20 One of our pups just had surgery last week to remove a tumor down by her tail. Her doctor called to report that the tumor was fully removed with clean margins, and was benign so she shouldn't need further treatment. Her stitches are slated to come out next week.

Jeremiah "Liver-Eating" Johnson was indeed a vengeful mountain man who waged a vendetta against his Crow neighbors in the mid-19th century over the killing of his wife, a member of the Flathead tribe. I have looked around for some citation that the movie star was asked or spoke about about this happenstance but haven't found it. (Note, he had nothing to do with the making of "Jeremiah Johnson," other than to star in it. He was the second or third choice for the lead role).

What I'm hearing from Tucker, and what I hear from listening to recordings of Charlie and others, is something they have that I don't, which seems to be a firmness to their faith, not just in God and Jesus Christ, but the institutions of faith on this planet.

There's a great German restaurant in Jersey, all the way out by Joint Base McGuire, called Sebastian's Schnitzelhaus. The place is filled with knick-knacks and dolls. And more dolls. They are everywhere, even in the bathrooms. Inside the stall in the ladies room there are about three dolls of various sizes, one in a carriage. All staring at you.

All that said, the chef is excellent, the staff terrific, and the food superb. If you're ever in the neighborhood it's worth a stop.

Everybody is affected by the people around them all the time. I have made this observation about ace or Harry P. A lot of what people are getting is the sensibilities they are soaking in.

You are right, Rush moved in those circles for a lot of years and that would affect someone.

Rush constantly tore into the country club types because he wasn't one. I think people have to remember that Rush was not a static personality, and how he ended was not how he started.

He was very much an iconoclast, sick of the Establishment GOP, and an eager and loud supporter of the revolutionaries.

But as he got older and his show became an institution, he became less interested in stirring the pot and more interested in make money. So many schemes, so much merch, from being a Snapple sponsor two selling ties, tea, book, kids books, etc.

I knew he was past his prime when he blinked in the face of Sandra Fluke's outrage. Old Rush never backed down - its the shock jock's credo, but he was afraid of a sponsor boycott because he was hooked on money.

yeah , heres the ting, youre confusing my logix with others logic, the left loves it when Israel gets criticized because they hate Israel. Since there nothing for Israel to do at the public level, nothing happens.

However, if somebody from the right criticizes Israel, because the right cares for and supports Israel, it matters, so Israel's supporters do so because it has impact.

I mean if Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Dave Smith, Tim Dillon, and now Megyn Kelly are trying to explain why they do not hate the Israelis and why they are simply asking questions, the good faith assumption is that they are telliing the truth.

Rush may have been very far-right in his heart. But the “most conservative electable [Republican]”, in a process controlled by the GOPe often ends up being Lisa Murkowski or Paul Ryan types.

It’s like asking for the “sexiest photo of Lena Dunham.” It exists, but the very definition has ruled out anything you’d really want to see.
