Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Cultural Enrichment Agents Are Arrested in Boston for Cultural Enriching Multiple Police OfficersSo much wonderful third-world barbarism and the endless cultural enrichment we're suffering. Remember when Democrats pretended, for four hours on January 6th 2021, that they were Rilly Rilly Opposed to Violence Against Cops? For four blissful hours, violent riots were not the voice of the voiceless. A judge set "high bail" for the pro-Palestinian invaders and brigands. According to the media. Two more protesters charged in the outburst of violence during a pro-Palestine march and rally Tuesday have been held on $10,000 bail. A number of others were held on $7,500 and $5,000.This is "high bail"? January 6th "paraders" were held in solitary confinement pre-trial and some were sentenced to 20 years in prison. The high bail amounts are the latest as public officials respond to the chaotic protest Tuesday that left a Boston Police officer with a broken nose and likely in need of reconstructive surgery. Osama El Khatib, 26, of Watertown and Styx Hatch, 19, of Boston were both held on $10,000 bail.Osama, huh? Always remember that bail bondsmen only expect you to put up 10% of the cost of the bond, with them fronting the rest. (Their fee is that 10%, which you don't get back). So basically this is $1000 fine. So high a fine for Osama! Wow this bail is so high I can't even believe it. In a statement Wednesday, Suffolk County DA Kevin Hayden condemned the violence. "These defendants were not in court today because they were protesting," Hayden said. "They were in court because they committed crimes. If you assault police and commit other offenses you're going to be arrested and prosecuted, period.Pro-Palestinian "protesters" did damage estimated at $400,000 to statues and other property at Case Western University. Although the school's president promised the jihadists would be prosecuted, in fact, they were let go with no criminal prosecution. They were, however, required to pay for the damage they caused. Well, not even all of it. They were required to pay the school $350,000 for the $400,000 in damage they caused, and then they would be set free with no jail and not even a criminal record that would jeopardize their precious "student" visas. And these entitled foreign savages are still complaining that they're being mistreated. [T]hey made a plea deal which meant they would have no criminal record at all so long as they paid for the cost of the cleanup. These babies are getting off easy and still whine that they are being punished too harshly. They really expect to walk away from this with zero consequences so long as they pay back the cost of the cleanup. But why should the school continue to allow students who broke the law and defaced the campus to study there? At least one of them is in trouble at another school after Case Western filed a complaint about him. Again, he acts like this is shocking behavior and not bare minimum consequences for his behavior. "It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy." It's dogma among the right, especially the Christian right, that men need women to civilize them. I don't think that's true. Consider that they are the mass baby-murders and the genital mutilators. Women need men to civilize and contain them. Otherwise we get what we're seeing now in terms of rampant cultural degeneration. "They were, however, required to pay for the damage they caused. Well, not even all of it. They were required to pay the school $350,000 for the $400,000 in damage they caused, and then they would be set free with no jail and not even a criminal record that would jeopardize their precious "student" visas."
It's actually common in property-damage cases that the prosecution agrees to a no-jail plea (or even dropping the charges altogether) that includes full or close to full restitution. The property owner who was damaged almost always prefers this outcome, because he gets money to repair. That even happens in cases involving assault, at least back in the old days when my dad was a criminal defense lawyer. Guys would get into a fight, one would get the worst of it, and the other guy would pay $x and the prosecutor would drop it. I think in many states there are even new rules requiring an attempt to make it about restitution rather than jail time. For these motherfuckers, though? I would throw them out of the fucking country. But the prosecutors might not have had much of a choice. Posted by: Elric The Blade at October 10, 2025 03:05 PM (iFTx/) 167

Senate passed the defense bill... all it needs is a Signature and Military gets paid.
Posted by: Romeo13 I think the House passed an Omnibus (1 whole package). It probably can't be split up for Defense-only to be approved by itself, it would need a new House vote (which probably wont' happen as they have gone home already). It's the Senate trying to blame House Republicans for "military doesn't get paid!" BS. Posted by: Scott_T at October 10, 2025 03:30 PM (2waQ7) 277

>>I recently got an LP of Michael Jackson's Off The Wall album.
Side 1 of that LP is Peak MJ. And I have never come across a bad pressing of that one. Truly the pinnacle of Quincy Jones career, imo. Posted by: garrett at October 10, 2025 03:20 PM (BG2Yo) Mumbledy years ago, that was a big hit with the kids. A local HS was having a dance. Some of the HS girls pulled me up through the girls' bathroom* window, to sneak me into the dance. When I got into the dance, Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough was the song that was playing. I'd forgotten that memory, until I reheard that song last year after not hearing it for decades. *Yes, I was old enough to appreciate the magnificence and significance of that place. Bulg, Mila (and Ashton) seemed like good people, but then they screwed up defending Danny "I can rape as many girls as I want 'cuz I'm a rich famous Hollywood Scientologist" Masterson.
Then their 'retraction' sounded as if the entire FBI had guns to their heads. So now I have no idea what kind of people they are. Posted by: qdpsteve at October 10, 2025 03:36 PM (/p+XQ) 293

Not really. Up until recently, we could only be relied on for world class steak. Anything else was almost always a compromise. In recent years there has been a bit of a surge in quality food options. But prior to that, most everything was coming to all the restaurants from Sysco. Posted by: garrett at October 10, 2025 03:40 PM (BG2Yo) 302

Case Western - revoke any immigration cards along with any degrees or credits earned at the university. Deport the individuals in question.
If they want their transcripts, say "we have no record of this student ever attending this college." See, they don't have to pay a dime for the damages they caused, we'll just take back the degrees and keep the fees they paid in compensation. I don't actually think that is unfair. When I was in college, a student put soap into the school fountain, which then proceeded to suds up. They caught the kid, and he had to pay to clean the fountain, AND was placed on academic probation. And nobody batted an eye. Since Trump’s reelection, Machado has been an outspoken supporter of the U.S. president, describing him as the “biggest opportunity we’ve ever had” for regime change in Venezuela.
In September, the U.S. military attacked a Venezuelan speedboat carrying 11 people. Machado insisted to The Sunday Times that Trump was right to bomb the boat. “I totally support his strategy,” Machado said. “And I’ve said on behalf of the Venezuelan people that we are very grateful. I think it is the right thing to do. It’s courageous. It’s visionary.” Posted by: El Mariachi - Attorney at Law at October 10, 2025 04:12 PM (gDhA9) 316
