I honestly do not know. We are in a situation where it demands leadership from both sides to avert it. The Dems, like in 1856-1860 are bewitched by the fireeater extremists and unable or unwilling to put their house in order. The GOP has Trump who is a tough experienced president (unlike Lincoln) and an unruly government where the top of the agencies are fighting subversion from all teh assorted bureaucrats in those agencies.
At the very least, something like the Palmer raids in 1920's of Commies and tranarchists might put a crimper on things for awhile. But Trump has to take out the funding mechanism for this shit and the lawfare apparatus and those are in the blue states and cities.

I attend a Traditional Latin Mass parish in Houston. I'd gather most of the parishioners are conservative. The sermons are not political but uncompromising about Catholic doctrine, which is frequently at odds with the progressive agenda.

Was it a neck shot like originally reported, or lower?
Reason why I ask is it tells us the experience of the shooter. If zeroed at 100 and the distance to target was greater, then a neck shot makes sense because the head shot is the effect that the Deep State wanted in Butler, and not being able to calculate bullet drop from an elevated position means it wasn't a pro, but a cut-out like Crooks.
