DEI Dum-Dum Who Debated Charlie Kirk and Then Glorified His Murder Booted Out as President of Prestigious Oxford Debating Society

At least he had the class to accept the 2/3rds no-confidence vote gracefully.

I'm just kidding, he's claiming the vote was rigged.

The New York Post from September:

Oxford student George Abaraonye, who is the president of the historic debate club founded in 1823, callously cheered when he heard Kirk was shot and killed -- and is now facing the repercussions.

"Charlie Kirk got shot, let's f--king go," Abaraonye, 20, posted on WhatsApp on Wednesday.

"Charlie Kirk got shot loool," the depraved debater wrote on Instagram in another message.

What made this especially sociopathic is that the two men had just met and debated a few months before. Charlie Kirk was no accumulation of pixels, he'd actually shaken this degenerate animal's hand.

And he celebrated when Kirk was murdered.

The third year Philosophy, Politics, and Economics undergrad met Kirk and debated face-to-face back in May, during which the president-elect showed up in sweatpants and a T-shirt.

Abaraonye challenged Kirk to expand on his claims that younger generations of boys are being negatively affected by the wider culture, which tamps down masculinity.

"It's a very good faith question, thank you," Kirk said to Abaraonye while they squared off over podiums.

The two did come to loggerheads over the issue of "infantilization of young men" and "toxic femininity," which Abarayone suggested was a byproduct of an "oppressive system."

When asked what could contribute to happiness in men is, in part, "openness to allowing men to express themselves any way they want."

Obviously, someone who is interested in debate should not also be fans of murdering people who beat your dumb DEI ass in a debate.

And the Oxford Union has wisely -- finally -- agreed with that.

After the degenerates' emails were leaked, revealing that he hates Oxford and the UK itself, and ran to become president of the Oxford Union out of sheer racial spite.

The president-elect of the Oxford Union has lost a no-confidence vote after he was criticised for comments appearing to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk.

Oh, it "appeared" that way, did it?

"Charlie Kirk got shot, let's f***ing go!!!"

The motion against George Abaraonye had met the required two-thirds threshold to oust the student from his position, the society has announced.

...

Mr Abaraonye is disputing the no-confidence vote, telling the BBC people campaigning to oust him had "unsupervised access" to the email account collecting proxy ballots.

...

According to the Telegraph, Mr Abaraonye posted a message on Instagram which read "Charlie Kirk got shot loool" - an elongated version of the phrase 'lol' which means 'laughing out loud'.

...

Last week, Mr Abaraonye said he had submitted the motion of no confidence in himself, with voting taking place over the weekend.

Pride goeth.

A notice published by extraordinary returning officer Donovan Lock on Tuesday said 1,228 ballots were cast in favour of no confidence, while 501 were against.

The notice stated the president-elect was deemed to have resigned in accordance with Oxford Union's rules.

Proceedings were informally suspended early on Monday after the returning officer was allegedly subjected to "obstruction, intimidation, and unwarranted hostility by a number of representatives", a notice said.

In a statement, Mr Abaraonye claimed the count had been halted because electoral officials believed "no legitimate and true result could be reached as a result of procedural failures".

"We unequivocally deny that any representative appointed by George engaged in intimidating or disruptive behaviour," his statement stated.

It said the "extremely serious issues" had been referred to the disciplinary committee on Monday afternoon and that Mr Abaraonye remained president-elect.

In other words, he's crying -- get this -- "racism."

No one could have possibly seen that one coming.

"George is proud and thankful to have the support of well in excess of a majority of students at Oxford, who voted to have a safe election and resist attempts to subvert democracy," his statement added.

...

On Friday, Mikey McCoy, Kirk's former chief of staff, read out an open letter to the Oxford Union on The Charlie Kirk Show podcast.

It accused the union of becoming a place where "presidents of the union publicly celebrate the assassination of a political opponent".

The letter said that if Mr Abaraonye were to remain in post, Kirk's allies would "personally contact every American political speaker who has ever graced the union's chamber and urge them never again to lend their name, time or reputation to that institution that has betrayed its founding ideals".

As I mentioned, this psychopathic token was defenestrated after his emails were leaked, showing him to be -- get this -- a hateful and malignant person.

The controversial president-elect of the Oxford Union -- the world's most prestigious debate club -- once endorsed the claim that Queen Elizabeth perpetuated "genocide" and said he "hates" the famed organization he now leads, texts obtained by The Post reveal.

George Abaraonye, an Oxford University student who became infamous after he celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk just months after the two debated, claimed in leaked WhatsApp text messages that he only sought the presidency of the vaunted Oxford Union because of "hate."

"If u hate it then you should run for the presidency!!!!" one Oxford student wrote in a group WhatsApp chat with members of the debating society, which was founded in 1823.

"Real lol that's what I did," answered Abaraonye, 20, who was elected in June.

In another message from the chat which included from Oxford, Trinity College, and Keble College, Abaraonye endorsed the idea that Queen Elizabeth was a perpetrator of "genocide and famine."

