FBI is Useless the Secret Service is also Useless What the hell is going on with the SS? How did they allow awful, potentially violent, Democrat protestors within inches of the President & Cabinet members at that D.C. restaurant? Why was that room not cleared of risks? Why did it take minutes for the SS to clear those people out of the room? Posted by: Soothsayer at September 11, 2025 04:34 AM (pbw3t) 8

I don't cotton to the "assassin was a pro" theory, too much. I think it was just some leftist jerkoff with a little training and a lot of luck. Just like thomas crooks would've been if he had been successful. However... Patrick Bet-David floated a "possibility" that, if, IF, a left-wing counterpart is assassinated soon, then we should open to the possibility this is an "outside" actor, i.e., a foreign agent, to cause a political civil war in the USA. chinese, indians, whoever -- create another 2020 scenario to get Trump out of power. Lots of foreign countries have Motive to try something like this -- and our CIA is Useless. Posted by: Soothsayer at September 11, 2025 04:44 AM (pbw3t) 15
Betting huge money that Trantifa will be found at the heart of this political assassination. They're the FBI's favorite panty-wearing, child-diddling, Marxist paramilitary force.
That's why James Comey and Chris Wray protected them all those years. Posted by: Sam Adams at September 11, 2025 04:45 AM (X+xvk) 16
Seems like the shooter must be a member of some kind of militia. Gun skills; stealth and planning skills in getting to the sniper perch; a network to get him invisibly vamoosed. Maybe local, familiar with the campus. Maybe paid for this by people not of his ideology?

Willowed hardcore, LOL.
—— There’s some shitposting going on, but I’ve gotten a very rapid education that the left in general thought of Kirk as a major villain. Bigger than we think of actual DC elected Dems. Waaaay out of order of his actual footprint. It’d be like if Ace and Insty and Greg Gutfeld started talking daily about the Krassensteins or something. Earlier this year, SPLC named TPUSA the official resurrection of the actual Nazi Party. Yes, really. This was relatively widely discussed in mainstream lefty circles at the time and got zero notice from conservatives. Less than a week ago Jezebel, the feminist website, ran an article about sending money to witches on Etsy to put a curse on Charlie Kirk. You’d think they were making shit up for content and they’d pull the article, but nope. After he died yesterday they reposted the article and gloated that it worked. This certainly feels like the start of the hot war.
My 82-year old mother had no idea who Charlie Kirk was. She messaged me and asked me why everyone was making such a big deal about it....because my idiot, ultra-woke niece told her that Kirk was a racistnazihomphobeJesusFreak. I suppressed my rage long enough to try to set her straight (honestly, I wasn't a follower of Kirk, but I was aware of him). Then I ripped my niece to shreds, verbally. We'll never speak again. I really can't stand that they're making me hate like this. The Left has gone full=blown psychotic. The so-called "normie" Democrats, however many are left, should choose wisely. Charlie's focus was on young school to college age kids, not adults too much so it's not surprising adults don't know who he was.

Charlie Kirk was murdered because he was consequential and was making a difference, he was changing things through the evangelization of conservative thought and ideology, especially to the youth.
He is literally a martyr for the cause. Posted by: Thomas Bender at September 11, 2025 05:07 AM (5AIol) 35
Democrat's assassin was already 600 feet away when he murdered Charlie Kirk. Asssasin was already gone by the time people knew what happened. Assassin wasn't among the crowd. He was far enough way to pack up and walk off campus before any "search" could mobilize. Doesn't take a "professional" to accomplish that. Posted by: Thomas Bender In the 1990s during the peak of the eco-terrorism wave it took months for the FBI to track down the perps but eventually they got them. For the most part, the FBI did this while a tight lip support group covered up and protected the perps. Today is different. There is so much camera surveillance it is impossible that the assassin(s) we're not caught on camera either on campus or while accessing the campus. Toss in electronic footprints and it becomes a matter of time. I would not be surprised if it takes months, maybe longer, for law enforcement to figure out who pulled off this assassination, but eventually they will. It is a rare thing to pull off a political assassination and get away clean. One case was a federal prosecutor who was assassinated in Seattle while inside his house. The FBI pursued that one into the ground and they got down to one guy but they never could make the case. And then there's Kennedy assassination; It seems that you need the CIA to pull that off and get away with it while in plain sight. In the meantime we've got a Bleeding Kansas type situation happening now it seems. Posted by: Alteria Pilgram - My President has convictions. at September 11, 2025 05:14 AM (aJQjq) 39
Skip, that is true, but the fact that my niece blatantly lied about h to her gullible grandmother pushed me over the edge. My mother, God bless her, is a kind but naive woman. Politically, she still thinks it's the 70's and the Democrats are for the "working man".

I've been asking myself for the last 12 hours: why only 1 shot? Sure, the assassin hit his target. But why not keep going? *I'm presuming only 1 round fired because that's what all the witnesses are reporting. The answer is, I guess, is it was a true assassination, no doubt about it. It wasn't a mass shooting. It wasn't random. It was strictly an assassination of a singular target. Posted by: Soothsayer at September 11, 2025 05:28 AM (sQ2Vm) 49

I'm up early off a nightmare, though in the real world it would just have been a major PITA. A fellow at work asked me to come with him on an errand after we finished. Turns out he planned to go by bus! We crammed into a tiny bus station kiosk, facing a half-hour wait; and then, he tells me, we would have to walk through a bad area of town to his destination, then walk back and wait for another bus. I suggested we get his car, and offered to bring him in my car; no answer.
We left to run another errand at what seemed to be a local charity/thrift store. As often in my dreams, I could not find a private men's room stall. Then, walking back on the street, I met my co-worker's mother, whom we had been waiting for. I asked why we couldn't take his car. Her reply: "We don't have car insurance." In the real world, I would have bailed at this point. Instead I woke up, thank goodness. All hail melatonin, baby. Jeff Blehar ( @esotericCD ) has a good essay up at NRO, excerpted at his twitter site.
"This was a political assassination. This was a blow against public participation in the debate. ... Shot dead for no other reason than getting into the arena and arguing a point. ... You can make sure that Charlie Kirk didn't die in vain by getting out there in the arena yourself, and speaking your mind." That would make a good shift in the Overton Window. Well the first thing that needs to happen is that any high profile conservative who does speaking events needs to only do it inside from now on.
Charlie loved doing his thing outdoors because it was easier to coordinate and setup his debate sessions. But I don’t think anybody can afford that risk. I also recommend some of these people wearing thin Kevlar under their clothes. It’s too risky out there for conservatives in the public arena. 126 The fact that AMD keeps its socket sizes the same for longer than Intel seems great for upgrading a computer's CPU's. But in 20 years of working on and with computers, I have never switched out a CPU for a customer.
People just buy a whole new computer when they are ready for a faster one. Built my own home PC for years - lately, (or well, the last 20), the pattern is usually a full build from components, a few years later, maybe a HDD/mem/video card upgrade. That would hold me for another few years, but then probably time for a CPU upgrade on top of everything else - that's when I'd do another full build - don't think I've ever upgraded just the CPU, holding the same motherboard. And the settings are Vote or Shoot Fucking Everybody. And believe me, you really don’t want that switch to get flipped, because Civil War 2.0 would make Bosnia look like a trip to Disneyworld. Yes but it's an illusion to cope with our impotence in these situations. It's never going to happen because the Right lacks the will to act and the Left knows it. You pop a tire, open the trunk and realize there's no spare. You would have driven more carefully if you had known. We put up with what we shouldn't because we think there's a switch.
