrogen generators at work so I can fill my tires with it. I've heard lots of numbers but 50% more life out of a tire seems to be the average. Plus its a more stable gas than the 80/20 mix we breathe so no fluxuations in pressure between summer and winter.
The five year thing is due to oxidization inside the tire.

I think it seriously changes from brand to brand. I just changed the tires on my pickup, a 2wd colorado. 7 year old Pirelli tires, and they were toast. A lot of tread left, but a shit ton of cracks. Just like anything else, 1 asshole got to ruin it for everybody.

292 I think it seriously changes from brand to brand. I just changed the tires on my pickup, a 2wd colorado. 7 year old Pirelli tires, and they were toast. A lot of tread left, but a shit ton of cracks. Just like anything else, 1 asshole got to ruin it for everybody.

296 The set of run flats has worn extremely well on the mustang. Not the grippiest tires I have ever had though.

298 I never knew until a couple years ago that 4WD and AWD tires all needed to be the same size or you can ruin your transfer case.

After the tires being maybe half worn on my old Honda CRV -- had a sidewall puncture and needed a replacement tire. Took it to Costco where I purchased them, and they put a new tire on.

A few minutes later I start noticing a noise that I assume is the transmission starting to go out; took it to a transmission specialist, and he tells me that on an AWD like that it can't have different size tires or it wrecks your transfer case.

BTW, this is why 4WD and AWD vehicles don't have those little tiny spares -- only full-sized ones.

I never read the Costco paperwork before, and it says that they recommend you by four new tires if you have to replace one. Another option I've heard is that you can have someone shave the new tire to the size of the other three.
