Late night host Jimmy Kimmel said he was unwilling to apologize for his remarks that blamed MAGA supporters for killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk -- and said he was going to double down on attacking President Trump's backers before he was yanked from the air, according to new reports. Kimmel learned in a phone call from top Disney exec Dana Walden on Wednesday afternoon that his show was being removed indefinitely, Deadline reported, citing sources. During the call, Kimmel reportedly refused to comply with calls from critics and the owners of dozens of ABC affiliate stations for him to apologize. Kimmel felt his remarks required no apologies, another source told The Hollywood Reporter. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" host also claimed that he was planning to call out his critics for the latest attack on him, all while trying to clarify his comments about Kirk's death. Kimmel has claimed that his comments were mischaracterized when he said during a Monday night show that the "MAGA gang" was "desperately" trying to pin left-wing ideology on Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old indicted for Kirk's murder.
Disney, however, felt that if Kimmel had doubled down on his MAGA comments, the company would have been forced to make a more drastic decision than simply suspending the show, sources told Deadline.

Activist Brian Krassenstein blasted Disney and ABC for caving "for political reasons" and urged boycotts of Nexstar, Sinclair and their advertisers. "Hit them where it hurts: the $$$," he wrote.

I have mentioned this before, but I took my wife, who is Korean, and two ladies she grew up with, who are also Korean, to the airport at O-Dark Thirty to catch a plane. He would tell you that I am a trial but still look pretty good. I am a PITA because I don't like to vacuum. So he does. I do all the rest. Well, he cooks, too.Otherwise I am good. Training was easy. When we first married I did not cook because I did not know how. I guess he trained me as well. Breakfast was a no go for a new wife who went to bed at 1am after her shift and tried to cook this for him at 6am before his class. I failed about 3x to get it all warm at the same time or not burnt. He told me not to bother and I carried that on for years.
On a rare date before I met him I blew up a gas oven, trying to cook for the second date with a guy I met at the university. It as pretty awesome (I didn't know you had to light a pilot light for the oven). I never questioned why he did not call me again. Once you go deaf for a few hours and watch asbestos rain down into your dinner it was a done deal.
I prefer douchebag to douchecanoe. It has a better ring to it and my Long Island husband taught me the word. It still makes me smile when he says it.

On a rare date before I met him I blew up a gas oven, trying to cook for the second date with a guy I met at the university. It as pretty awesome (I didn't know you had to light a pilot light for the oven). I never questioned why he did not call me again. Once you go deaf for a few hours and watch asbestos rain down into your dinner it was a done deal.

This is a direct result of that Judge dropping the trespassing charges against that NJ Mayor recently on the NJ Ice Facility. They felt emboldened as a result, and now we have the same thing happening again. As long as they don't impede ICE or physically accost them, they can do what they want without repercussions.

I think its obvious. Kimmel's own ratings told him the show is over and there was no way he would get another contract - at least at anywhere near his asking.
So he Kamikazied himself into an early retirement where ABC still has to pay out the contract but Kimmel doesn't have to work.

I think I've been thrown off of every breed known to man. My earliest memory is of being bucked off a horse. My father bought a retired cutting horse, only she didn't know she was retired. I climbed aboard, and that girl didn't do anything but go chase cows; the reins were pointless. Still, all in all, it was a lot of fun.

He yelled over the loud music, "WTH?" I replied with a "WUT?" Prior to this BOOM I was cooking the one dish I knew in the skillet. If I had been bending over to put the bread in I think the oven door would have killed me vs a hematoma on my thigh. Singed my hair a bit on one side (down to my waist...I was not bright).
I had been looking pretty good before the explosion. All was romantic.
He came into the kitchen, turned off all the gas, put my wooden spoon in the sink and gave me a beer. We sat on the sofa staring into space with our beers for either an hour or two. Unsure. No talking as we really were deaf. He just left at some point. I saw him years later at a hockey game (I was married) and he waved and was smiling. I am not easily forgotten.
A few days later a girl in the apt two doors down asked if I felt the earthquake. I told her I was just trying to cook.
