Midterms are...funnier and the economy is usually less of an overriding factor than in presidential years.
They're much easier to localize.
But...the big factor is that if the Democrat Party has become overly reliant on fed grants to create an ecosystem of manufactured support, both rhetorical and financial, and if that fed grant system has been materially curbed (which it seems to have been, in spades), then can the Democrat Party...raise money, run GOTV efforts, and convince people to get out?

Even if the economy is the overriding factor, you can't rely on topline numbers to predict how things will go.
The topline numbers are...funny right now. We have very positive GDP growth with negative or near negative job growth. It's...a mixed picture because the basic assumptions of what a good economy is that we all learned to assume through the 90s and 00s are simply not operable.
The big factor is immigration. We're going to see so much net out migration this year that it may actually shrink the population of the US. What kind of job numbers do you expect to be good in a shrinking population when the assumption of 150,000 per month being considered good was because of...population growth?
Hell, even Powell admitted in his last speech that Biden's job numbers were bullshit and all illegals.

The best way to read it is that the 150,000-200,000 per month that's considered good in normal times is because of population growth. People becoming adults + immigration needs that many jobs to keep up.
But, if we're deporting 2 million people in the first 8 months of Trump's term (flouted by the admin earlier today), that affects things. Split that out, that's 250,000 people per month, gone.

I am up 30% over a year and up 70% over two years. I just dumped TSLA on it's recent run, and I just dumped INTC on NVDA announcement of $5B investment in INTC.
I'd be ecstatic about that, but for the cost of things still being insane and seeing the National Debt jump $1T in two months.

Town near mine had a budget fight recently. The state took away their "temporary" COVID funds but they had used them to hire bureaucrats including a "sustainability engineer".
Anyway they demanded a 25% increase in taxes or they'd have to fire a bunch of teachers and close a school.
Someone looked up enrollment and noticed over the last 10 years it was down 33% yet somehow the education budget near declined so they should have been able to absorb a 25% cut...or more...with no loss of services.

Kimmel is the one that pulled the trigger on his own demise, not ABC. And I suspect it was because his contract was soon up next year and his show ratings were down. Affiliates demanded ABC do something. ABC corporate demanded Kimmel apologize and probably had one written out for him. Kimmel refused to do so and indicated he was going to double down on what he said previously.
Kimmel is the one that pulled the trigger on his own demise, not ABC. And I suspect it was because his contract was soon up next year and his show ratings were down. This way, he can jump to a new platform probably on streaming and try to ride the brief wave of lefty hero while trying to collect the rest of his contract via a lawsuit against ABC.

Ultimately that is the sad truth. When someone reaches that point, there is no reaching them. I was literally walking to step in front of a train years back, and the only thing that stopped me was realizing what it would do to my family. I couldn't do that to them. But I wasn't all the way over the edge, I could be reached. I have talked to people who could not be reached. I got the suicide note online from a woman I tried for days to reach and help.
It makes you feel so helpless and powerless and frustrated and small.

Shapiro was talking about starting up his own meet the students type get togethers from what I heard. SHAPIRO DEFEATS LEFTISTS WITH FACT AND LOGIC.
I'd assume his widow would be running the organization rather than visit the colleges herself. She has children to raise as well, they will have to find other people to do the shows on campus.

Have read tattoo ink fades over time. Speaking from experience, so does skin. So when you are olde you will look like you did with Silly Putty skin on the color cartoons of the Sunday paper. Shar pei colored silly putty.
I try to understand the entire arm floral design. Of course I don't, but I have tried. Lovely girls allow this. Sometimes you can't see their skin at all, that worries me about seeing melanoma.
Then I note lately the random cartoon stuff, willy nilly. As if I saw a butterfly today: butterfly tattoo. Boyfriend's initals, then you have to turn that into a turnip when you break up with him. A random emogie. All of that looks tacky and weird and discombobulating.
Of course I say nothing and cause riots. Nor do I tell people they need to have their wicked moles looked at (I am a skin cancer survivor and would be a pretty good dermatologist at this point). It is good that, so far, people cannot read my thought bubbles in public. I have a good poker face (I think).

Unauthorized use of a vehicle

Receiving stolen property
A person can be charged with receiving stolen property if they intentionally receive or retain movable property, knowing or believing that it has been stolen.
Merely being in possession of stolen goods is not enough to automatically assume theft.
Can be filed alongside theft by unlawful taking.

I am so sorry.
When I was a new charge RN, age 23, I was sitting at the desk one night when our work was done. My LPN was on the phone with her boyfriend when he put a gun to his head. I will never forget that moment of horror for her. The next hour is a blur I have forgotten of how I helped her, kept 20 patients alive, gave report to the 11-7 RN and went home.
I did not even know him and this scrambled my mind for a day or two.
Blessings to all this has touched in their lives.

I'd assume his widow would be running the organization rather than visit the colleges herself. She has children to raise as well, they will have to find other people to do the shows on campus.

Shapiro kind of started that way on college campuses but his speech method is offputting and he is not a particularly empathetic speaker compared with Charlie Kirk. Plus different faiths. Kirk came from a proselytizing Christian faith with all its plusses and minusses, very different than Jewish practice. Some of his friends thought Charlie would become more like Billy Graham and less political. Others thought he might be president someday.
I don't think anyone would say that about Shapiro.

I don't know why, but I've got more lives and Angels than a cat -- a couple handful of near-death experiences.
A few decades ago I was suicidal (various reasons); driving on the way to some wilderness area at night where my body could not be found (except maybe by bears), I was on a long straight two-lane highway and apparently became somewhat hypnotized ... and suddenly saw that I was blowing past a stop sign as the road had ended at a T.
Instinctively slammed on the brakes and went up over the curb and thought it was Thelma and Louise.
It was about a 15 ft drop and I totaled the car. That accident shook me up and saved my life ... another Angel save.

I know about Shapiro's earlier shows. I heard Shapiro speaking of restarting his own outreach on campus and not taking over Charlies. I have seen nothing yet that the two groups are related at all.
