32 People were talking about weather underground in the last thread and I was wondering if anyone has read "Special Topics In Calamity Physics"

It's long so I picked it for an audio book to listen to on an hour long commute into work back in the 00's. I listened to a lot of books back then. It's an odd book but the narrator voice is a millennial aged kid in high school that is finding out her parents were high level undiscovered operators in a weather underground type group. People start to get killed off, teachers, friends, etc..

Again, a very odd book and all fiction, not a biography or anything, but it was an interesting listen. No politics really, all the characters are pretty much are amoral trash with the possible exception of the narrator even though her viewpoint is understood to be unreliable.

Ninja makes an electric grill for outside that you can also use wood pellets with. It has a flat griddle plate too.

They are just about as good as the real thing with propane or charcoal.

Exactly. It's part of the condo rules in my case. Even for the detached duplexes, you can only smoke inside with the windows and doors closed. No way I'm buying a condo.
