Can you imagine a white guy saying this? Of course not, white men know that no one in the world is looking out for us except for our families and God, and we know that there isn't a whole national political party dedicated to making us "succeed" even when we fail.

This reminds me of the dozens of times Kamala Harris leaked it to media allies that her staff just wasn't preparing her enough.

Ask any gun store clerk how many times that a customer has pointed a gun at someone in the store. The truth is that a lot of people are careless with firearms and allowing them open carry in a store means that inevitably they will draw their pride and joy to show someone else. Sometimes that will result in a negligent discharge that hurts someone.

Ideally a gun store could exclude idiots from entry but you really do not know who the idiots are until they expose themselves--often then it is too late.

I watch Time Team (UK archaelogy show). I've come to the same conclusion about ground penetrating radar unless the target is really big like a wall, etc. Time Team always starts with the magnetic and sometimes GPR surveys and it is about as accurate as someone doing an aerial survey.

Depends on a lot of factors for accuracy. If the ground is disturbed like plowing, etc. then GPR or the magnetic survey is much less accurate at detecting what is below. Soil type can also matter.

I suspect you could do about as well to detect graves if you took core samples of soil to figure out where the natural soil layers had been disturbed or had a really accurate surface height variation measurements to indicate variations from the normal surface. Then again, not an archaeologist, just watch shows about it.

Open carry was outlawed in California (long rifles) when (after) the “Black Panthers” started hanging around the Capitol building in Sacramento wearing fatigues and berets with shotguns and rifles. Just exercising their 2nd Amendment rights.

But open carry is a tool, in the toolbox, it ought not to be unlawful nor the only choice. It has its applications, it just means people aren’t automatically criminals if they get a glimpse of it under your shirt, for example.

YEP. This is the payoff system the Dems have - book deals. They pay her $30 million, she sits and has coffe with a ghostwriter for a couple of hours a week, for three months. Then comes the book tour - where they pay her with luxury accomidations for three months. Next comes "oh now, our massive investment in the book we thought would be popular lost money. Good thing we can write it off on our taxes."

Lastly the real secret part - the publisher got paid off as well - someone else fronted the $30 million for a "share" of the "profits". The publisher publishes these books because it is a no-lose deal. Whatever they sell they keep all the money, because Kamala is being paid by an "investor".