"Bro low-key the day before the Queen died I did a massive post about her being implicit in genocide and famine and just a big thing about imperialism," one person wrote in the chat.

"And then when she died so many people got angry at me because they thought that I somehow killed the queen because of bad vibes," the Oxford student continued, referencing the monarch's September 2022 death.

"Based," Abaraonye said in response to the tasteless message, using slang for unapologetic approval.

The leftist also expressed an antipathy for "white establishments."

"But I don't frequent white establishments so I don't have firsthand experience," he wrote regarding "Indie Fridays," a monthly concert series at Oxford University.
WhatsApp chat showing George Abaraonye's response, "real lol that's what I did," to an earlier message that says, "if u hate it then you should run for presidency!!!!"

Oxford is a bit strange in that which college of Oxford you attend affects the rep of your degree in the UK. Outside, like in the US, most people simply see Oxford, not so in UK, Australia, etc.

If you google around, you can find unofficial rankings and the Norrington Tables actually deal with exam result rankings.

131 I was glad to see that perhaps some sense has returned to Oxford, at least for a day. Tolkien and Lewis can roll a little leas in their graves tonight. And it's fitting that in asking for a no confidence vote out of egotistical hubris, the anti Kirk student sealed his own fate.

This George kid has a corrosive chip on his shoulder. Hope he can find a way to let that burden of hate go one day. I bet he sees racism everywhere on campus. I'm sure some is there. But a lot more of the discrimination at Oxford is probably just class based, and a general "outsider vs insider" mentality at these schools that goes well beyond race.

It can be satisfying to rip on the impossible situation higher education has placed themselves in. They get themselves into these messes on their own. But it's also a tragedy so see all the great institutions get ripped down, especially higher ed. Education should be sacrosanct, and instead has been ravaged by the progressive woke.

Yes indeed. War industry is civilian and also, to those who care about such things, a legitimate military target.

Modern industrial warfare makes the distinction difficult. All-of-society total war like WWII was makes the distinction impossible.

Total war means *everyone* is a military target, because *everyone* is working on the war. There's no difference between a factory and an airfield, or between an apartment building and a barracks.

Total war is an unpleasant game.

90s valley girl speak infecting all the youth nationwide was its own strange fun thing. But the brain rot spoken by today's gen alpha generation deserves a special trophy for ridiculousness. For example:

"..."6-7" is a slang term used by Gen Alpha that has no definitive meaning, originating from the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by rapper Skrilla and a viral video of NBA player LaMelo Ball. The numbers are linked to Ball's height of 6 feet 7 inches, and the phrase is used as a meaningless interjection or response, with some users linking it to indifference or a "so-so" feeling."

Posted by: Disinterested FDA Director at October 21, 2025 06:56 PM (l3YAf)

Not really, colonialism was a modern form of mercantilism and was used to exploit the colonies for the economic benefit of the home country. The French right up to last year when the countries in Africa rejected the CFA Franc were an example of how it worked.

everyone applauds the Brits, but they jacked around with local currencies and leaderships to keep the lid on it all and put vicious limits on who and where what could be manufactured and sold - and in doing so got themselves in an economic bind with Asian debts in 1910. The worst were the Belgians who ran a country sized work camp nearly as bad as Pol Pot's wet dreams, and the best seems to have been the Germans and the Italians.

159 Youth slang isn't stupid. I ever tell you about the time I invented the word malarkey? It was during the Austro-Prussian War. My chief of staff, an old bat called Taylor Lorenz, told me Bismarck's Republicans killed my Beau in a cowardly windshield-oil attack.

"MALARKEY," I shouted, "THAT'S MALARKEY!"

The word came to me just like that! Sadly, it was no malarkey, jack. Even though I beat Helmuth von Moltke to death with a length of chain, nothing could bring him back. Beau was deader than Donald Trump's political career. I had to cremate him myself in a burn pit outside Bratislava.

Word as a Brandon.

Dresden was mostly British. They took their Lancasters to Dresden and we focused much more on other targets. In part over other disagreements around tactics, IIRC.

Like virtually everything in that war, there wasn't a single reason for anything. The Soviets wanted heavy bombing of eastern Germany, the British wanted vengeance, we wanted to make the Soviets happy, all had their own strategic and tactical preferences, etc.

Stop listening to commie propaganda. They’ll tell you King Leopold killed twice as many Congolese than even existed at the time. They now claim tens of millions of dead which is not only absurd, but what physically impossible for the small Belgian.

The cutting off of hands pre-dated European contact and was practiced by cannibalistic locals and Arab slavers alike. The Belgians put a stop to it wherever they could.

The Soviets *did* invade Japan. They made a mad dash to do so they could claim half of it after the surrender. Landed on Hokkaido and seized some of the coastal territory at fairly great cost - not because it was well defended (it wasn't - Japan was throwing everything south to fight the US), but because the Soviets had no skill at contested amphibious landings.

But they did get boots on the ground in Japan before the end of the war. Not that it mattered for Stalin.

Correct. Zanzibar would march her slave grabbing armies across Africa every year from East to West under the red flag and the natives in the way fled in terror whenever they could.
