After Biden's and Chris Wray's FBI ran out of people who went to grade school with the J6ers, they turned to the real target: every Republican advocacy group, including the RNC (!!!) and Turning Point USA.FBI Director Kash Patel faces questions during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday morning, during which Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) revealed that whistleblower revelations showed that Joe Biden's FBI targeted not just Donald Trump, but a wide swath of Republican organizations -- including Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA. Grassley reminded Patel of the FBI's recent history of political weaponization, pointing directly to an operation known as "Arctic Frost." "At your nomination hearing, I made public records that whistleblowers provide me about Arctic Frost," Grassley said. "Arctic Frost was the FBI case opened and approved by anti-Trump FBI Agent Thibeau. Arctic Frost then became Jack Smith's elector case against then-citizen Trump and now-President Trump." According to Grassley, newly obtained records show that the Arctic Frost probe was far broader than previously known. "The case was expanded to Republican organizations," Grassley explained. "Some examples of the group that Wray and FBI sought to place under political investigation included the Republican National Committee, Republican Attorney General's Association, and various Trump political groups." The scope was staggering. "In total, 92 Republican targets, including Republican groups and Republican-linked individuals, were placed under investigative scope of Arctic Frost," Grassley said. "On that political list was one of Charlie Kirk's groups, Turning Point USA." Grassley argued that the evidence proves that Arctic Frost was more than just an anti-Trump operation. It was actually about crippling the Republican political infrastructure. "In other words, Arctic Frost wasn't just a case to politically investigate Trump," Grassley declared. "It was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus."Grassley recently revealed that Thibault, who by this time was a known partisan bad-actor, induced two other FBI agents to "open" the investigation that Thibault himself had opened, to hide his role in it.
Based on the facts and evidence that Senator Johnson and I've obtained to-date, and based on the FBI's own rules, Thibault essentially self-approved his own case, in violation of FBI rules. Accordingly, Arctic Frost, as they codenamed the Trump case, was defective from the start -- not only from a political infection standpoint, but also because of substantial non-compliance with FBI rules.

Maybe they have this "perception of the world" b/c they already have a significant mental health disorder which is warping their perception of themselves. So, it's not a big step to think it's almost certainly warping their perception of the greater world's thoughts about them as well.

But, the thing that grabbed me was that they were actually pulling certain people out of the classroom for interviews. I remember 2 very obese black women (one of whom I chit chatted with before all this)...and she had no work experience AT ALL. I, personally, had a decade of investigative experience and an Uncle who ran a large Florida office for the FBI as a SAIC. He had a very good reputation for results.
I never got an interview. ALSO, and I can't highlight this enough. He told me they only hire married applicants because they are easier to control, coerce. He said he was happy I didn't get the job. It was to my benefit not to get mixed up in the politics.

Liz Lem, it's your sibling and I'm trying to be as gentle as possible. I had a close friend who was anorexic. She did not make it to graduation. We had many lovely conversations; she was lovely, talented and bright.
She was also, to be frank, mentally ill. At no point did I not know that she was. Of course I loved and accepted her all the same; I wished she could overcome her demons with all my heart. I cheered and supported her when she was hospitalized and trying to heal.
It's very hard, mental illness.

My Father in Law is this kind of personality. One time I went to a Seahawks game with him, the Seahawks lost, and as everyone was walking to their cars he started loudly cheering for the other team. He doesn't care about football. He's just a contrarian who can suddenly decide it's funny to be an antisocial dick. I love the guy most of the time, but it's a problem.

We know that the FBI and sister orgs have a bunch of undercover agents working with "known wolves". The idea is that they can better keep an eye on them if they are going to do something that way.

Yes. They did a very competent and thorough job investigating thousands and thousands of Americans and foreign nationals for nazi, communist and subversive beliefs from the 1930s through the 1970s.
The problem, then as now, it does absolutely no good if the White House and the DOJ is determined not to do anything, or actively cover up.
Truman famously held (confiscated) all the State Department loyalty and background files on their employees and wouldn’t let the Senate look at them. There was serious problems with certain key Army personnel at the time as well. I think the FBI got queered sometime after the Church committee. Certainly by the 1980s.

The celeb I was most surprised about supporting Charlie Kirk was Chris Martin of Coldplay. Had a moment of respect for him at one of their concerts.
This is the same Brit Chris Martin that got up at an awards ceremony and told all us Yanks to vote for John Kerry. He was one of the first celebs for my generation to shove politics into our faces when we just wanted to be entertained. I've never forgotten it, and have resented him for it ever since.
Maybe getting Gwyneth's goopy claws off of him has made him less crazy. Who knows.

In Romania, the case with which I am most familiar (I am Romanian), several important mostly left-wing politicians, including a former prime minister, went to jail for corruption. There was a lot of pressure, some coming from the EU, to fight corruption about 10 years ago. However, the political class (left and right) closed ranks and successfully neutered the anti-corruption campaign. Important politicians are unlikely to go to jail again.

Redford was the bane of Utahns who had to commute through the canyons between SLC and Park City, and his precious Sundance compound. He held up highway expansions and improvements, for the sake of the environment, that would have saved the lives of so many drivers. A lot of extra needless road deaths during that time.

Technically the governor does need to sign off on it, of course, so Trump can only do that move with governors who don't have the incentive to play resistoid.
Plus, it helps politically. Knocking down crime stats in red states with terrible blue enclaves of crime undermines the whole, "Red states have terrible crime too" narrative.

Most bigotry against Jews is because they are so sucessful. The reason (I think) they are is because their culture is the best at deferring gratification, they make decisions based on "how can i position my future grandson to have a leg up on the competition". Candace Owen's comes from a culture that is opposite this, rioting to steal Nike shoes and flatscreens. So the reason Jews are successful is foreign to her - the only viable explanation left to her is some global conspiracy nonsense.

You tried to do a good thing, and the recipient shat upon you - it's a lot more common than it should be, but there are people out there who believe it's owed to them, or are inherently evil and revel in causing trouble for good people.
